I absolutely love their lattes. I always receive great customer service. I do wish they could redo their avocado toast recipe. The mix they use is terrible and I couldn’t eat more than a bite of it. Also wish they had a drive through just for personal preference with having to drag kids out and what not but, the atmosphere is great for when I get to sit and do my school work.

I've had some nice experiences here- it's adorable inside, and the desserts are always tasty. Great quiche as well! I did have a negative experience the last time I went last spring. There were about five tables full of people, but when I went to the register, they said they were closed and turned us away. I understand if they were closing, but there were still tables they weren't asking to leave. I feel they could have offered us a coffee or tea to go, since they seemed to be waiting for the tables to empty before they could leave.

I have been going to the ground about almost every Saturday for a year and I am always happy with the coffee and service. Their team comes up with creative seasonal coffees and they are delicious. This is the easiest review I have ever written. I will give you contrasting examples. You walk in and ask for your coffee and quiche and would like it a certain way, at Groundabout they are small and personable, you can be involved in the barrista process, or add or change something and the person who is authorized to decide about the change is right there. This is not exactly the case at a place where the business model is cast iron and set by suits in a corporate office.The coffee and many treats are delicious, reasonable, and quick.

Usually super great staff. Super close to school so it's nice to go there after school lets out with friends and study for our harder classes. I love all of their tea, coffee, and frappes. Their smoothies are awesome too. Don't have any pictures right now, but it's small and cozy and I love it.

This is a wonderful place to enjoy a traditional latte or specialty coffee. Warm, inviting atmosphere, with seating available for meeting friends, prayer group, hosting a small work meetup or just sit down with a book or laptop alone. WiFi is available. They have delicious treats as well as a wide variety menu. The beans are roasted in house and drinks are consistently awesome! Staff is the BEST and even welcoming to my service animal!

It was a wacky Wednesday, and me and my friend Lizzy B went for coffee! Typically I am one to get a iced vanilla blonde latte, not today! I felt called to order a matcha latte! Now a fun fact about me is I hate matcha! But I tried theirs and I was left speechless! I enjoyed matcha for the first time! It was perfect:) The ambiance was pretty good we sat at their long table that looks out the window! Since it was 7am the sun was rising but lucky for us their building did not face the sunrise so no beams of light hit us in the eyes as we talked! Great place to go 10/10 would recommend!

Don't get me wrong, every local coffee shop is worth a try. If you're looking for more of a country store or southern comfort feel, this might be what you're looking for. I personally didn't enjoy the coffee, but I may be too particular. The espresso was great, pour over was mediocre, and the sweeter drinks had an odd taste we later decided was the barista's lotion she applied just before installing our lids. I would go back, especially if it were my only option next to Starbucks

If i had option of giving 0 stars i would. The food i got was avocado toast and breakfast bowl for to-go and when I opened the box it was 80% empty and it looked like they made it in an absolutely hurry, since nothing was put together and the bread was so stale to the point it was not edible. The coffee and the drink I ordered was good but very disappointed for the food, this is my first time trying.

A couch in front of a faux-fire in a coffeshop is a rarity in the Cape Girardeau area. The urban-rustic feel of The Ground-A-Bout is one that a discriminating café-hopper might have to travel as far as St Louis to find. For your first visit, you'll want to try the house blend (of course), and even if you're partial to cream-and-sugar, drink it black. Better taste and mouthfeel than any other café in the area. Take your classy date here! Unfortunately, they're not open in the evenings--but they should be.
