We went to the store on a busy evening, so it took us a while to find a parking space. However, the store was brightly lit and neat, which allowed me to quickly locate the items I wanted to purchase. The self-checkout process was smooth and hassle-free.

We have gone to the Hyvee on St. Claire off Barry Road for 20 years. The pharmacy is personable and accurate. The Chiefs gear is one of a kind. Meat selection there is excellent. Keto and healthy choices abound. We love the restaurant there. So many great experiences there.

Got some good vegetables: yellow bell peppers, green onion, mini cucumbers, and zucchini. Good deals on meats, chicken wings, pork chops, and others. I'm not entirely sure what the men behind the meat counter do. We were looking for thin sliced meat, and he directed us to the frozen aile, we were looking for fresh meat. Check out was quick and painless. She also bagged the groceries thoughtfully.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Their sales are really good. We use the fuel saver. Last time we got gas, we paid $.18. We saved $59.60.

I like location because it is always clean. The staff is friendly. I am not a fan of self checkout - it works fine but the majority of the checkouts are self checkouts.

We had this Hy-Vee cater our wedding and the food, floral, and cake was amazing! Garen from catering and Bobbie from floral were very easy to work with. Thank you for helping make our day so special.

I changed Hy-Vee locations not all that long ago from another Northland location to this one - I was growing unsatisfied with the quality and service. This location, while not perfect, is vastly superior. The majority of my visits are via aisles online and it's so much better, that my 4 year old asks when doing a grocery pickup "is this the good Hy-Vee or slow Hy-Vee?". This location has 4 lanes for pickup and staff is always ready when you get there. For reference the "slow Hy-Vee" has 2 lanes and often you may sit in your car for 5 minutes before staff comes out to ask the name on the order - even if you're the only car there. The products I've received here are much better as is communication. Other Hy-Vee's I've received molded strawberries and mushy apples. I've never had an issue here with bad fresh products.Overall, this location has essentially become my main Hy-Vee. It's faster, provides better quality, and more often than not needs no substitutions because things are in stock.

I am always able to go in and find what I need quickly. The fuel saver points really help on our monthly gas cost. The sales are great and I love that they will prepare your seafood for you.

I am new to Kansas City. I moved here from Austin, Tx. I will be honest I was pretty sad to be leaving TX because of the grocery store HEB. With that I have found my new favorite grocery store! Hy-Vee has the same vibe to it! The produce and meat selection is on point and of great quality! I also enjoy the artisan bread selections that they have in the bakery. I love the quick and easy meals at the front which some are cooked and ready to go and also have dishes prepared where you just can take home and cook it yourself. I loved that concept at HEB and love that Hy-Vee does the same! They have their own smokers at this location too to where on certain days they have their smoked wings that they make fresh in house! If you see them grab them while you can! They are AMAZING! I found it very interesting that they have a bar at this location as well so ladies can drop their significant others off while they go shopping haha! I love the cleanliness of this store and the customer service is excellent! This is my new favorite grocery store in town!

Hyvee is a nice, upscale grocery store chain here in the Kansas City area. They have great selections and good customer service, however the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the prices. They are much more expensive than other grocery stores around like Wal Mart.

Hy-Vee is always the greatest grocery store you can find. From the freshest meats, deli, fruits and much more all the way to some of the best people they have for employees...always the goes above and beyond .. xoxoxo

Hyvee always has a nice selection and is clean, people are friendly. That being said the Liberty Hyvee is the most confusing layout ever. My friends and I have talked about how hard it is to find anything. The split isles are awful. Barry road is a better layout. It is an expensive grocery store but does have good sales

This Hy-Vee has an excellent selection of vegan and non-dairy cheese and other products. The clerk at the deli counter was very friendly and had an excellent selection of fresh meat sliced and ready to go. Check out this store.

I have enjoyed the Oriental meals in the food court for many years, and I've never had a problem. Today, however the orange chicken was inedible. My dog got my portions. I hope this trend doesn't continue.

