Best experience ever! Walked in expecting to have to wait several minutes for help. Nope, no wait, the store was full of employees. Everyone was keeping busy and I asked a nice young lady with a beautiful smile for some help. She was reluctant at first, as I asked for help with a rat. I could immediately see from her smile, she was not a fan of the rats. She accompanied me to the appropriate aisle and she got right to work. The rat had other ideas and the chase was on! Another employee came to her aid and gently grabbed the rat, placed it in the box, and the nice young lady with the beautiful smile began to close the box. Again, the rat had other ideas. The rat jumped from the box, ran up her arm, and perched itself on her left shoulder! I then watched as the young lady, still displaying the beautiful smile, hit the deck as if taking incoming rounds from Pet$m@rt! Her soul left her body, making it's way out the front door and down the street and back in record time! She calmly asked for some help from the other employee and I by exclaiming, "Get it off, Get it off!" She did say please, so I gently removed the rat from her shoulder, and placed it in the box. With the rat completely unharmed, and the young lady with the beautiful smile only slightly shaken, we made our way to the check out counter. The smiles were ear to ear on all our faces. After completing my purchase, I went to check on the young lady with the beautiful smile. She was still smiling and we shared a moment in life together. (It was pretty much just the other employees and I attempting to keep our composure as she relived the event repeatedly.) We shared a hug and I told her I'd be back next week for further entertainment! Awesome attitudes, smiles everywhere, great visit!

DO NOT BUY FISH HERE!!! Would give 0 stars if I could. I bought a betta fish yesterday. I already know they don't take good care of them but wanted to save one. At the store I thought it looked fine but upon bringing it home I spotted fin rot. The fish literally died within an hour of putting it into my tank. Tank tested fine, temperature was fine etc. I called and they said if I bring a water sample they'll refund me. So I brought the water sample and my receipt. The cashier said "do you have the fish?" I answered, no the fish died. She said "yeah we need the fish" I was beyond disgusted and disturbed!! You want me to bring in a dead fish carcass?!! How absolutely horrible. I felt so sorry for it I gave it a proper burial to the sea already. I told her forget it and walked out. What a terrible experience all around! Not only is my new buddy dead but they won't refund me unless I bring in the dead fish remains. Which I was not told I had to do over the phone. Awful company that takes awful care of their animals.

Location is very convenient. Lots of parking and staff is always helpful and fairly knowledgeable. I would personally like to see more of a variety in small pet and reptile items, but overall it is a great store.

I always have a good experience at this location. We recently adopted a cat, originally named Billy, now renamed to Toast, at this location. Every time we come in, the employees remember us and ask about how Toast is doing. They’re always just as excited as we are about how well he is adjusting. We love updating them on how our new family member is doing, and appreciate the genuine care they have for his well being. The food and litter we use is also always in stock at this location, which is very helpful and yet another reason we now choose to go to this location every time. We feed one of the limited ingredient diets of Nulo, along with freeze dried raw from Instinct and Stella & Chewy’s. The nutrition of our kitties is very important to us, so it’s nice to have a reliable place to get kibble, freeze dried raw, wet food, and litter. I don’t remember the names of the two employees/girls who helped us with our adoption, as I would love to give them the recognition in this review! I will update whenever I get their names, but in the meantime, I hope they see this or that their manager sees it.

Just used this store for grooming. I won’t go back. The groomer had the personality oh my a sheet of paper. She acted like she was afraid of my 13 yr old lab mix dog. He’s very gentle and sweet. The cut he got I could have done a better job and have done a better job. He looks terrible for a professional grooming service.Here’s your tip-learn how to groom!

I came in to return an item I purchased. It was very easy and although I couldn't get the money back because it was over 30 days, I was able to get a store credit which works just as well. The store clerk was friendly and helpful.

This is the third time in the past couple of months of this location turning my dog away. This past summer I’ve gotten a textMessage sent to me about Petco Staff boycotting against a manager. At the time, I received the message I had made an appointment for my dog to be serviced . Unfortunately I spoke over with my current manager at the store and he offered for me to head another location for the grooming. This recent weekend I’ve tried to get my dog groom for the third time this year and they were very unprofessional. Stated they didn’t have the proper tools for the netting of her palms. I was highly frustrated and I won’t be returning to this location.

Took my two dogs to get the mini make rover plus. The groomers, Jennifer and Kathleen, decided to hold my two dogs hostage because we didn’t go pay immediately. The two groomers held my little chihuahua in front of my wife while he was trying to get free from her, they also tied my big dog to the wall and wouldn’t let him into the room with my wife while I was at the register paying. We have never experienced this nor been told we couldn’t get our dogs back. We always get them groomed and take them to get a toy. The manager, Tiffany, then tried to argue and tell me I was overreacting because I wanted my dogs back. My wife and I have shopped with this store many times and this will be the last time. This is the worst act of customer service I have ever experienced and corporate will be receiving call.

