We've been eating here for over 10 years. In my opinion this place used to have the best pizza in KC, however, over the past couple years the pizza keeps getting thinner and thinner. Today was the last straw, not sure it is possible to make a thinner pizza. Disappointing it appears the place is putting profits over quality... and we did not order thin crust pizza.

Incredible Kansas City staple! I split a half cheese half pepperoni pizza with 3 other members of my party. The dough was perfectly crafted, the cheese was stretchy and flavorful, and the sauce was warm. The lemonade was sweet but not too sweet, and the service was quick and attentive. The overall atmosphere of Martin City was young and lively, and the music choice was very nice. I will definitely be returning to this location and the other locations across the KC Metro. We were in town for baseball tournament, and couldn't decide where to go, but we knew we wanted some pizza. This place was recommended by someone we knew in the area, so we decided to try it out. Excellent!We went on a Sunday, which turns out they have all day happy hour, so that was an added plus. They had $2 off on their beer as well as appetizers had decent discounts too.We ordered two appetizers: brussel sprouts and pork tips. We all really enjoyed the Brussels a lot! Pork tips on the other hand were not near as good. Pretty dry, very gristly, and just overall not that great.For the main dish, we had two 8-in pizzas (appetizers) and a sandwich. We ordered a bacon pizza and a brisket pizza. Both were excellent, but they bacon pizza was our favorite! The sandwich on the other hand was nothing to brag about. Pretty blah, and just basic. Not a lot of flavor, but wasn't bad either. Would not order that again. Pizza on the other hand, I would order tomorrow if I were there.Kid-friendliness: It's a tap room, but the servers were very nice. We're no issues for anything with kids, though our kids are teens. I think it would have been fine for a younger kids as well.

I’ve been here a bunch over the past year and have never had a single thing to complain about. The food, drinks, and service are always wonderful and they were so accommodating when we brought a foster dog by to celebrate his 2nd birthday! Our server went above and beyond and the manager even agreed to start putting up flyers for adoptable dogs! Their eagerness to support animal rescue in Kansas City just adds to their awesomeness!

Truly enjoyed this brewpub location. Pizza's made on the stone and the sizes are very manageable. The Abbey Belgium Dubbel and the Bourbon Barrel Abbey were delicious brews. We also got a specialty meat pizza which rocked! The place has a real good vibe and can sit outside or inside. The staff was efficient, respectful, and very patient. We parked around back and was met at the door with an extremely friendly hostess. Would definitely go back.

I dined-in with my oldest son for a guys night. We ordered a large pizza. Unfortunately while grabbing our second round of slices, half the pizza slid off of the dish onto the floor.Within 30 seconds a manager tapped me on the shoulder and said a new pie was in the oven. 10 min latter a new pizza arrived and saved the day.Pizza was great and service couldn't be any better. Total class act.

Great atmosphere! We didn't know it was also a brewery so we took the opportunity to try out all the different brews. Our server was patient with us and gave us lots of information about the brews we were drinking or were interested in. Good happy hour times. We tried the barbacoa sandwich and BYO pizza. The chips taste homemade and the sandwich was out of this world. The pizza was really good as well, but I only snuck a bite or two of my partners meal so I can't really comment more than that. Quality craft beers for sure 💜

Absolutely love Martin City Brewing. Probably the best brewery pub in KC Metro area. Amazing lunch specials. Beers are top notch. Always have some barrel-aged, Brett beer, unique offerings. I have never been disappointed, EVER!!! You will regret not stopping.

Been here many times with our boys and we enjoy it. Family friendly. Dog friendly, which has proven awkward a few times….. dog people…… Menu is a little cookie cutter, quality of food is good and everything usually tastes great. I do not recommend the salmon BLT and the only time we tried the bruschetta the flavor seemed off. I do recommend the Cuban, meatball sandwich, and pizzas. Salads are pretty solid. It is very reasonably priced for the quality of food, I think it could be elevated and the good people of this world would appreciate it. Beer is great, I love the fireside, winter warmer, hardway, and most other beers I’ve had poured. We are beer club members and I enjoy the perks/coming in once a month to dine affordably with my family. That’s all I have for now, cheers!

This is our favorite restaurant! Everything on the menu is fantastic: pizza, salad, wraps, appetizers. Casual atmosphere. Great for families. Staff is great. Craft beers made on site. Music on the weekends.

What's not to love about Martin City Pizza and Taproom? I've never had a bad experience here.The Pub and Pizza place are two different restaurants and have different menus but are I couldn't find the pub which is where my pictures of from. I've been to both and feel the same love for each.I haven't had a bad thing after multiple visits, but my personal favorite on the pizza side is the Apple in Italy or Wild Mushroom Pizza, and a Caesar salad. My pic from the pub is the Woodsman burger. I haven't had the Beeramisu, but I've heard it's outstanding.There's plenty of room to sit, games are full view, has a good vibe, and the staff is great. Martin City is on the highlight reel of up and coming South KC as well.

Their lunch special is really good for the price. $10 for a salad and a 8" specialty pizza 11am-3pm. This is decent sized establishment with the brewery bar across the street. There is a good atmosphere here with most tables having their own conversations and there are a couple flat screen tvs on the wall.

Great place to eat. We are still looking for outside seating and this place still has it through the cold months. They even have pictures tables in front of the covered patio is full. I'm not a beer lover but the friends we go with love the different brews. The pizza is amazing too. The crust is like hand tossed pizza. Many different flavors and toppings. From eggs and bacon and chorizo to thai. The place is always busy if that tells you anything. We frequent this place.

Martin City Brewing Company NEVER disappoints. The pizza is consistently wonderful with a crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Our go-to appetizers are the brussels sprouts and the pretzels with beer cheese. The brews are PHENOMENAL! We always take home 24-packs with us for the beer fridge. <3

We hadn't been here in over a year, so we decided it was time. They were pretty busy but Barbie did a great job taking care of us. We had a few beers, Survival Blonde, Holiday Ale, Love Coffee Stout and a Game Day Pilsner. All were really good. My wife and I split a Cuban sandwich and they use stone ground mustard instead of just regular mustard and I'll say it was pretty good. Their homemade potato chips with parmesan were a good surprise. Always good food and beers here.

All beers were awesome, especially the Oktoberfest and Lime Gose! The Chicken Spanikopita pizza (white garlic alfredo sauce, fresh roasted garlic, super tender chicken, huge artichoke hearts) was the best pizza we've ever had. Ever! And we've eaten a ton of pizza all over. Philip was an excellent bartender. We'll definitely be back!

One of my favorite places for pizza and great beer! Their Apples In Italy pizza is absolutely insane. I love coming here to try the new release beers and use my VIP pass! It’s absolutely worth it and I use every penny of it each month. The atmosphere is fun, and the cute little street it’s on is even better! I absolutely recommend this place!
