This is a sweet store. It was my first time here on Christmas Eve Day. I was trying to buy some Just Egg for my Christmas morning breakfast. Sunfresh did not have any, neither did Cosentino's have any. I called over to Nature's Own and they had said they had some. Lucky for me, they were open. I went in about noon bought 3 bottles of Just Egg, some produce, and some Zum hand soap. I plan to return frequently due to great parking, nice owners, safe and healthy affordable organic products and a surprisingly larger store than it appears on the outside.

With a larger selection than you expect from the outside this grocery store is vital to the River Market neighborhood. Understandably due to the size, prices are a bit high.

Apparently talking to coworkers instead of greeting and thanking paying customers is more important than the cashier’s job.. I was never greeted my receipt was put on the counter so I asked am I done no hi or thank you cashier stated oh we are just busy but grabs her cigarette to take a smoke break cashier definitely needs to be coached on being professional when interacting with customers… sad experience choose better cashiers NATURES OWN!

Great grocery store all around. It does have higher prices compared to big chain stores but that is to be expected. That being said, the products are of MUCH higher quality. It also carries a wide variety of locally sourced products which is nice as my family prefers to support local businesses. Excellent beer/wine/liquor selection. Fresh local produce. Meats sourced less than 30 miles away. I stopped in to see what all they had to offer and I'm confident I can purchase almost everything that I would normally get from Hy-Vee, just with a higher price tag. I'm willing to take the price increase for higher quality and healthier foods.

Lots of organics, non-GMO, non-chemicals, natural stuff. Sounds pricey? Kinda, but they have frequent and great sales. Besides, you're doing good for the planet and yourself. Produce, health & body, candy, bulk goodies, baby stuff, dairy and non-dairy, beer and wine? Yes, please! Plus, friendly, helpful staff. A fun place to go, a good place to shop.

This place is great. The people there are always super helpful and remember you. We really love having this in our neighborhood and try to support them as much as possible. Great fresh coffee selection and access to a good grinder. Handmade peanut butter. All around wonderful.

The staff are so extremely nice, polite and helpful. The quality of the produce is great. Nice little gem in the midst of downtown KCMO. I walked by multiple times before realizing is was a grocery store!

Jeff and his wife were so kind! They just opened the new location on Sunday and my bf and I went to check it out tonight. They had just closed but they still opened their doors for us to buy a few items! I definitely will be making this my main grocery story. So many great items, such great service, and so convenient.

Honestly so grateful for this store. Otherwise I'd essentially live in a food dessert without close access to healthy foods without crossing the river or going to Westport. If you like a product let them know! They'll keep it in stock for you. So friendly and clean. :)

I stop by here once or twice a week for basics - they usually have everything I need plus many specialty items that I love. The staff is always really nice and very knowledgeable. It is probably a little pricey, but it's also convenient and offers high quality products, so it's worth it.

The 5 stars are for the customer service. It's awesome. They are very knowledgeable about what they sell and are more than happy to assist you. The selection is pretty good. The prices are a bit high even for a health food/natural market.

I really appreciated this store location and being able to pick up my natural and organic foods without driving all the way to the nearest Whole Foods. All of the cashiers have been friendly and professional but I have had issues with the service provided by the staff working on the floor. An employee named Rachael is in charge of ordering and accosted me in the aisles because I purchased all of the remaining product on the shelf. The receipt was over $70 and she put herself in my face and even started yelling at me because I told her to leave me alone and it wasn't my problem to worry about her ordering. She went beyond rude and as I was asking for the managers phone number she stood behind me with her arms folded and just grinned at me as I walked out of the door. She was extremely immature and has no business being in a position of supervisory status.

I love having a healthy grocery store within walking distance! Staff is always very helpful and friendly, and for a small market their selection is great! They always have a great supply of fresh produce, and plenty of vegetarian, gluten and/or dairy free options.

This place is the TREASURE of the Rivermarket neighborhood. There is never a time that I go into this store and am not greeted with smiling faces. I always feel like I am receiving help that is wanted and I am confident that everyone I have encountered on this staff will give me honest recommendations and most of all, I am thankful to have a grocery store that provides local foods that allow me to support my community. Great place. The people who work there are very warm and welcoming. They are always so accommodating in answering questions and making sure we have what we need. The prices are fair. Their stock is always fresh and they are dog friendly.

Got some excellent deals on Garden of Life products, cheaper than buying online. Also saved money on other supplements from their clearance section. The produce prices were a bit too steep for me, personally. But I assume it's due to it being organic and sustainable sourced from specific local/foriegn farms, so that's understandable. Can't comment on other items like the basics, as I didn't really view them. They seem to have an amazing selection of foods. Also sell alchohol. I didn't get a chance to check out the GF items either. Staff and owners were very friendly. Will be visiting again, especially for supplements.

Nice little grocery store (with local foods) tucked away next to River Market in KC. It's a nice use of the unique space and you'll be able to find a little bit of everything a larger market might have for reasonable prices. I tried out the wild ginger harvest trail mix and it was delicious!

This is a great place if you need a couple items to tide you through the week, or if you are looking for high quality specialty items, or spices, vitamins or supplements. It's definitely a higher price range than an average chain grocery store but if you can afford it I think the quality is worth what you pay for smaller quantities.

What an adorable little place! Great selection of organic, vegan, vegetarian and whole food products. Think of it as a downsized Whole Foods with a friendly local feel. Us St. Louis tourists are totally jealous!

I came here to get a bottle of honey, to be exact coopers honey. The 24 oz bottle is being sold for 12/13 dollars here versus cosentinos right down the street selling the EXACT same bottle for 6/7 dollars. THIS PLACE IS VERY OVER PRICED DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Just go to cosentinos or Whole Foods or Publix they have everything they have and WAY more for literally of the price.

Great space with ample parking. I have not only shopped there but also picked up lunch during the work week (FUD sandwiches and UnBaked Salad) It is a shade east of the city market but it has everything you could want from a health/special dietary needs. The staff is always very friendly. Go check it out!

I finally made it down to the new location of natures own that's located down in the city market Off 5th Street... it was small and very quaint and it didn't offer a lot of stuff that it offered when it was located on Main Street before they had the fire upstairs that made them move... one of the employees said that yes they were going to be opening another new Nature's Own somewhere in the proximity of the Midtown area... to be honest I really wasn't impressed with the new Nature's Own down by City Market and I don't think I'd want to go there again... I did go back to Nature's Own and it is really expensive I got one bag and it was $120 very pricey
