I adore this store. They are one of my favorite places to shop for my dog! I got a custom collar made there and it was only like 30ish bucks which is pretty amazing and they have super cute treats there and lots of necessities such as shampoo and food as well. They have a giant wall full of different colors and you just pick one out and then you pick the size out and then they custom make it. They told me it would be ready in 3 days but it is ready the next day! My dog also loves to roll around in mud and dirt so I was a little concerned about how the collar would clean but all I had to do was scrub it a little bit with a Scrub Daddy and soap and then rinse it off and it was as good as new. I am so happy with how the collar turned out and my dog looks so beautiful in it! Can't recommend k9 closet enough!!

Love this place. The reason I go most is for the special collars. Heidi (owner) has the biggest selection & sizes. There’s everything for cats and dogs there. Clothes, collars, food, supplements, CBD for dogs, leashes, toys, and treats! JUST GO!

Hands down the best pet boutique in Kansas City! Sooo welcoming and nice, extremely personal and very happy to help find everything you need! I just picked up my first order of custom collars and was SO happy with them! The store is adorable, the people working there are great, and the store cat is a delightful heathen. They also carry high quality pet food, toys, and more. My only wish is that the store was bigger and carried even more good stuff - with that being said, you’ll still have no problem finding something awesome for your pet!

Gracie enjoyed her visit to k9 closet near the city today and gave it 10 outta 10 bones . They have a wide selection of cookies, handmade collars with fun patterns, toys, food - everything! The staff was also the best - especially the shop cat named Eddie who wanted to be her BFF. 🐱🐶

Whenever I want to buy a new collar I always come here, even though I live far away from it! The people here are always nice (including those from the tattoo shop next door) and my dog always gets the best rubs when we come in!! Thanks for the awesome service!!

My 85lb Lab/Rottie absolutely loves his 'necklace', however be aware, they are not for tie-out, just like the site says. He popped through all the stitching holding the D-ring on his ruff & tuff. I will admit however, he pulls hard enough to rock my Silverado...lol K9 Closet fixed it for him so he can wear it complete on walks.

A delightfully curated pet boutique! The collars are second to none. Prices for large dog collars are comparable at big box stores, but the level of quality and attention to detail here put all others to shame. The selection is fantastic. I had custom collars made, my girl Mags and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve purchased treats, chewy chill snacks and toys as well. If I were to describe this lovely shop in one word, it would be quality.

Got the dog a couple of custom collars that she loves showing off in and gets a lot of compliments for. I ordered them online and they were done really quickly. Love the martingale feature, too! It acts as a bit of a shock absorber when she sees a squirrel. The treats that I got her went over amazingly as well! Definitely going back!

Update: still shopping here and still stand by what I wrote before! Ask about custom collars! You can pick the fabric, width, fastener, and style and they have a fast turnaround!Love stopping in here for specialty toys and treats for my lab! The selection of handmade collars is top notch (though a little spendy... but they are so cute I can't help myself!). They sell a variety of goods for cats and dogs, and everything is top quality. They don't have anything in the store they wouldn't provide for their own pets! Pro tip: Follow them on social media, around holidays the owner hosts photo sessions for your pets for $10.

I love supporting local businesses and this is by far one of the best pet places around. The owner is so nice. The employees are also so nice they are all very knowledgeable. Top quality foods. Great prices on everything. Good selection of dog and cat toys. They even have good medicines for dogs that actually work. I am definitely a dog person in this place I stand by. Not many places I will say that about. They also hold events with photography available and they can design the coolest leashes and collars that your mind can think of.

I order a harness for my dog, I had no idea had to measure her and ended up sending the wrong measurements. She took back the harness and make me a new one at no charge and the new fits perfectly. I absolute love the harness she made its great quality and looks lit it will last a long time. Its fits perfect on my Mini Aussiedoodle. I've already recommend this store to all my friends and family. If your looking for a cute collar, leash or harness I 1000% recommend K9 Closet!!!!

Amazing pet shop! I used to live in KC and would venture to the pet boutique quite a bit. Moved away and still can’t get enough of this place! Back to ordering more, this time via online. Shipping is on-time and as promised. Customer service is top notch and the quality... well that speaks for itself! I would NEVER purchase pet products from anyplace else since I had a taste of K9 Closet’s quality. Highly Recommend!!!
