There were A LOT of cats here. Considering most cats don’t get along with other cats, I was surprised there wasn’t any fighting, but everything seemed pretty laidback. There were several kids playing with some kittens and the string toys that look like fishing pools. The volunteers were eager to answer questions. The snacks were cheap, and the coffee smelled good. Entry was only $5 per person for a half hour, so if you need something to do with your family on the weekends, this isn’t a bad option.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids playing with the kittens.

Full Disclosure: I volunteer with the group that runs this cafe, however I have also gone on days when I don't volunteer. I am not a paid employee of this group. This location in genuinely one of my favorite places to be.Okay, I think the coffee and snack prices ($3 coffee/cocoa/tea, $1 snacks as of this date) are very reasonable. They also added soda and bottled water per patron requests. I feel like the cafe itself is beautiful. The main cat lounge room has an amazing mural in it. There are chairs, but usually people are sitting on the plush rugs to play with the cats. There are also tables, cat trees, ect. There is free wifi for patrons. I think people usually have the best experience when they reserve ahead of time, sometimes you have a short wait if you haven't made a reservation but I understand why they do it. When the lounge is busy, there are lots of people playing with the cats, so if you have a reservation you get priority entrance. I love that this "business" is actually run by a non profit, everyone there is a volunteer and all funds raised go to either the cafe's bills or vet bills for the animals (who are all available for adoption, by the way.) They have also been adding events like Kitten Yoga, which sound really fun. Last weekend they had kitten trivia where you could win free lounge time. I've seen a lot of families come through with kids, the kids seem to be enjoying themselves. I know my own son enjoys it.

Some of the volunteers are rude and condescending. I believe some only work here to get free lounge time and to hog the cats from patrons, which means that you may not get a chance to play with a cat, especially if the place is busy (which it usually is). I should also mention that they let children run rampant and intimidate the cats, which makes the cats very nervous. Never going back again!

Paid way too much just to let my kids sit near cats. The rules are too restricting to make it worth the visit. Visit the pound with some Starbucks.

I loved all the cats and how knowledgeable the volunteers were. Some of the cats were very downright silly.Parking: Parking can be difficult if they are busy. It is parking on the street in front of the café and in front of other people's homes.Kid-friendliness: Kids are encouraged to visit along with their parents to see about adopting the cats. All the cats are in foster care.
