Stopped in for ammo. The older gentleman in the gun department was great, very helpful. Went to check out, that's when I met "Arri" the most miserable customer service person I have met in a long time. Didn't speak, no eye contact appeared completely annoyed by my presence. I asked how she was and got a pitiful "I'm Ok" after ringing my items up I purposefully stood waiting for her to give me a total. After several seconds of nothing, she looked at me and said you can go ahead, meaning use my credit card. Never at once did she even acknowledge me as a customer. She only bagged half of my items, so I had to ask her if she rang up the other items as I wasn't sure if they were included. I spoke with the manager and told her of the wonderful service from the gentleman in the gun department, but advised her that the, young lady at the cash register "Arri" hated her job. And it was reflecting out towards the customers. Had it not been for the gentleman in the gun department? I would've probably only given one to two stars.

Went in walked around, even clearance items were higher than just about any other store. Selection was poor, layout was crowded and frustrating. All the items I was looking for they either didn't have or was priced $10-30 more than the previous stores I'd been to. Complete waste of time. Just go to Academy or Bass pro it's nicer and cheaper.

Went in to buy my first gun for self defense since I am single and to start hunting and I passed my background but they still wouldn’t let me buy a gun. I will never shop here ever again taking my right and freedom away from me.

They didn't know anything about the guns they sell, and wouldn't even take the trigger lock off of them so you can fully see it. Total waste of my time. Never been treated like that in a gun store! And I have been in alot of them!!

Not open during listed hours. Poor pricing. Ammunition is in a locked case, and they insist you are escorted by an employee to the front to pay for said ammo.Will do business with othet stores that don't treat you like a criminal. I hope the Academy Sports opening this month will be a good replacement.

Was in Jefferson City for business and stopped in to look at some sale items .Huge store and nice selection of merchandise. Was in the store for over 30 minutes and not once had an employee acknowledge me ! Stood in front of a locked display case for twenty minutes . Had two or three employees pass & one even asked me to get out of his way . I did get the stink-eye from the cashier , like I was stealing something, on my way out . It will be a long time before I go back . Hope they will still be in business !

They possess the organization of a dumpster fire. It took an hour for them to find and present a single item from the warehouse. The employees tried their best, I think, but the store seems understaffed.

Was checking out the handguns..very nice selection when I was in there had a Sig P320 Legion full size aluminum frame with the tri cuts on the slide! Very nice firearm,a must have for a SIG FAN

Really nice Dunhams, with a wide variety. They have camping, a large shooting, water sports, sports clothing, basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and golf collections. Pretty much any sport you need, they probably sell something for. And their hunting section is pretty packed with things. Prices are pretty good, and they always seem to be running a really good sale on something.Staff is very helpful and friendly. When you walk in they greet you. Only issue I had was that the online store may not match what’s physically in stock. So if you see something in stock at this store online, it may or may not be here. Common things and sporting equipment are a safe bet. But something specific like a golf club set may not be.

I am amazed at how there is "discount prices" that are 50 percent higher than most other places offering the same items at an affordable price.You MUST be proud of something to price things so high?Is there a reason, when a staff person is asked a simple question ( how hard does this gun kick) that they don't know but has one just like it? 😆How about . . your shelves are bare yet deer season is upon us. Where is your stock?Can't determine when stock will be in? How so?

As long as I don't need assistance with something, my experience isn't too bad, but when I need assistance, you can't find help.My husband wanted some ammo and to look at a shotgun. He found somebody in the department but he had to take a customer and his exchange to the front of the store for checkout. He told my husband he would be right back. We waited another 20 minutes and then just decided to leave because the clerk never came back. That's the problem with this store - not enough help.In fact, there were several men waiting to get ammo when we were there, but waited long enough for the clerk to come back and open the case. Your store lost a lot of business today!

Searched several other stores for football cleats and they had very little stock. Someone told us about Dunham. We called first and the employee took the time to check the shelf for my son's size. We purchased cleats for less than what we normally spend. The employee even made sure we received a discount for our first visit. They have a wide variety of products. You will be sure to find what you need with good prices and helpful service.

Not much selection. What they had was okay. Sales staff were somewhat limited in there knowledge of products. What was extremely impressive was the honesty they showed in acknowledging they didn't know how to answer my questions! I ended up not purchasing what I needed.

