Policy to not refund money when over fueling your vehicles. This policy needs to be updated or else your company continues to steal from your customers. It is SUPER easy to calculate how much is owed for the difference.. you do it when there is less gas!Add a Note

The general manager was a great guy and very helpful, straight up. Really liked him.Be warned: The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the trailer I rented had to be returned to the Jefferson City location, and that caught me off guard when I went to pick it up. Because I had to have the trailer to meet obligations, I had no choice but to rent it for several more days to ensure I could get it back to Jeff City. In all my other dealings with U-Haul I was able to return the vehicle to any U-Haul location.

Terrible customer service! It starts from the owner and down. Disgusting treatment with loyal customers. I have been using the storage for 11 months and unfortunately I have no choice at this point, but I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Good selection of packing boxes stuff for moving.I stop by for the green shrink wrap roll. Great for securing all sorts of items at home or for the move.

Vehicle was clean. Returned vehicle at just over 3/4 a tank. I was charged 8.70 for 2 gallons of gas. When I picked up the uhaul it was on 3/4 a tank as per my husbands rental contract. When I called to ask about the extra charge the worker told me that's not true. Always take photos for proof when you drop off. I will not be using this facility again.

This place pretty much covers all your needs. The gentleman who checked me in on my return was awesome. Would have given 5 stars but the dog hair on the passenger seat and the lady who checked me in wasn't the friendliest.

I always have a good experience when renting here. The vehicles are old, and look like they could use work. But I've used them a few different times even once to drive several hundred miles and I haven't been failed so far. The other reviews discussing wait times is definitely not false, I have waited upwards of 30 minutes here but I understand overstaffing would probably be a waste of money.

Rented a pull behind trailer and it was a very easy experience picking it up. Dude behind the counter made it easy and fast. He hooked up the hitch and lights and I was on my way. It was much better than dealing with the app. This doesnt reflect this location but when I was trying to drop off my U Haul the app was down and so I was stuck out in the dark in some random location waiting fornit to work.

I have been dealing with this location since before it became a u haul property and Pamela Gentry has always been amazing! The new general manager, Dominique Maxwell, is one of the most unprofessional and rude people I’ve ever dealt with. He exhibited very unwelcoming and unfriendly body language and made rude comments throughout the process getting everything setup.

The u-haul in Jefferson City Missouri is a real rip off and I never plan on ever spent another dime of my money with them again. They stole money from me they double charge me and they give me a piece of paper I guess it was a receipt n the keys and they never said on the paper this is where the gas hand is at n when I return the truck I pull up to the gas pump and fill the truck all the way so I go inside the store n show them my receipt and the lady said you was only supposed to fill the truck up to this point so I said can you refund my money she screamed at me saying No that's not our policy n rent the truck to the next person in line, n I watch them drive off on my gas. I was so hated n 😡😡😡😡😡😡 mad

Outstanding!!! Car hauler tire had a baseball size knot that wasn't picked up on prior return inspection. I noticed it. D-Mac got it changed and rolling by doing it himself instead of waiting for help. Really helped with my schedule.

We went there today to get prices and a blonde female was moving a van outside. She opened the door, stood in the doorway and said, "what do you need?". When I replied "prices" she rudely said, "on what".She is the rudest person that I have ever encountered.We will take our business elsewhere.

We went in and rented a van for a local move, to pick up some items we found on the Facebook Marketplace. We received a really nice new Ford Transit Van which got the job done with surprisingly good fuel mileage. It was clean and comfortable to drive, and management there did a fine job of going over things with us. This is our second rental from this location, and they did it right.

Well I booked my reservation on the 10th of January, I spoke with a associate named Ryan Nelson, I booked a 20 foot truck and was concerned it wasnt going to be big enough so I asked Ryan what the difference would be if I were to get a bigger truck so I wouldnt be surprised by anything, he told me that they would not charge me any extra if we needed a larger truck. Well I needed the larger truck went to pick up today and they DOD not honor that guarantee. I filed a complaint with corporate and am waiting on the transcripts which will prove that Ryan said what he said that I would not be charged any extra. They do not offer any veteran discounts and they do not live up to what they say. That being said I'm waiting on the transcripts to arrive which takes 72 hours and I dont know if I will be refunded any of the extra money I wasn't supposed to he charged. Do not trust this place they will screw you over!

Frustrating experience trying to turn a trailer in and check into my reserved storage unit. Internet was down so not their fault but was under a deadline. Wasn't offered any help or temporary solution to help and forced to look at other places nearby. Found a much nicer experience at Pro Storage down the road so I'd suggest looking there first.

Our moving van was not ready at our scheduled pick up time. They had the address of where we were moving from and to wrong in their system. They had reserved us a storage unit in the wrong city. Employees were nice but a lot of mistakes were made.

Dont go here unless you want to be yelled at by the lady there from the moment you say "Hi, I'm interested in renting a U-haul" She was the rudest person I've encountered in a professional place. I went elsewhere!!! And I never fill these things out--so she was really that hateful of a person. 🙁

Went in this morning 10/16/2019 to rent a truck and no one was available to help me. Stood for approximately 10 minutes no one appeared. Tried calling the listed phone number and it had been transferred over to someone’s personal number which of course went to voice mail. There are 2 people’s vehicles out in the parking area so I know someone is here. Poor service.

I rented a storage unit from this location. They require that renters buy a specific lock from uhaul, and if a different lock is used it will be cut off. I bought the lock and put all my stuff in the unit and discovered that the sliding bolt mechanism was bent and damaged, like a previous lock had been torn off by force. This prevents the lock from easily coming on and off during warm weather (requires wd-40 or a hammer) and is impossibly stuck in cold weather. The staff will not fix the deadbolt nor will they assist with removing the lock for me. So now with the weather turned cold, I cannot access my belongings without cutting the lock off, which requires me to buy a new lock from uhaul every time I access my unit. Absolutely terrible customer sevice.

Staff was great. Smooth ride truck wasn't very smooth but it did the job. The self check in online didn't work completely for me.
