Came in on a Saturday afternoon and purchased 2 fish. By Sunday morning both fish were dead (I have other fish doing great). Store is closed on Sundays. I called for 3 days and finally someone answered today, a Wednesday. She would not refund or credit me since it's been more than 48 hours. Told me I should have emailed her. How about you get an answering machine, or better yet answer the phone?! I guess they must really need every penny. Such a shame. We were planning on upgrading our tank. If we do it won't be through this place. And the new fish I bought at Petsmart are thriving!

It's the only place I go for my fish. Fish that I have purchased there have always been healthy. If they don't have it, they will order it for you. I asked for a couple of fish. They had to order. The fish came within a week. They also rescue fish and babysit. You can also buy tanks and fresh or salt water. Very friendly owners and staff. Ready to help you with your fish.

First off, let me say when I showed up I didn’t realize but we showed up there too early and they weren’t open for another 1 and a half but they were so welcoming and had zero issue with my fiancé and I coming in that early to look around. The owners are so passionate and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the time and energy taken with us to answer all of our questions. This is truly the best fish store around. They always have unique stock in fish, so many plant types to chose from, along with a creative collection of aqua scape material. I drive 45 minutes to visit and will continue to drive that far every time bc this is by far the BEST to get all of your fish needs met for affordable rates all while supporting local- win win in my books!!

So after a few years of being in this store at least once a week, I must change my five star to one star.I moved right about the time Shelby sold. My tanks have been up and running since beginning of November so I figured it was a good time to swing by and check out how things were going with the new owners. Not impressed at all!! Store was dirty and dark. Several dead fish on the ground that had obviously been there for quite some time. There was even a razor blade on the floor toward the back of the store. Quite a few of the tanks seemed either in quarantine or something because the lights were off on them. Several of the tanks with the lights on seemed dirtier than usual. Sad sad sad.

Not impressed at all. Very little stock, way too dark, all tanks were filthy and unkept, associates knew very little on how to care for their stock (or any info about stock), and the location I went to smelled strongly of mold. Many of the tanks had no lids so water was sloshing on a carpeted floor. They had male Bettas next to other males which causes them to stress out. There was hardly any stock in food, or plants, other than duckweed which is known to be invasive. Go elsewhere or to a differing location.

Stopped in while traveling too look around met the new owners as I was told extremely nice people very knowledgeable and excited to be doing what they are doing wish I was closer so I could come by more often and be able to get something for my kids awesome people keep up the good work

Came in from out of town checking a few pet stores. This store had extremely friendly staff and a great variety of aquatic stock! They had very fair deals on some equipment too! Looks like they take a lot of care with their animals especially the ones they breed themselves! Will definitely recommend and visit next time!

This place has a really nice selection of aquatic life, and it all is clean and very well taken care of. I watched them feed a blue-spotted sting Ray and a cow fish, super cool. I'd feel safe buying here for my reef.

We came to this store a few months back when we bought our new home that came with a 200g tank. Never owning a tank before we had a lot of questions. The first day we went in was Wednesday when the owner has the night off but we eventually were helped by her parents. I love that it's a family shop and we loved the selection. They got their freshwaters in that day so it just worked out. They had us bring in a sample of our water to test and even came out after hours to look at the tank. We ended up getting about 25 fish over the next few months. Until a couple days ago when our tank sprung a leak. We saved all the fish and had to transport them back. She offered to hold onto them until we got it sealed but to do so was too much for usWe are now going to get a bearded dragon but won't stop stopping by to get our fish fix. Maybe someday we'll get a smaller tank but I appreciate her and all the help she's been. Never knew I could enjoy and come to love my fish so much💗🐡🐠

This place is great they've got such a big selection on saltwater and freshwater fish I'm a beginner as far as having an aquarium goes and they have given me so much advice. I've never had a bad experience with them anytime I go in there to get more water for my aquarium. I think these people are pretty great and it's the only place I go for fish.

Was a little disappointed by this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful but half the tanks had a dead fish or two in them. Or an abundant of algae which made me question the actual health of the fish. I will say they have a good variety of fish but I don’t know how healthy the fish actually are.

I got a few axolotls from here, and they are happy and healthy. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer questions that I had regarding care. Definitely going to be coming back

We just purchased our first home that came with a 200g tank!! Shelby and her family have been beyond amazing helping us newbies with it all! We now have over 20 fish and are in love!!! Now it's our only fish store for any needs. Highly recommended. She checked our levels and even came to our house to look at our tank set up for free! They always care for their fish and it shows. I need more tanks so I can have all da fishhesss!!!

I almost walked out in the first 2 min of talking to the woman and I should have. My request was a simple water test and they couldn't do it properly. They messed up my results. The results they gave me didn't make any sense, so I took the same sample to be tested elsewhere and got completely different results.On top of that over half of their fish were not for sale. Is this a fish store or a display of personal acquisitions?

I was truly blown away by this place! The fish are diverse and seem happy and well taken care of. Every person working was cleaning a tank or feeding a creature while I was there. It ended up walking around and looking at everything for a while before buying any fish. The place was welcoming and the people working were helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to going back.

I love coming here because the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Although, lately I feel like the selection has dramatically gotten worse. I used to come here and get beautiful guppies and have a big selection and last time I went there wasn't really much to pick from. A lot of fish are store tanks only.. so those fish aren't for sale. I just feel like with a better selection I would want to come more frequently...

Tons of livestock, fresh and saltwater. If you are looking for something you can't get anywhere else, shop here before ordering fish or invertebrates online. A turtle pond in the back of the store keeps your family entertained.Family owned and operated.Buy your dry goods elsewhere. That's NOT their forte. They expect dissatisfied Pet-x store customers.

Spent $1000 on a full salt setup. They told me a pump was broken and they would have the replacement for me soon. After several months of calling to find out when the replacement would come in I gave up since no one could give me an answer. It was always "Let me ask Shelby and have them call you". No such call ever came.

People here are very friendly and helpful. I have learned a lot from staff. I enjoy coming in here even when I'm just stressed to check out the different fish. They also have tons of different plants and succulents. She is very reasonable in price on everything and helps support local breeders. This is my go to for fish and plants.

they have great selection here and if they don't have what you want in stock, they will order it for you. They have clean tanks. All the fish I have bought from here have been healthy and of good quality. The employees are very polite and knowledgeable about fishkeeping. there customer support is great and fast you can ask if something is in stock, or if they can order it for you, and they will have an answer for you in under a minute. So overall I only have good things to say about this place.

This place has been amazing with helping me with my fish problems both fresh and saltwater. The staff is very intelligent and informative. I always feel like they are trying to set up me and my tanks for success with their recommendations. I highly recommend them.

Check the hours before you go but they are a great small, independent shop. It might be intimidating. They can get quite busy at times and customer service suffers as a result. I have experienced more than one sales rep of the opposite gender just ignore me completely and move on to other people. Not once or twice but a pattern. When the right people are there I get great help but I don't know the people schedules because I don't work there. I just want to go in and shop and get help and do the things that a fish store does. I think they may have an identity crisis of are they an in-store fish shop or and online or fish cleaning service. One cannot be all things to all people at all times unfortunately but they know their stuff I give them all the credit in the world for that.
