I recently just had my birthday and picked up an ice cream cake from here, the people there were so nice to me and really made me feel welcome, me and my friends usually come here a lot since this is such a great place to get a scoop of something delicious! They may be a little low on some flavors sometimes but every single flavor tastes amazing!Kid-friendliness: The environment and fun foods are enjoyable for the whole family!

When we arrived something was up with the register, so the line was stopped for about 15 minutes upon our arrival. There was no communication as to what was going on or apology from any of the 5 employees. The ice cream was good. Definitely on the expensive side however.

Grabbed the cheesecake flavor with berries. I like the ice cream here as it’s not overly sweet. The waffle cone is also a good choice if you like that. The taste is always consistent after I have tried out at a few locations.

I had the best experience here. The lady at the register which I assume was the head manager or owner is the most respectful lady I’ve encountered. I witnessed her giving a family free icecream because the woman’s card kept declining. The icecream always tastes amazing and the cake case is always full. Everytime I walk into the store, it feels like we are all a family.

Make sure to call ahead before you order online. False advertisement is a thing. Not once but twice now that I have ordered ahead just to drive all the way to the store and be told the flavor I ordered they don't have. With two different flavors... if you don't have it then why is there on the website? And if you're then call the number you ask for to let me know so I have the option to at least change my order...

I have been in the restaurant industry for quite some time now. I never leave any bad reviews because I know we’re human and have good and bad days. Today was unacceptable I come in with my family the young lady helping us was rude. I have a sever allergy to cinnamon I asked if the waffle cones had any cinnamon I was told they are standard waffle cones. So I didn’t ask for a waffle cone she put my ice cream in the waffle cone. I asked again if they had cinnamon and I finally got a response they did have cinnamon in them. I told them I’m allergic to cinnamon they just looked at me didn’t say a word. I just paid and left. I just hope they take allergies more seriously because if I wouldn’t of advocated for myself I would of stopped breathing.

I ordered a custom birthday cake for my 3 year old. No issues were communicated prior to scheduled pick up, so I assumed all was well. When I arrived for pick up-I was given no cake, provided no status on my order, and left standing in the lobby for half an hour while employees stared at me like I did something wrong. (Other than the man at the front working the register. He was very polite the entire time, offered me and my daughter water, and was the ONLY one in store to apologize for our inconvenience and being ignored and avoided so long by other staff.)Finally, after 30 min, the “district manager” arrived to the store with a snippy attitude towards me to inform me that my cake wasn’t done. When I asked why this wasn’t communicated to me before pick up, she responded with “I don’t know, I’m not the one that makes the cakes!” Eww.Most staff was extremely disrespectful to us after we waited patiently, without complaining or causing a scene, for half an hour. All while my toddler was yelling about cake and ice cream.I understand stuff happens, and that there was an obvious mistake/lack of communication here regarding my order. BUT the fact that this couldn’t be communicated to me upon my arrival, and how I was instead awkwardly avoided and then treated poorly is my issue. To top it off-they couldn’t process my refund in store ($55) and I had to go back and forth with the regional manager for 10 days to get my money back.

Worst cold stone creamery my boyfriend and I have ever been to. I ordered a medium and they make it the size of a small. Ice cream was melted when they handed it to us, melting all over the containers. It was like you are eating soup. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this location. Went here two different times and had the same experience. Not sure if the workers are unsure how to properly make the ice cream but I am not going to pay $15 for ice cream soup. Will never return to this location. Go spend your money at a different cold stone or someplace else

I know times are hard and staffing can be difficult…. But you have one teen male in particular snapping at people but particularly younger kids. My husband and I brought our 13 yr old son, my daughter (it was her 17th bday) and her friend in for ice cream… it was insanely busy which is to be expected for a Saturday night in Zona…I don’t care about a wait…or that the store was disgusting…or even the fact that the employees were dramatically struggling to keep up…they were trying..what I mind is that after my kiddos got their ice cream and my husband and I were getting ours…..the male teen in glasses was down by the register raising his voice and very nastily asked my son what he had..keep in mind it was slammed in the store and loud…my son didn’t know he was being talked to..and regardless didn’t know what we had ordered/what it was called…my husband overheard and told the teenager not to talk to his son that way again to which he did apologize…I think he instantly knew what he’d done. He was a little snappy while making my ice cream but I chalked it up to stress. Based off the previous reviews, I think it would serve this location well to look at the reviews about the rude staff, dirty store, and “melty” ice cream….and DO BETTER.

Great customer service! There are chair inside too which is convenient. Great place to get treats and relax a bit from shopping. I got a large coffee shake and a small ice cream ☺

On Saturday 9.11 of 2021 I arrive to pick up my order, in for one it wasn’t ready, secondly they didn’t have what they needed in order to make my ice cream also they didn’t have the chocolate dipped waffle bowl which I also ordered. Then they turn around and tell me that the one that I ordered for my husband they didn’t have so I turned around and ask for my money back. Here it is two weeks later and I have not received a phone call back from the manager refunding me my money which was a total of 23.99. I have called this place several times and have not gotten a hold of anyone to refund me my money or to resolve the situation. Everyone that I have spoken to are children who never seem to know exactly what’s going on or have anything prepped or ready. Also why is there never a manager available. Do not recommend this place it’s not organized no supervision and no one knows exactly what they’re doing.

Employees were working hard and were friendly but the place was filthy, like disgusting. Was going to order a smoothly but I decided not to because the blenders were as filthy as the counters and floors. By the time we got to pay our ice cream was melting out of our bowls. Too slow and too dirty. Not worth the money or the wait.

