This used to be a great place to stop in real quick to get _____.The style of the store remodel makes the space too crowded. The layout of the aisles also makes no sense. The shelves are bare. Nothing is ever faced, it looks like no one is taking care of the shelves.The employees are a mix. They are nice but seem to lack more work ethic beyond the register. Although it is possible they don't have the workforce needed to run the register and stock/face. It is very rare for more than one register to be opened even during peak times.I had an employee explicitly complain to me about an interaction they had with another customer. I did not witness the interaction and was very put off by this. Very unprofessional.

The store appeared clean and had good stock on everything except some cleaning supplies. The only negative was at the checkout area. I didn't want to put my items on the counter as is wasn't clean. The employee barely spoke and when dropped my change on the counter. I don't think I can recommend this store in the late evening. There's a nice parking lot which needed attention. 6-19-2020

It was great. They had everything that I needed to get. I always try to buy my generic Nexium there. And I think the Clover Valley items are good.They have a couple of cookies that are better than their Girl Scout counterparts. The Thin Mint & the Samoa type.

This store is in good shape but I've once had a clerk invite the next person in line to set their things on the counter next to me, which really invaded my space (especially when having to enter my card information more than once). Another clerk told me how much he hated working there and a third clerk that told me how bad his allergies always are and went on and on and then told the next customer the exact same things. I wish I would stop responding with, "I'm great, how are you?"

Decent selection, but prices are higher than any other store for most products. Staff is fairly friendly, but I don't think I've ever had one of them offer to help me find anything in store. The coupon process is also confusing and difficult to read on receipts.

I find myself returning to the Dollar Store occasionally for some random, quick items. It's nothing if not convenient and inexpensive. They have also made a rebranding effort to expand their product range. I give them credit for allowing their company to evolve.

Probably the least friendly worst looking Dollar General I've been to. Shelves were partially stocked, but not well zoned to allow those of short stature or with disabilities to access shelves with any kind of ease.

Still new to the Dollar General world and ways. Defiantly wish I would have been more aware of just how much they did offer before now. Quite an amazing concept and alternative to the mega church of Walmart. Hope at least Dollar General survives Amazon and all their destruction.

Its an ok store. They have a new Mgr now & i noticed that all the shelves that vendors take care of were full & the whole store was faced. Looked good. The 4 rateing is because its tooooo crowed in there. 1 cart only per isle. =/ Most. DG are like that though.

There's always always ALWAYS open merchandise. I have found open poptarts on the floor, broken merchandise all over the store, and even glass. The workers all look and sound like they're ready to die. The prices are pretty good though.

Very unprofessional management I walked in to buy a few things to hear the new manager belittling employees in front of customer this type of behavior should never be tolerated I feel so bad for the employees.

This Dollar General is smaller than the other one out on highway 72 and 34 intersection. It is closer to my home. The manager Shawna does a great job of balancing her job and helping customers. You always feel welcome! I almost always have the items i need. Need to stock up on friskies canned food as it runs out at times. The small space at christmas time is very cramped. This could be a fall hazard. I dont blame manager its just a very old store and not enough space to house all the items you sell. I always know where everything is. Be happy when frozen food prices come WAY DOWN!! They are way overpriced! I do recommend this DG!

Management there is basically non existent and they have the most rude and disrespectful people working there's especially the older woman who always at the register, also why offer online ordering if they always just cancel it.

Warning to all customers using Dollar General in Jackson, Mo. If you select the cash back option at the register a charge of $1.50 will be deducted from the amount that you will be given back from your debit card transaction. Due to an upgrade glitch this charge is not made know to the customer until after they accept the the transaction. And don't try to cancel the transaction for your money back. The Store Manager has not been trained on how to do that.
