Home Depo majorly dropped the ball on my flooring order and install and then refused to take responsibility for the matter. I spent thousands and they offered me $250 as settlement when I’ll have to reinstall the floor AND buy new material. Poor customer service. After threatening to take them to small claims court they offered to do a full install the way we initially wanted it and pay for everything. They finally did make it right but it took nearly six months.

Two employees were very professional and helpful today. Nathan is from Springfield MO. He cut off 5 - 2x4's that were 10 ft long so we could fit them in our SUV.Sam has been at this Home Depot for 23 years. Sam cut a 8ft sheet of plywood into 4 pieces so we could get them in our SUV.Both of these guys were so helpful and we will continue to drive to Home Depot from Miami OK for our home improvement needs !!!

Twice I have ordered 550 sheets of drywall, twice they didnt come. Both times I have had a telehandler mobilized on site just for the job. Home Depot's lack of communication has cost me thousands. They refuse any accountability for it. Save yourself the effort and use a real home improvement store.

Guys...Watch out for the drivers delivering.I can drive in a 35 ft trailer, and in 3 steps,Make it perfectly around my drive way.These guys took 24... and grass was driven on. A deep ruts from cranking the wheels.I showed exactly how to do it. And the guy was like na I got this.... and well, he didn't got that..Lol. 24 turns fellas. 24.Me hauling 2 bobcats.. 3 point turn.Them driving a box truck. To deliver my washer and dryer.. 24..So just be aware.It was a temco truck.

do not use delivery with Home Depot. in Joplin. Joplin will send your orders to Pittsburgh for them to fulfill the order. There trucks break down and the forklift breakdown. you can’t rely on them.

Older guy with glasses working in the paint department was extremely rude. Told me he didn’t have time to help me find what I was looking for. I waited patiently for him to finish up with his customer before I proceeded to ask for assistance.

I get 96 gallon trash bags for my Large City supplied trash can. I put my lawn mower grass trimming in the bag... I don't mulch the grass because that becomes Thatch, and is not good for the ground. I looked around town and only found the 96 gallons at Home Depot... Very very good.. These are nice and thick, and are black...

We went in twice to buy a refrigerator. No help was was in that area either time. Definitely seems to be understaffed. The second time, we asked someone near there and they sent us help. I wanted a black, or partially black 33' refrigerator with an ice maker. There was a GE that had a sign that it also came in black, so I asked if they had any of the black 33" with ice maker GE in stock or something similar that they could get soon. He said, they had no black ones in stock with ice makers. Elton, began doing an internet search. He wasn't finding any. After several minutes, I asked again specifically about the GE, so he looked. There was one in transit somewhere. We need to get our money back from Metro for the one we ordered in June! They are trying to find us another one also. Once that is done, if they don't find one, we will return & see if that GE is available. I realize you don't sell as many refrigerators as you do like paint, but it is an expensive item. I would think at least one person would be in the appliance & kitchen cabinetry area at all times.

Bought a Werner ladder. Drove 30 minutes to the job site, pulled it out and it was twisted on the bottom feet. Drove back, was going to exchange for the exact same one, but it was mangled on the shelf. They comped me a $140.00 ladder for the price of my original. I saved $60.00. Pretty sweet deal. Great customer service.

Home Depot of Joplin has been great to shop at this year. I recently had several experiences there that were excellent! I want to give my thanks to Bill (Manager of the store) when speaking with was intelligent, passionate about the quality of his people and store plus customers. He was humble, but enthusiastic about making his customers experience to be great and the stores safety to be excellent. Beverly is a sharp, friendly, can do person who is quick to solve problems and treat you like gold. Lisa is amazing at listening in a friendly manner and I feel quickly tries and succeeds in getting you the help you need. I am sincerely impressed with the attitude of helpfulness of this store! Thank you Home Depot of Joplin!

Very friendly employees. The problem is that they all seem to congregate in the front of the store. I have been remodeling my house and have went there many times in the past month and I ALWAYS have to go to the front of the store to get help if I need it. The electrical and plumbing selection is poor compared to Lowe's. Good service when you can find it for the most part. Need to update the easy find display for moulding. I needed the E33 white trim board but couldn't find it.

Looked more like a warehouse. Boxes and crates everywhere, between "construction beeps" loud music it was not really a great experience but we did find what we needed

I shop there all the time and have brought my dog with me several times. Most of the employees are great people. But today I went in and had a question about a product and the woman refused to even talk to me. She talked to me through another customer because like I said she would not even acknowledge me.she didn’t seem to be scared of the dog because she walked right by me. She just refused service. Needless to say i went to lowes and bought my materials.

drove from another state to purchase because they had log splitter in stock. Purchased over phone during week. i got promotional rate on home depot card. picked up on Saturday. very happy with everything except they wouldn’t accept my tax exemption. A+++

Always has what I need., That was before today August 1st 2022 I saw an item on the shelf it said it was new and I thought oh well I'll buy two of them see how good they work. I go up to the counter and if I can post a picture I'll show you what the price said above the item below the item and to the left of the item, needless to say did I get a shock because the price on the item was $19.99 I wouldn't have caught this but that was the only two items that I had let me see if I can bring up the picture, what I do know is the cashier had the supervisor come over I even showed them the picture and a much my surprise they didn't even honor their price that they had on the shelf they said it was the wrong numbers on the sticker. So I guess it's okay that they can mislead their customers I used to give them a four-star rating not anymore and all I can say is I'm glad there's more than one store to be able to shop, I can say I am a very dissatisfied customer and to think I have shopped at that store for 20 + years.

I'm always able to find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price and in stock at Home Depot. I've never had a problem returning anything I had a problem with. Employees are always friendly and willing to help with anything I need assistance with. This is my to-go DIY store.

Just a store with mostly clowns and monkeys working. They hang up on you when they don’t want to answer questions on the phone and sell items from under you. Management needs to get their employees all on the same page and educated about popular “hot” items so I’m not hearing different things from different people.

Easy to find and large parking lot. Clean lumber yard. With large inventory. Friendly and helpful staff. Adding a new deck. They gave me a great price on all the supplies, that I will be needing. My last two visits were problematic. Visit one occurred while they were apparently in the middle of inventory. Inventory tags placed directly over every item's shelf placard. No visibility of item description or price. Makes it awfully hard to give them money. Informed a floor worker and checkout worker. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Customer service fail. Visit two: I was behind a gentleman that bought about $2k of tools in one go. When it was my turn, I stood and watched what could only be a manager scooping all the big bills out of the till. No acknowledgement of the person standing and waiting. No "we'll be right with you." I just as well have not even existed. There was nobody in line behind me. This could have waited OR maybe even say just a sec. Something. Very very basic customer service fail here. FYI your main competitor is literally across the street. Never been treated that way there... D overall.

Found most of what we needed. There was a lack of employees on the floor to answer questions this trip. The lady out in the garden center was rude to my husband who was asking for a price check on a plant that wasn't marked anywhere. It's pretty pricey. But they usually have what I need. The restrooms were out of order. Went thru the self checkout which is a pretty easy process. Plenty of free parking. There were a couple mobility shopping carts at the entrance.

So this was a weird experience, wife and i rented a truck for a road trip, I had enough between my account and my Dad home depot card was going to loan me money from his Home depot card to take care of what i was doing, Road trip, Covid hit and the trip was weird to say the least. got back and they would not accept my form of payment because they can only use one form of payment as a transaction, i still owe them the money, it was like 2,000. Just weird that they couldnt accept the funds as i had them to pay! Service has always been great at this store, i quit doing much business here cause i feel guilty i owe them the whole amount and cant shell it out at once,
