Always a pleasure to shop here. Very clean and well stocked, produce always looks great and the best meat department. Employees are friendly and helpful. Today was especially great with the holiday digital coupons I was able to save an additional $23 on items I usually buy, including butter, cheese and the 10lb leg quarters at .39/lb! Update, still a great place to shop. Prices are competitive for the area, but most of the sweet staff are not there anymore and the family feel is gone. Meat quality and prices are still the best.

please..please stop making your tomatoes taste like dirty fish. its all the tomatoes. PLEASE stop using fish. ive gotten sick off of your tomatoes for the last time. i love you, pretty please control this it has me ill & im so upset my salad is wasted & all your lettuce & produce had gone bad😭

Great prices and friendly cashiers. This particular store is cleaner than most other save a lots. And while they are doing a lot better about getting new products in, if your looking for something name brand or unusual, chances are you'll have to go somewhere else. Great for your regular weekly grocery shopping.

Have not shopped here in years and decided to try again.The store is VERY clean and well stocked!All of the staff was very friendly, but especially want to compliment the checker Briley!! She was very friendly and sincere to not only my wife and I but everyone who was behind us in line!She should be recognized because in today’s age you don’t find many young people that want to “work” much less seem to enjoy their job!!We will be back!

This is where I do about 98% of my household grocery shopping. You simply cannot beat their prices and they have a great selection of foods. Staff is always super friendly and the store is always clean.

Very clean store shelves always stocked and fronted. The workers are always friendly and ready to help the prices are unbeatable and the produce always fresh the meats look good but I don’t buy meat there. Most all of it is the buy 5 for 20 or25 rip off unless you buy the five you will pay at least a dollar more a pound. That is unacceptable. I would be ashamed of myself if I sold meat like that.

The store appeared to be well maintained, but they've out-priced themselves as far as my budget goes. We got three items that cost us 1.5 hours wages. Things are are expensive everywhere. This is too much for me

My mother and I go here sometimes. They are a great bunch of people always friendly and kind. Love it here. I love the BBQ sandwiches they have there. Get them in the frozen department, take them home, and put them in the microwave for 2 minutes, wait a few seconds (I can't stress that enough) and eat it with or without anything on them and enjoy. Love it

Tim, the store manager always has a smile for his customers and his employees are friendly and helpful. We shop here weekly (sometimes more often). Prices can't be beat, and their off-brand is as good as name brand. Highly recommend.

Place would be fine, except a building one over from it sprays out so much smoke that it covers this entire building. I shouldn't have to leave with a headache and pains in my hurt, just from walking in and out of the store

We always get our groceries here when we are floating the black river. The store is always stocked and very clean. Life hack out on the river….wraps take up less space than sandwiches! 😃

I love Save-A-Lot what can you say their meats really good is Price Right a lot of their brand of products is really good the store is clean just a eggs don't need to be put where they will fall over but they were replaced without a problem thank you and we were on our way

The prices are More reasonable than some of our local grocery stores. Sometimes bear thier meat though is not necessarily the top quality. But, sometimes you can find some really good meat and some unexpected products.

The only other grocery store has prices 50%-300% more than Walmart. Not Sav a lot. Their prices are the same in this small community as they are in a community of millions. Free bags, unlike big city franchises. Excellent prices and super deals. Plus a lot of unadvertised specials. Management is always present, not like the big city where they hide behind closed doors. We are so looking forward to moving from the hustle bustle of a multi million population city to a town of a few thousand and a village within this county of just barely 200. Whether you stop here to shop, or any of the other stores hiding back. In the town's center, you will find a friendly person behind the smile.

I have Always had pride in Tim the owner here and how he runs his store until today. Went in too buy a couple hams for Easter Sunday. They have a large cooler in back of store marked Smithfield hams 1.29 per pound, but it was half full with ozark pride only. Believe me I searched. I went ahead and grabbed two and proceeded to check out. I talked to the cashier about it and he said would not change price and said he called Tim to talk about it. The conversation went same as what he told me and said well they must have ran out earlier and someone didn’t change the price. Well the cooler had at least 40 hams in it so someone deliberately filled it knowing it was wrong brand. This was not my fault and Tim should have done the right thing and took the small loss to compensate for the mistake. But instead he shows more concern for profit lines then maintaining his good name in the community. This will be the last time for me here. There are other options to shop, but I chose to deal with a place I trusted. Guess I have to find a new place. Tim if you actually read this and are in fact who your cashier talked too today, I am very Dissapointed.

Has the best produce in town. Prices are very reasonable and generally the save a lot brands are as good as the name brands. They just started carry ou ng beer and wine, it seems like a hit with Ironton. This is my first go to for my grocery shopping needs in town.
