I come to this DG weekly and love it for the cost savings and friendly staff. I was in a pinch when I needed some balloons blown up on the fly. I went to HyVee and they were going to charge $18 for 1! Thankfully across the street I was able not only to get my balloons inflated but to have some laughs with the ladies as well!

Today was my first time in this Dollar General and it will be my last. Very messy. Couldn't get the cart down some aisles due to boxes or store items in the way. I saw 1 sales person and didn't even acknowledge I was there.

An overall pretty bad customer service experience. The cashiers are never upfront, increasingly hard to find when you need one. I needed the bathroom key very urgently. Almost lost it in the aisle. Maybe a little feces would have taught them a lesson to pay attention to customers. I could have been having an emergency or robbed the place blind.

I received immediate assistance from a lady working today. She left what she was doing to check the shelf which didn't have the item I requested. So, she asked me to hold on as she went to the back and brought me the item. Very good customer service.My concern is when I usually go to this location, there's boxes full of items and some flattened which makes it difficult to maneuver around the store. I've seen other stores (not just dollar general) looking the same way...aisles congested and unable to get to items.I'm unsure if they should hire more staff to uncluttered the store or find a better method, which makes the appearance much better for all.

Great location, great architecture, store didnt seemed as kept up as other locations inside. Inventory was good, the aisles weren't cluttered with carts of stock.

I won’t be visiting this store again.They have hired a person that yells at customers .I was in the store last week and watched the same clerk yell at a customer - tonight i witnessed the person yelling at a customer again.When I nicely said something to the person about it, they yelled at me....I asked that they call their manager up front.His name is Trey. I asked that he stay up there with us, until the transaction was complete because, I didn’t feel safe at the register with the clerk, while I was being checked out.The clerk was mouthy and hateful.

Not really a fan but didn't want to go to wal Mart. Stuff is never put away, they are short-staffed, and have closed due to lack of staff according to the sign on the door once. Tonight the cashier told someone they can leave their cart inside when you can clearly take the carts outside. if you don't want to go to Walmart and they don't have stuff at Dollar tree then it's a good location.

This Dollar General is okay but just like the other one near 66th and North Oak, it's a gamble that they'll have what your looking for. The last time I was there they were unpacking inventory and the aisles were crowded. It's hard not to feel like you're on an episode of hoarders when they do that. They're usually understaffed too and the employees hardly ever seem happy to be there. Hopefully one day things will change at Dollar General.

The wasn't the best in stocking as the others I have been too. I couldn't find many. Ethic products as far as brown make up or other ethic products. There were many afro Americans supporting this store when I was there. But not providing the products that we need. I will not go back to that store.

Today was the worst experience I've had at this location. The radio was not tuned in so it was loud static. I could hardly stand being in the store. Plus once I went up to the check out one checker had her "lane closed - use other check out" sign up so I go and wait and wait on the other side ... well the other checker kept checking people out as they came up! Plus the store was a mess!

Shopped at Dollar General today ..first time in months..was totally impressed .store was clean ..new displays.. changed store around.more invetory than usual. Cashiers were very social and helpful and prices are great

Oof, good if you just need something basic, quickly and don't want to go to the way nicer and better priced HyVee literally within view. Don't know that anyone has ever cleaned anything here but the staff is super-nice.

Most expensive dollar general ever!!!! Bare shelves and trashed store! This place is like an over priced Target! They want $6 for kids toothpaste! If you think this place is "reasonably priced" you've never been any where but the grocery store!

Shelves empty. Out of almost everything I needed. Guess it was a successful Saturday for the store but a waste of time for me. Went to two DG's both same story. Should've just gone to Wal-Mart

Always great for a quick stop you know laundry powder softener dryer sheets coffee filters I just wish they had somebody on the cash register that could count back change haha

I really like dollar General but every time I go there they have carts with products that need to be put on shelves all in the way, see if there's something that can b done about this, it's not just in this dg but in all of them, it's like they don't have enough people to get their work finished.

This particular Dollar General is small and often has water dripping from the ceiling or carts of merchandise laying everywhere waiting to be put away by the workers which doesn't happen apparently. They always seem to be standing around and are often rude if you ask them anyting or approach them to pay for your stuff. The Dollar General on 72nd Street is even worse so I would advise going there either.

The staff at this store really try, but it's hard for them when it's a really small space & DG keeps pumping in more new items. You can barely walk.

about 25% of the items it was shopping for were out of stock. There are other DG stores in the area that carry a better stock.

Facility was grossly understaffed and isles were lined with crates. Very few items on shelves.