The photo attached is a gift basket that was gifted to my son by Hy-Vee after being racially profiled while shopping at their store.Hy-Vee off Barry Rd is a grocery store I visit at least twice a month. On 5 January 2024, around 8:45 a.m., I was shopping for my son's 6th birthday. As I was checking out via self-checkout, I noticed a white male employee was standing about two feet away from the self-checkout I was utilizing. His behavior was odd because the store was nearly empty, and I was the only one checking out. I purchased my items and went into the liquor store to finish shopping. I heard someone say to watch her (referring to me), but I had also taken a call, so I wasn't listening to the employees gathering to discuss whatever they had to talk about.Once I got to the counter to buy my beverages, a woman asked if I purchased my groceries and if she could see my receipt. I was annoyed but handed her my receipt so she could review it. Instead of returning my receipt and going about her day, she kept it and stood in front of my basket. I asked her if she needed something and if I could have my receipt back. She gave me my receipt but said she would wait until I purchased my items. She then asked me if I was planning to buy my beverages. At this time, I had already started handing items to the cashier. I was very annoyed and responded, "What does it look like I'm doing? She stated, "I don't know. I'm just making sure you buy your items." I angrily retorted; I don't need this; I'll buy my items on the post.I spoke with the store manager and director to try to understand what had just happened. I explained to him that I'm an active-duty field grade officer who doesn't need to steal from a grocery store. And my profession doesn't matter. What matters is your employees hawking over me while shopping because I "looked" suspicious.I cannot express how this makes me feel. I'm in an interracial relationship and go over and beyond to combat racism. Friday's situation makes me feel like a fool and has me questioning everything.

I used to like this Hyvee, the products are good, but since when does the bagger no longer put the grocery in the cart? He aggressively shoved all my bags to the side for me to put in the cart. (Broke my eggs) And was rude when I had trouble with a very heavy bag getting it into my cart. There is no need for baggers any longer. If this is who management hires, maybe you need new managers.

I am a frequent shopper at two Hy-Vees stores particularly the one off 29 hvwy on 64th & the other one off barryroad, near Zona Rosa. They are always pleasant, very friendly, the atmosphere is very nice. There Price are some what reasonable, but fare. Good place to shop for your family.

I was looking for something specific at that long fridge next to the produce section. The worker all the way at the other end walked up to ask if he could help me find something. I told him what I needed, and he knew exactly where it was, which was a completely different spot than I was looking lol of course. Shouts to the worker at the other end of the fridge with great skills interpreting body language, being very kind, and super helpful.

My Pastor, Bishop shops there about 3x a week and spends about a thousand dollars a week . It's her friendly neighborhood store. NOTSunday morning Feb.11th she stops to buy groceries and door prizes for the Superbowl to be accused of stealing two magazines. She had already rang up a few hundred dollars when a employee came over and accused her of not ringing up two magazines upon the review they found the employee was totally wrong and my pastor never received so much as an apology from the general manager or anyone She was embarrassed humiliated and hurt behind this. she spends roughly $1,000 a week at this store .She is the community Shepherd and feeds this community and others. This is true discrimination The girl walked up around everyone and chose my pastor who is a woman of color ( Black) of course stealing 2 magazines. This behavior should be dealt with, addressed and we know that discrimination is alive in your neighborhood and pettiness will not be tolerated

I haven’t been here in a long time so I thought I would give this place a shot again. Yep, it’s still the worst Hyvee in the Midwest. Started off with no water pressure in the bathroom and no paper towels to dry my hands. Went to go look at premade meals… burnt calzones was about the best the had to offer. No plastic baggies for produce. Expired meat from the day before for sale (I was there at 9pm the next day) When I finally get checked out which included a purchased gift card that I wanted the receipt for, the receipt prints blank and they act like it’ll be a big deal to figure out how to get me a true receipt. I said forget it. Pics attached. Done with Hyvee.

Not liking the new hy vee perks. Paying for extra for better deals. I looked into sales with the perks and still other grocery stores are cheaper. Not for me. Why we are paying more for sales? Think about it.

This HyVee charges higher prices than the HyVee off 64th street and the HyVee in Shawnee. It’s also very difficult to find items in the aisles. I did finally figure out that the way to navigate through this store isn’t by reading the signs above the aisles but rather to look at the pictures hanging from the ceiling so if your 4 year old is attempting to locate the items- you are in good shape!

This place has a freaking bar inside! I got dinner with Chinese and sushi and came over to the seating area to cheering from fans watching Monday night football. And 20 taps with bottles and liquor to serve! Uh, yes honey, I will accompany you to the grocery store will be every guys words in this neighborhood.

This store always seems to be fully stocked of all the good stuff, that people want to buy. This store is always really clean. This is the cleanest Hy-Vee by far, and the people are so nice and friendly, they actually acknowledge you. 👍👍

Good service, nice selection. Prices are high, but they are high everywhere, so tough to complain about higher prices for good quality. Fellas (and lady, though I don't recall her serving me yet) at the butcher counter are all quite friendly and helpful. Lines are usually about 3-4 deep when I get in them, though they can get long because companies don't want to pay for cashiers anymore. Overall, pretty good grocery store.
