We went into the store initially to get chicken supplies, and I had my three small children with me. Going to any store can be stressful with children, but all of the staff was so wonderful! We ended up getting some baby chicks and Mary was so helpful and patient with my kids. She allowed them to come and look while she was putting new chicks away and was telling them about all the different types and what they were good for. It was so memorable and fun for my kids and such a great experience for all of us as a family. And very budget friendly too! We will for sure be going back in the future!

The JC store is set up really nicely. I think they must be very understaffed. The only employee I saw was the cashier and 1 other guy that helped my husband carry out a large bag of corn. I wanted to try on some clothes, but the dressing room doors were pad locked and I couldn't find an associate anywhere. So I hung the clothes back up and left, after my husband checked out.

Dont like the veteran discount offer ONLY if I have a card. Dont get a card unless you RETIRE from the military. 80 percent of veterans dont stay 20 plus years. Need to adapt the program LOWE'S uses.

My second favorite Buchheit (Perryville will always be#1). Very spacious store with a variety of farm supplies. But they have more than farm supplies, so if you need something, there's a decent chance they'll have it. Staff is very friendly.