Found great winter boots at a decent price then found great jean's for only $10. Had to exchange them for a different size, and the staff was super nice and helpful. Love the store.

Been here few times getting ammo, there were a group of workers chatting in the gun area and was trying to get someone's attention but was getting ignored. Then someone else showed up that one of the workers knew and they immediately stopped talking and started helping him. Not really much of a welcoming atmosphere from that lack of interaction. Definitely lost a customer and would not suggest to others.

The associates are very helpful. They have a lot of merchandise.Their signage is kind of confusing. They have marked down "sale" merchandise with merchandise that has regular tags and the signs say "priced as marked". So the non sale merchandise that is not on sale is the regular price. I asked about the sign and the man at the register simply said "It says 'priced as marked,'" but that is still misleading.I have also always had to wait to checkout every time I make a purchase.

Big selection of stuff! Wish we had a store like this where we live. I was happy to finally see a big selection of sports teams as well. Mostly Missouri of course, but other out of state teams as well. Even had high school teams I believe in the Jefferson City area. Very big store as well.

They seemed to have a great selection! I found what I was looking for (a disc for disc golf) at a great price! And they had a great selection of various discs of differing weights, brands, colors, and such. Very pleased.

The staff is rude I bought a hoverboard from the Jefferson city location the first one I bought I open the box at the store and the charger was missing so I ask to exchange it and the manager did so. I brought that home as a birthday gift when I plugged it in an orange light came on . Then we waited about two hours still no charge on the battery. So I called them the manager hung up on me before we even spoke because I was placed on hold. Finally she got up the courage to talk after five or six tries. Finally today 9/4/20 we exchanged for another one and this also has bad batteries. The manager was rude when I called this as well. Then she hung up on me in closing don't spend your money at Dunham sports you have better chance at quality from a fleamarket.

I went in to look around end up in the gun section. First off I had to search for someone to help me look at the gun walked through a lot of the store before I found someone. Then as soon as I found someone all of the other workers start looking for the certain person. As we walked back towards a guy comes up like someone looking for you the worker was like ok call on the radio and the person on the other ends was coming towards us. The worker I was talking to asked for my driver license so I pulled it out and began to give it to him when the other worker walked up and took my Id out of my hands and look at it. Along with my I’d was carry and conceal license so he looks at me asked me to show him my face so I do and then he hands it to the worker that was helping me I ask if there was a problem because he seen dude helping me and the worker told him he was helping so I didn’t understand what was going on. The worker going to said someone said you smelled like weed. I’m like what y’all is tripping I don’t smell like weed and I took my ids back from the worker and walked out. Dude was very unprofessional at his job and I felt discriminated against because I was black but when dude seen I had my licenses he didn’t have a problem. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE DON’T GO IF YOUR BLACK THEY GOIN TO BE ON YOU FOR NO REASON

Anyone could just walk out with items and I'm not sure anyone would know? When we entered the store people were waiting to check out nobody around. We waited for a while for someone to find our shoe sizes from the back that we needed. Very friendly gentleman helped us with that. Then we had the long wait for someone to finally come to the registers. We were told they were short staffed. Understandably happens but probably not a good idea to leave the check out area unattended so long and so much.

General Manager was highly rude and unprofessional. Went to exchange a gift my daughter received for a birthday gift. Was told by one manager I could exchange with no problem. While looking for new items General Manger Rob Summer approaches and stated “YOU CAN NOT EXCHANGE ANY ITEMS WITH OUT RECEIPT” I informed him I didn’t have a receipt due to the items being a gift. He then stated “WELL GET A GIFT RECEIPT NEXT TIME” i do apologize but I never heard of this before. Ask every one the buys my child a gift for the receipt. He was highly rude and nasty as he spoke with me.

This store has come a long way. Most recently over the last couple months. Perhaps a change of management happened? Not sure, but the staff has gotten friendlier so I can only assume they are happier? Keep it up yall!!!!

Went looking for ammo. Pretty much the same result as other retailers....sigh. However, when they do have some ammo it is priced VERY CLOSELY to pre-pandemic prices. Makes me 😃.

I really like shopping at Dunham's, but recently it's becoming increasingly more difficult to purchase their "barcoded" sale ad items emailed to subscribers. With the items picture and the emailed barcode, at checkout the employees are unable to verify the item on sale, therefore you don't get the sale price. I'm currently reassessing my reasons for shopping Dunham's and items that bring me there.
