I’ve been a few times and they are nice. I have gone later in the evening closer to closing but they are still friendly. The cashier was a wonderful person with some fabulous red hair. She was very nice and friendly! Would be nice if they were open later into the night though. There is barely anywhere you can go late at night in the northland anymore.

First time in this store and probably won't be back. The only positive I can say about it, is that it was clean other than the carts of items to be stocked just sitting in the aisles while the shelves were pretty empty even though the store was not busy at all. The 2 employees I did see were rude and the girl tha checked us out didn't say one word to us and then left the register after we paid leaving our bags all over making reach over the counter to get them all. Whatever happened to customer service.....

I’m not sure if I interacted with the manager or not but the older lady had a different colored shirt on than the other employees. Rude. Unprofessional. Sarcastic. Miserable. Needs to learn a thing or 2 about better communication before she catches someone on a bay day and gets punched in the face.

The manager is extremely rudeI visited this DG in June of this year. The store had a cardboard sign at the front stating “closed for circumstances beyond control until further notice”Another woman and I were chatting outside when the woman inside took the sign down and unlocked doors… said bye to my friend and then went in got my cart, said “hello” no response…woman working in store had disappeared. I went about my shopping. I heard boxes being moved around and followed the sound saying “hello” finding her I asked “do you carry moth balls?” She walked past me as if she didn’t hear or see me and pointed at the bottom shelf I was standing near to. I looked and there were no prices, I said “there are no prices on them, how much are they?” She’d again disappeared… at this point with her hostility opening up and then not even looking at or speaking to me, I left my cart and walked to the front to leave. She had her back to me, I said I’m sorry but there aren’t any prices on a lot of things… she interrupted and told me that she has security on the phone asking them to watch me! 😳 seriously? When did saying hello, or asking where an item is become criminal!? I called and left a complaint which got sent to another regional mgr. He contacted me asking if he could help then realized it wasn’t his store. Said it goes on his record could I please contact the complaint department and tell them (again) which store - I’ve got all of my text from him.I was so shook up over this insane treatment that I ordered my trash bags from that DG online and I live 2 blocks away.I’ve since been back, but fearful of this woman, which I had not seen again until today!! She was helping a customer and then she walked away seeing that I was standing there and wanted to ask where the Dole Peach Parfait is.. ? She turned on her heels and said “I know you “ and I was surprised! I said, I never pursued my complaint with corporate and said I am sorry for whatever I did wrong, she said “you were hollering and yelling from the time you came in” I said what!? I just said hello and where are your moth balls!!! I then tried to ask about what I’d come in for, she cut me off and said “I am asking you to leave this store and never return “ I was shocked, embarrassed and I said surely you have video of that day… why are you saying these things to me? It was awful 😞I’ve never been treated so rudely by anyone especially at the DG stores.I didn’t pursue the initial attack bc I lead a very busy life and I tried - the wrongfully accused area mgr sent me a copy of my complaint and I have video of it as I was leaving the first time I visited. The complaint has my phone number wrong and I chalked it up as the woman was likely having a bad day! Until today! I will never promote or purchase another item from DGI will be addressing corporate on Monday and perhaps legal advice. I’m sorry I’m just so rattled from this assault on my character without provocation as the store videos will show! But, do yourself a bigggg favor, just do not shop this store!!!! And she’s the manager!!!!

Why are all of the Dollar Generals so cluttered and are a mess. When they first open, they are so orderly nice and clean.
