I have been using this store for years and I have never had a dead fish. I have bought from them multiple times. I always keep my receipt though, it is helpful to know if something happens they will give you a new fish. Also they don’t always share the creatures they have hiding behind that aquarium wall! If you are looking for something specific and you know your stuff, they let you in on what’s hiding because what’s in the display isn’t everything they have! Shhhhh. It’s really hard on weekends to get someone to help so I recommend going on a weekday. Also I just signed up with them online and found out that if you order your dog or cat food for four months at a time you save a ton of money and they ship directly to your door! Then I take my points in store and save even more money!#update :Amazing I now have 17 tetra in 2 large tanks, a dinosaur pleco, a Cory catfish named sully, and six very happy mystery snails, making nests in my smaller tank. All I wish is that they would get a larger much cheaper plant selection! No one around here sells pond/underwater live plants. I keep everything here in freshwater! We now wait to see what colors our babies will be🙏 still no fatalities!

We were in store to purchase some tropical fish for our grandkids. Knowing nothing about fish and which ones could be together, we needed some help picking them out. The young lady that assisted us was very knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. She help us pick out 5 fish the kids absolutely love.

Always understaffed, never helpful. Employee Micheal was extremely rude and failed miserably in the customer service department. Pet Smart as a whole i highly recommend. Just not the Joplin, Mo store.

I always have a great experience at Petsmart with the grooming salon with my Maltese Ollie always looks great with his haircut looks amazing. Thanks Michael. Ollie’s groomer is the best. Petsmart is a good place for everything. For pets

Very shorthanded. Employees didn't care how long the line was. The had 1 checker the last 2 times I was in there. There 3rd time I went and found someone. There were 5 of us that he checked us out or we were going to leave our items and go somewhere else. This store is a mess. I'm sorry too.

I just naturally feel it.To me it's always been a good helpful store when you need it they have classes and all kinds of things.I just hope they don't sell live snake food, OMG you know what I mean .To sell one animal for another one to strike dead or squeezing. OUCH & YUMMY..

We bought some really nice clippers for our Australian Shepherd, and have never had a problem. The staff is always nice, but there overall prices are too high. If you have the time and don't need the item immediately, you can definitely find it online for much cheaper

Lousy service. Went in to get fish for the wife's new tank. There was a line of people waiting. We waited over 45 min. The employee wasn't helping people in order. He seemed to assist people he knew. Some were only waiting for a few minutes. Bypassing several others that had been waiting longer than us. He was advised that others had been waiting longer and he just shrugged his shoulders. Most of us just left our carts full of items and walked out.

Has what you need for your pet but they are expensive. Not a place I would shop for my dog food since prices are alot higher then just going on chewy or Amazon. Hit or miss with employees. Some are just rude and others are helpful.
