Only great things to say about Priyanka! She always does an amazing job grooming my 2 nervous labradoodles. She is so patient and kind and my dogs feel very comfortable with her! Not only she does a great job with a low stress grooming but I also had a great experience with her pet sitting service. She is so passionate about her work and it helps knowing she also has a background as a veterinary technician. I know that my dogs are in great hands! Highly recommend!

This was our first time going to see Priyanka. I spoke to her on the phone previously a few times. She was so thorough about explaining her process and everything that I had a question about,she had a great answer for. She had a nice feeling vibe on the phone and after we spoke, I felt more at ease to bring my dog to her in home business for the first time. The day I went to drop Lucy off, Priyanka was awesome! She was just as friendly and kind in person as I expected her to be from our phone conversation. I met her husband, he was nice and was helping her with the other dogs. Her home is very nice and clean with everything nicely set up for the animals. And all the animals that she had there seem to be happy! My dog, Lucy suffers with anxiety, and I also was bringing her in for her yearly very short shaved haircut that I do during the summer, so Lucy did have some matting and it took extra time, but Priyanka took that extra time and love and attention, and my “Lucy girl” looked wonderful and seem to be doing just great when I picked her up 😊Overall I say we loved the experience! I definitely feel her pricing is fair. Her communication is good, and I love the haircut she did on my girl. I also appreciated it feeling like we’ve been friends for years when I talked to her! 💐thank you Priyanka for a great experience. We will see you again ! 🐩🐕🐕‍ 🐶🐾 🐈🐱🐈‍⬛

After trying four different groomers for my deaf, senior fur baby (who is highly triggered), I was about to give up. Then I tried Pryanka and I will never go anywhere else! She is so loving, detail oriented, thoughtful, and above all- very patient. Pryanka employs many methods to promote a relaxed environment including aromatherapy, lick mats, calm music, basically whatever it takes to get the job done in the best way possible for the pet. My fur baby is totally relaxed when I go to pick her up. Pryanka is a gem!

Priyanka did an amazing job grooming my cat. She is so patient and kind. Anytime she noticed my cat looking a little overwhelmed she would give him a break or switch to a new area to groom. I would totally recommend taking your fur babies here, she is such a sweet person and an amazing groomer!

Back in December my husband and I took in a long haired cat that was abandoned on the porch of an Air B&B and this poor guy was matted almost top to bottom, for MONTHS we tried everything to get his mats out from having the vet trying to shave him, to us buying numerous different combs and pet clippers, nothing worked for us. We called around to many different groomers and no one would take our cat in to groom him. Until I found A Trusted Friend! She spent the time to explain the process and ask me any and all questions about my cat. She made sure she understood the situation and understood our needs. She worked diligently to get us in as quickly as she could and maintained communication the whole step of the way! During our 2-Day grooming (my sweet boy needed the break), she made sure he was as comfortable as possible and gave as many breaks as he needed. She let me be there with him during the entire appointment to ensure his comfortability. She gave me tons of knowledge and advice on how to maintain his grooming/brushing as well! I HIGHLY recommend her for any and all Kitty grooming! Cat groomers are so hard to find so I’m so thankful we have her in our life now!

Priyanka has watched my pup for a total of 10 days so far. Thunder absolutely LOVES his time with her and her pups. So much so I'm scared he's not going to want to come home with me! His first time with her, she groomed him and cut his nails which was a major blessing especially since I'm pregnant. He's also not the best when it comes to getting groomed. It was so nice bringing home a clean pup!!This past time, she noticed something was off with his food amd contacted me. She threw out his food and then went out to buy him a new bag! Priyanka went out of her way to make sure his digestive system was okay, like checking temperature and giving his prebiotic to help his upset stomach. Seriously a LIFE SAVER!!I loved getting all the videos and photos of Thunder enjoying his time playing in the yard and resting inside. She has the absolute perfect space for dogs to enjoy and a huge backyard which Thunder took full advantage of. Will definitely be a repeat customer!! She treats him just like her own babies and he's just a part of their family!💕

Priyanka is always on top of it! I have an Aussie who can be anxious at times but he loves going over to A Trusted Friend. I have used her boarding and grooming services, and she goes over the top for both. During the boarding, we received multiple updates with photos and videos of our dogs! It made the process so easy and comfortable. She is also a professional groomer and gets my dog looking perfect every time. I am lucky to have found her and she is in a great location in north KC! Definitely recommend.

