Wow! Until a few days ago, I had only ever been here on the dollar days. (My nine-year-old LOVES dollar days!) I was never really impressed with what he got, but he enjoyed it, so I took him. But, wow... I visited the store earlier this week, and it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference. I believe we were there on the $4 day. I was blown away at the things I snagged for 4 freakin dollars. I'll be at the store tomorrow to check out the $7 day! Super cool place, great quality, and nice staff!! I used to work for Jean and Carey. I'm so happy to see the store thriving. ❤️

Just stopped in to see what changed since they redid the place.Still a lot of bins of stuff, still cheap, but you have to examine carefully; saw a lot of broken and damaged pieces.

We used to go here every week, not for about the last 2 months though. Some of the staff is decent and some of them are rather moody, kinda hit and miss as far as that goes, and the premium priced items are wayyy over priced some of them anyway, probably why they have not gotten rid of alot of premium items , we all know its an Amazon bin store and the kinda of rates loads go for versus the asking prices on somethings is silly. I mean I can't knock them for trying to get big bucks on some stuff but when people see those prices from a place claiming to be a discount store its like a smack in the face and NO BoDY likes a smack in the face so I would say the rule is the same for places they shop. We still go every few weeks but for the most part we don't shop there much anymore. We miss the bag sale days also. Its funny how businesses have great deals when they first open but then those deals you grow to love change or fade away.

So I like HOB. But I'll never for get when they first opened they sold me a bogus phone that was completely unusable. And it was a premium item. I was told I could return with any problem. That same day just a few hours after I purchased it. I called spoke to the owner or daughter of the ones who used to own it. She told me that I was SOL. I had to eat to eat the cost. $110. . ///to HOB owner who responded to this review. 1. The phone was not factory sealed. And 2. i called and went down. Both times I was told there was nothing that could be done. This was after the young lady at the register told me if it didnt work i could return it. I never received a refund or an offer. I was told and i quote " im sorry that the phone doesn't work its not our intention to sell non working things. I would never like to tell a customer sorry you have to eat the cost but.... We are unable to refund your purchase." That is word for word give or take a few words what was said to by the owner/ daughter of owner till unclear. Every business has to take the good with the bad. Own up to it. Dont pass some fake propaganda info to avoid negative feedback. Now ill be more then glad to work with you to resolve this and guarentee a revised review about how w business stepped up and fix something. Thats positive.

Yesterday was mine and my husband first time going there they had so many selection and good prices aswell. We got our daughter's birthday gifts from here Yesterday just for $4 when y I u would pay the full price else where. We had a question when we went to check out and the girl at the register was very nice and helpful and told us what we asked for. We are definitely coming back again. My husband asked that we will becoming back the next day.

I LOVE THIS STORE!! Every week are new and exciting things, it's always an amazing treasure hunt and the prices are awesome! I've gotten so many $50-60 items for $7 or under! Complete king size comforter set for $7!! For sure all my Christmas shopping will be done here probably in one trip!! Both my girls had amazing birthdays thanks to this store, abd absolutely love the staff, super friendly and always willing to help! Thanks HOB!!!

The customer service felt very welcoming and personal. I was able to find great decor for my house, health and hygiene items, and pet supplies for really great prices! I enjoy $4 Monday the best. :)

If you love digging through bins to find deals, this is your place! I'm not that person so it didn't appeal to me at all. The store is setup so that the bins are in the middle and the perimeter has the pricer items. I didn't love the place but you can find deals if you're willing to visit often and dig!

The place is falling apart. I used to love it used to be one of my favorite stores now everything is old overpriced they have an awesome Rent-A-Center in great place for tools and nails and stuff like that but as far as the store goes don't go there for clothes don't go there for food don't go there for anything like that, it really should probably just closes its doors if doesn't improve greatly and I hate saying that!! I really really do love that place! Oh good times, for so long!I always will so anyone who is reading this that loves hob or works there, please, I'm not hating on you guys. I hope you would improve the place, your guys roof leaks so bad everywhere in the store when it rains and there's many other improvements that need to be made I remember when Carry B. was there and man it was just amazing I know you guys can do it again come on let's Do-it!!

I was not impressed. Very little "nice items". Most is repeated junk and not worth 7.00? The rate is 7.00 on Saturday. Then 6.00 on Sunday . . and so forth til 1.00.Why not 7.00 then 5.00 then 3.00 then 1.50, etc? Now wondering if the broken junk will fill up tables over a couple months? Who wants to look thru the same junk to see/find any new? Not me.Then there is the issue of no carts. Just huge blue bags. Which you must carry. I happen to need a cart to help me walk. So this is a HUGE issue.

This is a very good place to go on certain days I love the whole concept of the store but I also think that charging $2 more the next day for the same item that you would have bought the day before is a little bit unreasonable especially when the prices go up
