Went in shortly before closing tonight and instead of warning us, the cashier screamed:"WE'RE CLOSED"My husband and I put down the stuff we wanted to purchase.I'm a frequent customer here and I would day 1 out of every 3 experiences is a poor one.They have like, two nice people who work here, everyone else is rude, and there is an older lady who loves to chew anyones ear off about ALL of her problems.The store is always a mess, or poorly stocked. They constantly leave carts in the way.Their card reader was down for around a month, and they randomly closed two days before thanksgiving.Don't waste your time here

Corporate really needs to get involved with this store. I don't know if it needs new management or just a new team. Their system is constantly down their store is constantly cluttered and messy the hours are inconsistent. It's always sad when I see a Dollar general struggle like this because in a small community it's so helpful to have a convenience store nearby. Unfortunately the store is just not reliable at all. It needs some major TLC

My daughter got her first job hear. Today makes the 3rd time they haven't opened on time when she was suposed to work. She only works weekends. Suposed to open at 8... we waited till 830 and I just brought her back home. This place is a joke

Is it ever going to open back up? Seems to be closed more often than open anymore, guess I'll have to drive all the way into Jackson yet again for 2 items. Not sure why they can't seem to keep systems working when all the others can!

Staff is nice but they never have enough staff during busy times. Stocking carts are left in isles blocking them. One of my least favorite Dollar General stores to go to but most convenient due to my route home.

Debit card readers have not functioned for weeks. Same with self-checkout. They don’t answer their phone either.

I absolutely love the fact that they have more items available now. however ever since the first day they opened I thought the building was too small and now that they do have more items I have yet to be able to go into the store on any given day at any given time and not have to fight with her being multiple carts out in the aisles. Some aisles you can't get down at all. And with all this I have never seen more than three employees there at anyone given time

The coolers and shelves are always empty. There are carts blocking the aisles. It's a fire hazard. The manager stands outside and smokes or hides in the office instead of working. We have to drive 6 miles to another dollar general store to buy anything. That store is stocked and nice and clean. I will assume it's because it's by the rich subdivisions.They need a new manager in Fruitland.

This is a better store location. Yes, it's low on employees but they handle customer load well. The fact that they have fresh fruit at this location is very nice. Not all do. They are expanding the variety. This is great!

I love having the convenience of this store so close to home, but I now drive to the new one on LaSalle because it doesn't have every isle blocked by inventory carts, so many of them thru out this store that you can't even shop. If staffing is the issue, pull out one cart at a time - empty it and get another one. I counted 3 carts full of broken down boxes one day - why just leave it sit in the way of your customers? Someone needs to do something at this store location!!!

Staff was friendly. But many people waited in line quite a long time in order to to shop there. There was only one cashier available most of the time during my visit . They seemed kind of understaffed. That lies on the shoulders of the company and certainly not on the store workers. Overall, pretty easy shopping trip.

I really dont know what the problem is every time I go there sheif are mt isles sarrting full of products cant get thought them employees out side smoking and on their phones just there yesterday 345pm closed employees causing because they work there so I go to store on highway w and la salle shelf stick great employees so nice find everything I need its great but I have to drive 5 miles one way just to go there because Fruitland store is closed I will never go to Fruitland store again im very disappointed in that store it was great at one time now its always close I realized they get busy at time but close so much cant depend on them I really dont think employees should be cusing because they dont like their job I really think dollar stores are great but Fruitland is hurting you bissness

It's super close to my house, so it's very convenient when we need butter or canned vegetables or something. It's just a normal convince store. Staff are relatively nice.

Jamie does an excellent job, considering the lack of help and the amount of business that goes through that store in a days time! I will be glad if DG ever comes to their senses and changes their way of giving out the same amount of money to a store for payroll, that only sells a small $100.00 dollars/day, versus one like this that could put out a $100.00/hour and the company still expects these poor people to stock the shelves and clean up after the public for the same amount of money that you the other store, has coming in, with very few sales per day with extra people who can go home early, because, their work is done. That seems very unfair to me!

Its so crowded with isles blocked. No carts available because the workers are using them to fill with stuff off the shelves. Its a fire hazard. Nobody could get out if there was a fire. Staff is very rude. Goleman was on one of their name tags. He was very rude.

The isles are so crammed full of stock that needs to be put away that you can't find half of what your looking for.Understaffed is a mild statement.Customers are lined up 6 to 9npeople at a time and one cashier checking them out.

Love that they offer produce. Busy place so often out of items. Staff is friendly and if something is out of stock they can usually tell you when they will have more.

Dollar store is great for all the little piddly stuff you forgot when you were shopping at your favorite store. I ran quick up to $Gen for eggs, milk, cheese and dog food when the weather was getting bad. Nice staff.

It was horrible, the worst store ever. U could not get down any isle, u had to turn around park your buggy and walk to get what you wanted. Racks full to the brim with stock in them . Toys and flowers all over the floor. Almost look like it is overstocked. So so sad.

It's okay. Always dirty. Never neat and clean. Nothing is a dollar you need there. Actually cheaper at Walmart or grocery store. It has become a convenience store. Not cost effective. Staff is nice.

Fruitland DG is ok but very crowded. They have a new mgr and hope he catches it before it looks dumpy. Stock is usually in the isles making navigating even harder. Good products. Milk man takes care of his designated space, that will lend to rotated & fresh product. Some of the shelves > cookies - chips - crackers were full or faced looked nice.

I live a 100 miles from my dad he said he would love a cheeseburger so someone gave me your number cause im currently working day and night getting my pipes fixed in poplar bluff mo. You guys got my daddy his cheeseburger it made mine and his day way to go team! I know I can depend on you! Tjs burgers is responsible for making my dad's day and great burgers guys!!

Always stocked. It's a bit busy because of the location which is conveniently located. Great because no other stores are nearby. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

It's convenient for me to go there since I live close. There are a few times a day where there are long lines. Sometimes the store is messy and sometimes it's not. I don't see the same people working there very long. It works for what I need though.

We visit Dollar General on a regular basis. Great for quick in, quick out stops to pick up some quick essentials. Good selection and prices.