Me and my puppy had a total of 3 visits at a trusted friend pet groomer and each time I felt he wasn’t being groomed to my liking, on the second visit I got charged extra for my dog “being not well behaved” which I felt was ridiculous given he was only 5 months old and this was only his second time ever being groomed and is always well behaved at home. Our third visit was the worst of all. I was specific with the cut I wanted and when I came to pick him up he looked awful she told me she had accidentally put the wrong blade on when cutting his head leaving his hair super short (opposite of what I wanted ) she tried fixing it by just shaving down his face almost to the skin which just ended up looking worse and also charged me full price for that visit after making a huge mistake that couldn’t be fixed. When we got home I noticed he was leaving blood behind I searched his body and found that she had cut his nails so short to the point he was bleeding and his paw pads seem to be shaved down way to far leaving them looking red and clearly irritating him and bleeding. moments later he began throwing up and just wasn’t himself that whole day. We will never be back to a trusted friend and pet groomer and I don’t recommend her to anyone. She was well aware she harmed him to the point he was drawing blood and tried to get away with it not bringing it up to me so I’m aware and can treat his wounds. She just cares about the money and has no patience’s or care for these dogs. The only reason she has all these 5 star reviews is because after the first visit she begs you to leave her a review.

It's also extremely helpful that she messages me a day before Leo's appointment to remind me of it. I really do feel that she goes above and beyond for both her human and her furry clients. Priyanka was a terrific care giver & host for our dog, Daisy. She was super thoughtful and thorough with her daily pictures & updates. Daisy has alot of energy and she had so much patience with her and made sure she had lots of outdoor playtime. We also had her groomed during her stay and she looked fantastic when we picked her up. We’ve used her services 2x now and already booked for a 3rd stay and additional grooming!

Pyrankia is a true professional. I haven’t been pleased with a groomer for a few years but she does not disappoint. Our fur baby is always excited when we pull up and I love that she doesn’t have to be dropped off and left all day. Her services are one in, one out. Very nice for anyone who doesn’t like leaving your pet all day for no reason.

I highly recommend Priyanka, my dog is very anxious when it comes to get his nails trimmed. Priyanka takes her time and lets him calm down during the procedure. The first time I took him to Priyanka for a nail trim, it took 1 hour for 2 paws. Now we get all paws done in half the time.

Our senior dog, Gidget has had her bouts with other groomers and to the point that she doesn’t trust people who don’t have the patience to work with her. Priyanka is simply an angel and is SO NICE to animals and humans alike. Priyanka was wonderful with my kitty. He’s a long-haired boy, and had never been to a groomer. Brushing and trimming his nails was getting difficult! I was so nervous for his well-being and safety but he really needed a good grooming. After calling several places, I talked with Priyanka at A Trusted Friend, and knew she would be purrrrfect for Sunny’s first experience! I loved that I was allowed to be in the room the whole time, knowing he was in good hands, and making the hour drive there totally worth it. I can’t help but share our success story and make a recommendation.We have a 2-year-old labradoodle that has developed severe anxiety with grooming. Our regularly groomer worked out of her house and that is the setting she knew for the first 18 months of her life. Unfortunately, she moved and we were left to find someone new. After 6 months and three failed attempts, our pup was in desperate need of a beauty parlor experience! We found Priyanka on Nextdoor and gave her a call. She practically worked a miracle! Her home is a luxury hotel and spa for dogs! She is a master at working with stressed-out pets, doesn’t cage/kennel, and caters her care to the animal she is working with. The groom is wonderful and her charge was very reasonable. The anti-stress environment, complete with soothing smells, treats, and music, almost enticed me to ask if she works on humans. We can’t recommend her more.

Drove about and hour and 25 minutes to check them out and we have a big dog with bad anxiety they were very professional and organized great with dogs! My dog won’t let the vet clip his nails for anything and she had no problem clipping all of his nails made him feel very comfortable almost had to drag him out of there because he had so much fun with all of the other dogs .if your looking to drop your dog off for a wash or groom I would definitely go here your dog will leave happier then going to any pet store for a wash

She did such a wonderful job grooming my dog. My dog is 13 years old and has cancer and suffers from anxiety when getting groomed. She did amazing with my dog, was very patient and kind, took her time, and sent me updates throughout the day. I would absolutely recommend her as a groomer for your dog especially if you have a dog that is a bit more anxious.