Terrible. The service here has went down so much! I paid 16$ for two shakes which isn’t the problem. The problem was that the shakes were poorly made. I was basically just drinking milk with Oreo pieces. I wanted a waffle bowl, but they only had one that was chocolate dipped and looked like it had been sitting out for days. I don’t mind spending the money they charge but at least it use to be for quality. The place now just looks dirty and not taken care of at all.

A little over priced but the young man that served us worked hard while there was one or two people in the back that was watching and when he was almost done one young lady asked if he needed help. At the time it was just 3 of us there and we were in the same group and the others may have been on break. The ice cream was good and there was plenty for the amount we did pay. It was a nice treat.

Disappointed. They were busy (mother's day), but they were out of many flavors. Wife waited through the long, slow-moving line and ordered a large and a medium ice cream creation, but they both ended up pretty small and the same size.Wife pointed out the issue and confusion ensued. Wife had to ask that they put the creations in the freezer while they were deciding since they were melting out on the counter. Finally asked about getting one of them discounted and they said they weren't allowed to do that.So they threw it away and made a new creation of the correct size. Rang everything up and got both ice-cream smeared containers in a plastic bag and left. The total was about $20 for the two smallish creations after the extended wait.Never again. There are too many other places out there that do a better job faster.

I had put in a cake order two days prior, when I went to pick it up I was told that my cake was not decorated, which was fine I could come back at a later time. however then I receive a call and was told my cake was never even made. I did receive a refund which I appreciate but if you’re going to order a cake judging by my experience and others I have seen on here I would maybe pick up a pre-made one or a different option.

Not impressed at all! The location is nice (literally the location like where it sits... the inside was filthy) ... the employees are so young and truly ignorant. I asked to pay for the special bowls they have out right now (animal crossings .. Mario etc) and they said no they can't give those out. I said specifically I wanted to pay for the bowl they refused (my 7 year old wanted it)..They were out of many flavors of ice cream granted it was an hour before closing .. if they have it in the back it should be available to the customer- period...When asking for 2 scoops with no mix ins for my son they put a single scoop of chocolate and a single scoop of coffee in a medium bowl and charged us for two love its...(mediums)I ordered a love it size French vanilla with brownie and peanut butter plus Carmel... they didn't put any Carmel in and the kid says (just do a love it with 2 mix ins since she paid more for the 2 scoops - altho that is what I basically got was a love it with 2 mix ins if they didn't add carmel...)I asked specifically why they charged me for two mediums for my sons plain 2 scoops in one love it size bowl and they didn't respond at all. Then the kid tossed my $5 and change on the counter infront of me instead of handing it to me.... VERY STRANGE place..employees and situation all together. Will not return! (We are from Hutchinson KS so usually go to the west wichita location and will let them know how amazing they do compared to....)

Horrible, horrible experience. Went in to get some ice cream and had the worst time. The store was being run by children that couldn't care less. None of them were wearing a mask. My partner asked multiple times if they could cover their faces so we could order. They ignored us and snickered. Finally my partner said that her stepdad had recently died of the virus so she is a little sensitive. They covered their mouths but continued to giggle so we decided to just leave. We both work in a restaurant so we understand how food service works. It was weird being mocked by asking for basic common courtesy. We went to Sheridans and had a great experience there!Edit to owners comment: We were there around 3 and if you check your camera's, you will clearly see your employee with their mask down under their chin.

Went in to cold stone this evening to take my son for his last ice cream trip. We were just about to walk in when we were rudely asked to go back outside and wait (there were 6 people inside). We walked back outside without hesitation and waited. We finally were able to walk in and was met by terrible customer service. We asked for a smoothie and one of the employees said okay and the other yelled across the store “we do not make them past a certain time” we stepped back in aw of the rudeness and decided to forget the smooth and continue with our purchase. The last straw was when an employee threw my sons ice cream on the counter. I have been to many cold stones and this was by far the worst one.

We sat outside. My vanilla ice cream was perfect. My partner had a mint choc chip ice cream. It had a lot of choc chips which I loved but she thought was too much. Hence 4* instead of 5. We’ll be back.

Don't buy cakes from this place. They stole my money. I ordered a cake on Sunday that was supposed to be ready Monday. It was not ready, and I asked for the manager to call back since they weren't in, they never did. I called 3 times on Tuesday and it went to voicemail each time. I went to the store Wednesday, and the cake still wasn't made. I can't get in touch with the manager or owner. Can't get a refund, and can't get a cake. Very unprofessional, and ruined a birthday party.

Cold Stone is one of my favorite places to go for ice cream amongst the other competitors. This is my number 1 spot to go to. Upon my “last minute late-night craving for icecream” I decided to make a trip that I knew would be possible to make before the location closed at 9:00 PM. I arrived at the location and walked up to the door at 8:49 PM (11 minutes before closing) and noticed that the door is locked. There was 1 employee there who gave me the signal that the store is closed. As I was disappointed and confused I contacted the store via phone. The employee answered, which I thought they were “closed”, and I asked if I could place my order. Their response was “we turn off our machines at 8:45 PM”. If that is the case then I believe it is fair to say that the store hours should be updated to reflect this. It is no different then walking into a convenience store to purchase a beverage or snack, or a retail store to purchase something 11 minutes before closing. It is disappointing and confusing in my opinion. I gladly drove myself to Dairy Queen for icecream instead. I will not let this visit deter me away from eating my favorite icecream from Cold Stone, but for the sake of others including myself, please update your store hours if you’re “closed” due to having your equipment turned off 15 minutes prior to your posted closing time.

The worst Cold Stone creamery I've ever been to.The fruit in my ice cream was frozen solid. I wasted money on extra toppings I couldn't eat with my purchase....I asked for strawberry, Bannanna & pineapple. I received 1 frozen half of a strawberry and no other fruits. I was just robbed. WOW
