I love the job the groomers do on my two dogs here. They always come home happy and seem to have a good treatment by the staff. The prices are not to bad but it can take a little while to get your dog in here.

We have used their service for approx. a year. Bailey have always did a great job and was always friendly. The owner on the other hand is a different story. Customer loyalty and customer service does not mean a thing to her. She raise her voice to us in front of employees and other customers. The response by this owner obviously took time to construct. However her version is far from what actually transpired. She appears not to own up to any and all mistakes that she makes, but is the first to point her finger and place all blame on the customer. Furthermore we would like to add that if you take the time to read other reviews, you will see a pattern in her responding to negative reviews. That every reviews she states that they have either never been there or it is the customers fault. Not one time will she take responsibility for their mistakes, always pointing the finger and passing blame no different than our government. I am glad that she took the time to respond by writing a novel and giving a false side. This business failed to include the actual facts and there are employees no longer work at this business and spoke to one that informed us of the truth.

So Shed bath is a neat little place to get your furry friends needs taken care of. I have to say that this place is great and they take care of my little dog just fine. I did have an issue with something at this place and the owner did the right thing and contacted us and took care of the issue. THAT RIGHT THERE IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.The owner saw we had an issue, addressed it and we came back. If you have pets this should be the place to take them if you do not have a groomer already. I like to see owners taking care of customer and that's what keeps people coming back. If you have an issue let them know.I love this place, the cats are real cool, and my dog looks nice every time I pick him up. BTW they are moving to a new place in a while (year or so) so you might check to see if they moved yet if you are reading this late.Great service, great owner, nice workers. Check this place out!Your Trustworthy Critic

We moved to jc September 2021 and we needed to find a groomer for our 2 fur babies, beginning of February Yoda and Tica Grace had their first puppy spa day and omg did they just look the cutest and so clean. We appreciate how much patience they had dealing with our babies that we plan on having them back there again.They will be in a weekend dog boarding place the 25th - 27th, so they’ll be groomed there along with the stay, but we definitely would’ve booked them to be boarded at this facility if they offered it so they could be groomed in a known environment.** I will say that because of the noises or whatnot that the dogs (possibly) heard at shed bath & beyond, when I vacuumed the next day neither one of the dogs ran away frantically or acted all weird.(I was thoroughly impressed by their new actions toward a vacuum.)Again, Thank you to the staff for all of your hard work and patience. Sorry I didn’t post this sooner.

I will not be back. I was fairly satisfied with my dog's cut the first 2 times, but they nicked some of his "bumps". He's an aging schnauzer. They all seem to have these. Before the second cut i mentioned this casually. The 3rd visit, I made sure to make a point of this. Apparently, they took this as a cue to seriously harm the dog. He was severely damaged on the largest bump, which was the very one I pointed out when I dropped him off. They also gave him the worst cut, far too short and hunks cut up all over him. He looks horrid and his back is sore. They put some kind of gunk over the area they cut and caused to bleed. Then conveniently said nothing. I had to wait a long time to review this because I am so furious. If you love your dog, stay away.Owner response is an absolute lie. His beard was matted as noted on his report card, which I knew. On drop off, I mentioned the beard and your person commented how well combed his body was!His report card also said his coat was great albeit dry, which I also knew. I use conditioners but he is an older dog. I let him go longer between grooming because since I moved here, I cannot find a groomer who does not make him bleed, plus the fact that it's difficult to get an appointment in JC and I have an odd schedule so I cannot book 2 months in advance. I'm completely furious now. Your response is absolute hogwash. He does not have "scabby skin". He has schnauzer bumps and is seen regularly by a vet. This was not caused by soaking. He is regularly bathed and brushed. This was caused by cutting and plugging it with some kind of glue. Furthermore, no one at your shop has ever "gone over" anything with me at drop off or pickup. At pickup, I get a report card. Nothing more, and only after I pay and tip. Interesting that you must decide on a tip before you see your dog at this place.I do not "move from groomer to groomer". I moved to this area 1 year ago. Before that, he had the same groomer in Camdenton for 9 years. He was 2 when I moved to Camdenton and had 1 groomer before that. I've tried several groomers here, because I haven't found one that doesn't hurt him! Your place had done the least damage and i was trying to work with that and improve communication, hoping for better. Instead, I got much much worse. He's very sore.Dont worry about my dog. Everyone who knows both of us, knows how well cared for he is. He'll be going back to Camdenton to be groomed where he never had to bleed. It's a long way, but we'll go. I love him and it's worth it to take him where care is not just a word they throw around for PR! As to why I did not call? I tried working with your people twice. I mentioned cutting the bumps twice. The last time I made a point of it and we discussed not cutting so close and the largest bumps were pointed out. 3 strikes, you're out.

Shed, bath and beyond did a wonderful job on Harley's hair cut. I love the cute kerchief and he smells wonderful. Accidents happen , I know and Harley got cut under his left leg. This wasn't a small cut and it upset me greatly. Between left messages and phone calls there was a misunderstanding of what happened to Harley. I am pleased that the owner called me back and this issue got resolved.

I took my dog, Teddy, there when Shed, Bath & Beyond first opened at their first location. I now take my dog, Zumi, there for his grooming needs. We have loved the experience with both of our dogs.

I am very unsatisfied with my Cocker Spaniels new cut it looked so unprofessional. First off they told me to pick him up at 2 and it took them an hour after that to get him done. Then his skirt was not blended and one side was cut lower then the other. His head looked like someone had hacked at it with a pair of scissors what should of been a half moon of hair was a mess across his head. Their is no way to fix his head i will have to shave it off. I will be not be taking him back. Very unsatisfied customer!

The groomers were friendly and professional. This was our first visit and it won't be our last. I would highly recommend the de-shed option for anyone that has a pup with thick fur.

I have been coming to Shed, Bath and Beyond for several years now and HAVE never had a bad hair cut day. When they moved up town I was lost for a while. Kept wanting to go out the other way.Frankie (our little yorkie) has been to other groomers because I work on the road and can't always get home in time for her grooming. We have had some horrific cuts that even sent Frankie to the back of the car out of shame and embarrassment. Time and help from the team at Shed bath and Beyond have been so helpful and did not laugh in front of her (Frankie) big help. Have loved being a customer. No. Pups eyes irritated from hair. Came home very thirsty. No need to put in cage from 730 to 300 with no food or water or potty break. Wash after hair cut not before. Things are done backwards and this does affect the animal. Too expensive for small town.
