We made an appointment to go in to see our puppy. We visited with her for a bit and we couldn’t wait to take her home with us. Ladonna was so helpful with what things we needed to get to make our experience with Elsa great for the whole family. She is fitting right in and she is just precious! She is just a little cuddle bunny.

My husband and I had just gone in to look around to see if he liked the place for when we decided to actually look for a puppy. While there we decided to look at some to see if any were a good fit as they were all just so cute. LaDonna was so helpful answering all our questions regarding the process and pricing of the different breeds. She introduced us to our sweet little Apollo who completely stole our hearts, and as my husband thought I caved first and we got him. Apollo is a corgi and LaDonna herself had one and was a great help in picking out appropriate collars, harnesses, toys, food and kennel for a puppy his size and breed. She was great to work with and made the process a breeze and was amazingly helpful.

Went in as a normal let’s go look at the puppies day. Found one he was so cute played with him for a little bit then left. We couldn’t stop thinking about him so we went in the next week and got him. Ladonna was very helpful and could tell us everything we needed to know about him. She even helped me pick out a few things for him. He is a great addition to our family and I thank Petland for making the purchase very smooth.

We had made an appointment for what happened to be a very busy Black Friday, so we were expecting it to be a bit hectic. The overall experience, though a bit long due to the holiday, was great and we appreciate Drake for helping us with the two puppies we were trying to decide between. We are very happy with our newest family member, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and hope to give her the long happy and healthy life she deserves.

The staff were all very nice and knew a lot on the dogs they had there.I would have given 5 stars get a gentleman over the phone tell me one price for the dog that was on sale but then when we got there and got that specific dog and cashed out it was $99 more than what he told me over the phone. The second issue was the nice lady that helped us pick out the dog said that we would get a puppy care kit to go with him for free that had puppy pads, drops that go on the puppy pad so they know that that's where they go, spray that you could put on shoes for furniture if the dog chews on it, and I believe a brush but we never got that. The gentleman that cashes out said that because the dog was on sale we did not get that kit but that would be an additional $100.He's an adorable puppy who has mom totally smitten with him!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Petland Independence store I purchased a Maltipoo puppy for 3400$ which was a bit pricey for me but went ahead with purchase thinking that Petland had the healthiest puppies and it was worth it. Despite providing me with medical documents stating my puppy wasn't neutered, when I scheduled the surgery, it turned out the puppy had already been neutered. This resulted in unnecessary pain and surgery for my puppy due to Petland's mistake. When I reached out to them, they were dismissive, only offering a gift card for their store. It's unacceptable that they're not taking responsibility for their error, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase from Petland after such a negligent experience.I found the offer of a $200 gift card to be unsatisfactory, particularly since it could only be redeemed at the Independence Petaland store and couldn't be used online or at other locations. Despite my inquiries about receiving the value as credit on my Petland credit card or as a check, I was informed that this wasn't possible. This handling of the situation left me feeling disappointed.

Five days in and she is doing great!We took our new miniature poodle pup to our local vet yesterday for her first check-up she is in perfect health! And gosh! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL temperament this little baby has, just so sweet!Thank-you manager Andrew for going above and beyond to help us and to make sure we were satisfied with our purchases. This store was well stocked with high quality pet foods and equipment that really has helped us to get started with our new pup. I lost my dog in October and have felt a piece of my heart missing. Was NOT going to purchase from here but fell in love with her picture. When I met the puppy I just knew she was mine. I adore her. The workers answered all my questions and helped me set everything up. It’s very expensive but I do not regret it, my sweet girl is worth every penny. She had a little respiratory infection but I was not shocked, this is very common in ALL puppies. My experience was very good and was honestly surprised it was so good. Because of my experience, someone fell in love with my puppy and rushed over to get one of the other puppies. The contract is easily understandable.

We went into the mall to get me a pair of shoes and came out with a puppy. The intent was to just look at the puppies but we absolutely fell in love with our dachshund. The staff was so nice and helpful to us especially Logan. He walked us through the entire process and told us everything we needed to know.

We got a 13 wk old basset hound puppy from here. After taking her to the vet, I was horrified. She had ear infections in both ears and was underweight and malnourished. Her ribs were sticking out so badly. It was awful. This place should be shut down. Those poor pups are not fed properly or looked after properly. They have never been outside. If I could give negative stars, I definitely would.

Do not support this horrible business and believe their lies when you could easily go to a shelter and get a dog who needs a loving home went to this location today because I saw it in the mall and as soon as I walked in I was beside myself I work at a vet clinic and anytime our dogs poop or pee in the cages we clean it so why can’t these “responsible high quality breeders” do the same the little golden doodle had poop smeared all in its fur and a lot of the dogs are two to each cage with little space they all looked very lethargic (probably because they eat their own poop due to it not being cleaned up) and they most likely do not get enough water out of those water tanks do these poor puppy’s a favor next time you visit by picking up their loose skin by their neck and see if it falls or stays up if it stays up then that puppy and most likely other puppy’s are dehydrated this place makes me sick they say they want to keep the cages sanitary and safe for their puppy’s but giving them no bedding and not putting an actual water bowl in their cage is just due to laziness I know for a fact one of the workers is going to reply back saying that they were just about to clean up the puppy and the poop but I do not believe that is true we were in the shop for more then ten minutes and it doesn’t not take ten minutes to get around to it plus you could tell the poop had been on that dog and on the bottom of the cage because it was hardening