Uses to be great. Had a shake up in staffing with a strike threat. Now the person who is in charge found out i made a complaint against her and now my dog is mysteriously banned from coming there. Nice revenge groomer. Ill spend my money elsewhere

Wonderful petco to go to if you're buying fish! The girl that works the aquatic area is full of knowledge, we caused a few fish to die when getting them from petland so we went to petco instead and she really explained to us how to take care of them.

So I walked into the Petco grooming area where I spoke with one of the groomers who I had dealt with in the past. Talking about having a bad day! When I asked her about grooming my German Shepherd she flew off the handle and after refusing to assist me told another employee “I haven’t had lunch today!”. Then she ran out of the room. I spoke with the manager about the grooming ladies attitude and the manager said people complained all the time about her. The manager then said this was her last day at the store, primarily because “of employees like her”, referring to the grooming lady. Anyway, I used to go into the Petco location nearly every week but I won’t be going back again. Hope that lady has a better day tomorrow.

Usually has the supplies I need for my many pets which is great, BUT the staff can sometimes be hit and miss with attitude. I’ve interacted with very nice employees, but I’ve experienced some absolutely awful employees of whom have been condescending and rude.

I was at this Petco today and was completely thankful that the staff that was there not only was accommodating and helpful. I not only got great advice about how to deal with my dog whose name is Maizey but I also was signed up to the services offered at Petco by Michelle and a young lady behind the register. I also got info for classes to train my dog. Phenomenal service and I will definitely refer this Petco to friends.

The dog trainer is excellent! She works extremely hard in the store and is very patient. However, each week we go for training she is stuck working at the cash register and we have to wait for her to clean the training area. This is extremely unprofessional, unacceptable and inconsiderate of the customers time.

Petco has grooming services for my dog. I can buy large bags of dog food and the variety of food and toys is great. They also offer discounts on products sold in the store.

We had an incident with our aquarium recently and lost a few fish. Went today to get answers to our problem and their fish expert, Sky, was super helpful and seemed to know her stuff. Hopefully we can fix our problem now and save our one fish we have left.

They came off as very lazy and unintersed when it came to assiting me in adopting a cat. The two ladies didn't even try to provide good customer service, and they knew next to nothing about the cats that were up for adoption. I didn't adopt the cat btw I just went to another location instead.Disgrace to the PetCo brand.

Good selection of items and goodies for the dog and cat. My only issue was that the aquariums and fish seemed very neglected and not cared for. Lots of burnt out lights, missing tags, fish gasping at the surface for air, and several tanks that were either empty or so overgrown with algae that I couldn't see any fish inside. Definitely wouldn't trust the health quality of fish in this condition. I don't know enough about reptiles to judge that part.

Do not take your dog at this location.The staff were so unprofessional and rude with non existing customer service.The grooming department were the most rudest staff out of the whole store, even after waiting for my dog for 5 hours they did not cut my dog’s hair properly and left her with patches! after speaking with the stylist she had informed me that she won’t be able to do anything about it and won’t accept her back due to having other grooming schedules that she has to catch up with.

This petco needs someone maybe from their corporate office to come in and totally redo this store. It is never staffed properly. Shelves are never stocked. I asked an employee if they were going to be stocking the Shelves soon she totally ignored me and kept on walking. I was told by another employee everyone is on edge there. What I went in for there was only 2 left, but this item all of the other flavors have been empty for months. The can food I like to get they haven't had for months either. But if you go to other petco's you are able to get. I am kind of surprised they keep this store open with all of the issues they constantly have. (STAFFING & OBVIOUSLY MANAGEMENT). NOT FOR SURE IF THEY CAN GET IT TOGETHER BEEN GOING ON FOR A LONG TIME!

It says you’re open till eight but all your lights are on. I have pictures of all kinds of different typed or hand written signs on your door that you’re short staffed, so oh you’re closed at four on Saturday. so no recording to let me know that before I drove there when I called and kept getting put on hold and the phone just ringing. So perhaps cheap Petco maybe your team isn’t happy about their work environment I’m not sure but really bad business. The great dinner and went to another establishment with the best service and employees that actually seemed happy and they were properly staffed.

This store smelled the moment I walked in. The fish tanks were infested with invasive snails, brown algae covered the glass. The floor was grimy. I did not see any salesperson. Chalk was written on the sidewalk to warn of social distancing, the store obviously not concerned. One star is too high...I won't be back.

I go to this petco location because the grooming dept ladies are fantastic but one lady stands above and is the turn reasan i drive to the noland road store. Her name is Lela she is always smiling,extea pleasent to deal with as well as knowledgeable she runs a tight ship and is very easy on the eyes. So if you want great service that is above and beyond. Try the petco co on noland road these ladies have vision flair and know what custmer service is all about. Thank you one and all
