***PUPPY MILLS***Land of Paws has adorable puppies that catch your eye immediately when you enter the building. But before making a life long commitment to one of their furry little friends, first look further into the breeder that they tell you your puppy is coming from. What they told my sister was that a sweet old lady from Topeka, KS was the breeder of her new toy poodle, Pippa. My sister thought highly of the sounds of that and figured the breeder seemed trust worthy. Now, a few short months later when looking further into address information on Pippa's microchip, my sister discovered the name of Pippa's breeder. She googled the breeder's name and discovered horrifying information. This "sweet old lady from Topeka, KS" is one of the largest puppy mills in the Midwest and has well of 650 dogs. I am very sickened by this news and VERY disappointed in the owners and staff of Land of Paws with their lack of character and judgment; they are well aware of what they're doing and where their puppies are coming from and unfortunately they're choosing to support puppy mills. We love Pippa and luckily have had no health issues as of yet, but we will NEVER be purchasing another dog from Land of Paws nor any other pet store again. I hope you will make the right decision after reading this.

This land of paws is a lot smaller the one we are used too, we were still able to find our lill Angel a chew toy and treats. Love the little outfits but none were small enough for our teacup. Well be going to our normal land of paws for those and our special book.

We go in to see the beautiful puppies. The staff is friendly they are not the type to hound you to buy anything. But if you have any questions they are very helpful and knowledgeable. You will always see a smile. They are the best and have a selection like no other.
