I NEVER leave reviews for anything. I have text message notifications set up to tell me when my prescription is ready.. several times I have come in to pick up those prescriptions and they have told me that they can't find it or that they no longer had it ready. This is the last straw, I just went in after receiving a text saying my script was ready. It had been less than 4 days. They couldn't find it, then when they said "I'll just refill it" I sat down to wait for it. 40 minutes later I go to the counter to check on the status they said that they are waiting on the shipment and that they could give me a partial script until it came in. This is after they 1. Said it was ready for pickup, 2. Said they would fill it, 3. I had been waiting for it for 40 minutes.At this point I'm already steaming. Then the "partial fill" is 4 pills. 😡I'm taking my services elsewhere. You guys need more competent staff and better organization.

There is no management system in place. Every time there is a different excuse for not having your RX ready. There is no professional staff. Their system sends every RX out of the store to fill. They do not let customers know that information. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes.

I had a Rx (pain med) called into this pharmacy yesterday 12-8-23, following hand surgery. I went to pharmacy this am at 10:40 to pick it up. Rx was not only not ready, but not started. I waiting 40 minutes, asked again and was told it would be 30-45 minutes before ready. By this time my pain level was so high I could no longer sit there to wait. I left for home to try over the counter medication to take the edge off. If I am able to pick up my Rx and will not have another called to this pharmacy.

I almost never leave negative reviews, but had to relay my thoughts on our recent (and last) visit. Appallingly poor service. My wife and I went in for a 10:30am vaccination appointment. After an hour, we were still waiting. We asked for an ETA and were told "maybe another 10 minutes?" Well, they initially told us we'd have to wait 20 minutes when we first got there and we had already tripled that at that point. So you'll have to excuse us if we don't place a lot of stock in your interpretation of how time works. The grocery store itself is great. Having such an utter failure of a pharmacy tied to it is an embarrassment. Do better Hy-Vee.

Id give zero but that's not an option. For the last 3yrs i have had my prescription filled at HyVee due to the GoodRx price they have. Well for 3yrs i have had to deal with deal with my order not being ready not only by on time but by days at a time which is not good for an epileptic who only has granmal seizures. Now that i have insurance i wont be returning for anything

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with but unfortunately I can't go anywhere else because of the cost of my medicine. I will call and ask them if my medicine is ready and they will say it is or will be in an hour I show up 5 hours later and it's still not ready. Whenever you live 25-30 minutes away it's kind of an inconvenience when you pull up and they tell you it won't be ready for another hour whenever I called and they said it would be ready at noon and now it's 5 o'clock this happens every single time.

I've used this pharmacy for over a year and had nothing but problems with them.Multiple instances of rude staff at the front counter, them complaining about being short staffed- yet having staff in the back laughing and having personal conversations while one or two employees are scrambling to help everyone, they tried to tell me my son's insurance wasn't active and asked me to pay full cost for a med. When I asked them to run the insurance again, or call, they told me they already did. So, I called my son's insurance, got back in line, and had a rep talk to them and they finally ran his med through my insurance (imagine that, it was active and I saved over $200 by doing their job and reaching out to insurance.)Recently, my doctor sent a med in, asked if I had picked it up or heard from the pharmacy. I called, because I hadn't heard anything either, and the lady I spoke with had an attitude, said my medicine was on backorder, and when I asked if they had relayed that information to the referring doctor, she said 'no' and disconnected the call. I'm officially done dealing with the horrible customer service here & wouldn't recommend anyone to use this pharmacy.

Sent in a RX on Friday because I was out of town and this place was open ok Sunday. Showed up and the script was not ready and the pharmacy assistant was very rude about it. Told me they will fill it and for me to wait. I then asked if they had my insurance on file and she seemed very annoyed I mentioned it. She ran some sort of "verification" check that said I was not under any insurance any where. When I told her just to cancel the whole script then her and several employees in the back were visibly annoyed like I'm just supposed to pay for these meds full price and that I'm supposed to deal with them all being annoyed and aggressive. No thank you. The whole team needs to learn some lessons on customer service. Felt like I was at a McDonald's.

They should institute a change in their voicemail that says, "We are sorry but we are unable to fill your prescription today!" Do not allow voicemail to be left if they are not going to check it. I understand being understaffed, but perpetually being unable to fill prescriptions is just saddening! Cap your # of prescriptions and keep your customers happy rather than frustrated because they have to wait 2 hours after they had called in 2 hours prior to that! Next, if you are not going to answer your phone, offer to transfer to another pharmacy...how does another pharmacy contact you if you will not pick up your phone!

