Very attentive staff, willing to give your kids a great experience.We had been playing across the street at the park for a while, and the kids were excited to pick out new outfits for their bears that they had already made on a previous visit.The staff didn’t try to pressure us into getting more bears, they were very helpful selecting new outfits for the bears our kids already love.

Our family had a stillborn baby a week ago. We came in to make memorial bears with our infants ashes. If that wasn’t hard enough as it is, we were met with a cold heart from one of the workers. She wouldn’t let me leave the store with a bear unstitched so that I could put other items from my baby in there I didn’t want to bring into the store. I broke down and left the store. I tried to hold it together for my other children but just couldn’t. My husband asked for an exception and he was told “if I make one for you I have to make one for everyone” company policy. She was cold. What was supposed to bring peace brought pain. I returned my bear that I made for my precious boy. I contacted corporate. It’s not even a policy. What she did goes against build a bears mission statement and core values. I hope this woman finds her heart and empathy for other people one day.-brokenhearted momma

been a build a bear for 15+ yrs.. kids love hand selecting & helping stuff animal of their choice. a million accessories and personalized birth certificate whats not to love?although coupons and discounts are advertised its difficult to find 1 that actually works.

I went in today to get my daughters first bear! I had recently heard about getting a bear on her birthday month for her age, which is one! I went in and was greeted by 3 women, one about my age and two older. One older woman asked what brought me in, I asked about a birthday bear. Her attitude completely changed. She then proceeded to ask me if I was a member, I explained I wasn’t sure, she in a very harsh tone and attitude told me to get that deal I needed to be a member. I, trying to stay positive inquired how to do so, if I needed to do it on my phone? She told me it wouldn’t show fast enough and that they could do it at the register. I don’t understand her tone or why she made me feel so unwelcome if it were that easy. I’m sure my face showed it. She tried to play nice after, but she already made me feel so uncomfortable and so unwelcome there was no going back. I wanted to get the highland cow as well as the birthday bear but her and the other older womans unwelcome tones really lost the additional sale.I can’t stress enough, how unwelcome they made me feel…I was the only one in the store too, it’s not like I was going to hold up the line. When checking out, I actually WAS apart of their program. I asked the nicer younger lady to let the other woman know.She definitely ruined the experience of getting my daughter her first bear. I’m not sure if the attitude was from maybe I wasn’t dressed to the nines, or just asking about the deal. It was super uncalled for. We won’t be returning.

We went in last Saturday because it was my daughters birthday. It was also the first time she had been there. The gal who greeted us seemed like she did not want to be there. She didn’t talk much either. She wasn’t very interactive either while filling my daughters bear. It seemed like she just wanted to get it over with honestly. No one helped us out after that. I worked at this location years & years ago & we were taught to be “cheerful” & interactive with the kiddos. One of the other gals was super nice & interactive somewhat with our daughter & the gal who checked us out was also very nice. They didn’t have much to choose from in the way of outfits. I know everyone has their days & I maybe she was just tired or didn’t feel good. Hopefully the next time we go things are better!

We went for the very popular birthday bear experience and my son LOVED it! Pay the age of your birthday child and then choose your outfit. If you sign up for the emails you’ll get coupons to make your experience even cheaper which for parents these days is a blessing! The woman working was amazing and so sweet! She made the experience even better. Thank you Build-A-Bear!

Also remember if you have a Build a Bear stuffed animal that does not make sounds or talk any more. It is inexpensive to add a new voice box. Side not you can add any voice or your own voice to any animal. New or old.

Great location of this store. They were very friendly and helpful. It's always an experience going in and picking a bear or other animal. Their seasonal selections are great. They have lots of licensed characters from star wars to Harry Potter. They have boy, girl, and gender neutral options. It always takes a while to get through the store but so happy with the experience.

Best place to get kids AND adults stuffy and lovable teddy bears, filled with love and joy‼️❤️ Good idea for dates, kid’s birthday, anniversaries, etc. No bathrooms are here.

Much less variety of accessories than most BAB locations. Two Employees working seemed very tired, one didn't seem to feel very well. They were not rude, just seemed to only be able to give the 'bear' minimum that day.They messed up on our 6-in-1 voice clip additions to our products. I had to go to another location the following day to have mine replaced. The employees at the 2nd store said they didn't even understand what method the Zona store used to add the voice clip.I was also overcharged a small bit, nothing terrible, but still.In the future I will be more than happy to drive a bit further to a location other than Zona Rosa for my Build-A-Bear needs.Maybe they were just having a rough day. I hope things are better for others who visit.

Took my two kids to build a bear and they were managed very well even with COVID precautions. The staff was super helpful in the kids needs.We also had the misfortune of forgetting our wallet to pay for the bear, after we came back the staff in the evening on 8/20 we’re ready to check us out just in time before closing. I very much appreciated that and will be back again!

Just had a birthday party there. Our party leader was very helpful and made sure we kept on track. We got the awesome adventure packed, it was worth it. Everyone had such a good time, though I will say that their printer wasn't working, but said we could come back anytime to pick them up. All in all, successful.

We went here yesterday for my son's first birthday. The associate Kaitlyn was absolutely AMAZING. She was the sweetest with my son and was patient and encouraging when he took a while to put the heart in his bears. Definitely will be returning!

The staff was really nice and the store was very clean. We stopped in to look at the new bears and accessories. They had a lot of superhero and Star Wars items that were appealing to both boys and girls. I think they are doing a great job keeping up with the styles and themes of today.

Every time I’ve taken my daughter the staff is very friendly and the store very clean. The selection seems to be smaller than the OP mall but I could be wrong. Either way I’ve always had a great experience at this location. I made a gag gift bear for a friend and they were super cool about it and even giggled along with it.

The staff were nice but they wouldn't leave us alone and we felt like they were breathing down our necks. One of the worker's phone kept going off also. Just didn't feel too welcome from one of the workers. The other one that made the bear was nice.

The selection was ok. The staff was nice but not the most knowledgeable about the sale going on for the holiday. We called and asked about recording a saying for our bears and we're mislead. The recordings they did have weren't working correctly. A little frustrating and irritated. In the end the kids got what they wanted but not the smoothest transaction. Would rather drive the extra miles to go to Independence center than go to Zona Rosa

Taking children to this place is great, in theory. My kids were given gift cards for their birthdays and we thought we had enough for what they had picked out. I am currently unemployed because I care for my mother with cancer... I hated letting my kids down!

They were able to helps us get the entire collection of the specific doctor and accessories we wanted for a great price!