Went to urgent care and was diagnosed with covid. Doctor sent a prescription to Gerbes without asking what pharmacy. I asked if she would send one to Hyvee asnit was closer and she said yes. I went to hyvee and was told the script would be ready in 45 minutes so I left. Not feeling well and being covid positive, I didn't think it would be safe for me to wait inside the store. I came back almost 2 hours later and was told the script was still not ready. I asked for a time frame and the worker got another worker who tried to say there was no excuse and then proceeded to provide excuses. I asked if it could be switched to a different pharmacy. I was told to wait. This time a female pharmacist was brought over who then tells me something different that the pharmacy didn't even have that medicine and supposedly called multiple other pharmacies in town and no one had it. This was surprising because during this conversation I received a text from Gerbes saying I had a script ready. Not sure if I was lied to or if the hyvee pharmacist just didn't call Gerbes. A little disappointed.

Never have your script on time! People have lives/schedules, and for them to consistently say itll be 30min. To get it filled is absolutely Terrible. Dont tell me its ready at noon i show up at 1:00 and now i have to wait 30. Min.

I have to deal with many different pharmacies. All I have to say is whoever I talked with today has got to be the rudest and most unhappy individual I have spoken with in quite some time. Lady, I hope you have a better day. By looking at these prior reviews, it seems unlikely.

I waited 1.5 hours to get a flu shot this afternoon/evening... It appeared that my vaccine consent form/insurance card was misplaced, therefore no one called my name. After the mistake was realized, I had a flu shot within minutes. I understand that it's a busy time of year for pharmacies, especially with COVID and the flu.. But when your error negatively impacts my life, then we have a problem.. Do better!

I had an emergency refill called in to the pharmacy because my mail order refills were delayed and there was no indication of when they would be arriving. The pharmacy dismissed the prescription order because it was "too early for a refill" without calling me to let me know. I showed up at the end of the day to pick up the refill and after explaining why the refill was ordered early was told that they didn't have it in stock and would have to get it the following day. If they had communicated with me about the refill then I would have had my medication on time.

Prescriptions never ready when arrive despite being called in days in advance, then have to wait 45-90 minutes! Don’t waste your time with them! Even spoke with the head pharmacist who personally vowed to do better so gave them a 2nd chance and immediately regretted it.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I’m really sorry you guys have to work on a day with such bad weather. I really am. But I too have to work. And I need my prescription urgently or else I would not be getting out in this weather and leaving work to do so. Maybe you should speak to your supervisors as to why you are open instead of treating your customers with disrespect.

Pretty awful. Folks are generally polite, but they are so short staffed it takes an eternity to get a prescription filled. Doesn’t seem to matter what time of day, just expect to wait in line for an hour only to be told your script isn’t ready yet.

Prescriptions are never ready. The last two times I’ve waiting until the next day to pick up my medication and they still say I have to wait 15min so they can get it done. Doesn’t make sense. I will never come back here.

Worst pharmacy on earth. They do everything wrong. Everything. It’s amazing they haven’t been shut down with all the mistakes. Every time I have been there to pick up medication it is wrong or not ready. It’s horrible

Everytime i come to this pharmacy they always lose my meds. A couple times they have actually told me I picked them up and I haven't. I use goodRx and it gives me a discount and they seem to hate I use that app. Because last time I did the woman had my medication in her hand then told me it will be another 30 min before it was ready. But if I paid the 150 I could have it now.

There have been multiple occasions where they tell me it will be ready in 30 mins and I have gone and showed up and waited another 30 mins just in the store. Today was a different instance where it had taken me a couple days to pick up a prescription because I lead a busy life and drive in and out of town so I called ahead of time and asked if they still had it and that I would be coming to pick it up today. Well hours pass and i decided it would be convenient for me to stop by to pick it up before i would have to go to work not knowing when my next opportunity would be to pick it up. Well guess what, i guess they had done nothing about my prescription and failed to communicate with one another because when i showed up they had put my prescription back an hour after i called and told them i would be there today and then continued to tell me it would be another 10-15 mins....let's just say i had to leave and go to work and will no longer have my pharmacy through here.

Consistently disappointed by Hyvee pharmacy.Provider called in an Rx for my son, antibiotics. Provider then called me to notify me it had been sent. I went to Hyvee to pickup, nope, they don't have any record of it being called in. Even after "double checking." Went home, on the other side of town. Got a call later that night from Hyvee, oops, we do have that Rx. No apologies, just a notification. Drove to Hyvee this morning to pickup, hadn't been mixed and wasn't ready for pickup. I'm over it. Switching our family out of the Hyvee pharmacy. See you soon, Tolsons.

Pharmacy called our prescription in to our insurance and used the wrong group number, so the prescription was rejected by our insurance. Hy-vee pharmacy said they couldn't do anything about it. Now they wont answer their phone, so we can't get a resolution. They used an electronic prescription from their own urgent care so we can't even get it filled somewhere else.

I have gotten there a few times maybe 5 minutes before closing. And they say they are already closed. If they close at 4:30. They should take customers until then. I live 10 miles from there. And have to go back.
