Great location and friendly staff. There is a lot of variety of items here with animal feed, hunting, clothing, electrical equipment, yard care machines and items, electric fencing, yard decoration, animal housing and cages and even automotive care items. The prices are a little higher than other places nearby but their selection is awesome. Also can get plants in the right time of the year, chick's, and even trailers

The prices for decent chicken feed are fantastic.. not to mention they have this awesome section full of old fashioned candies I can't find anywhere else. The employees are extremely kind and helpful from each experience I've had. Wonderful store

It would be a lot better if they would leave the store alone we literally go in there once or twice every week and they continuously keep moving stuff around plus whoever stocks the plumbing supplies needs glasses because half the time the stuff is in the complete wrong thing I'm not talking one or two pieces

Orscheln had good prices, good sales that actually drew me from an hour away to stock up on animal feed. The staff were about the friendliest I've talked to in Houston, and that's saying a lot. The staff is professional, helpful, and when I called ahead to see how much they had in stock, they didn't hesitate to find out. Family owned, also, even tho they did just change owners.

Called to get the price on an item, then drove 40 min to get only to find out they had given me the wrong price and it was twice as much. One lady was very helpful, one gentleman helped as much as he could but was swamped, and the young man in the front did as little as possible including sending us to "just find someone else" for the keys to a case in the front.He had the keys.

Today we went to Bomgaars for fence posts & cattle panels..we have no complaints about the business, but that being said, the employee that came outside to help us was rude & acted like it was an imposition for us to be there..never spoke a word to my husband who is very chatty..His name is Will..he has a horrible attitude..( hopefully it was just a bad day) he went inside & got 2 other employees to help ..they were excellent! Will definitely needs an attitude adjustment!!

We used to love this store. We did until we recently bought a shop fan on sale. It was defective and when we returned it to the store, they wanted us to pay the difference to exchange the fan.Mind you we bought the fan last Friday and returned it on Monday. Three days!We won't be back.

Thankfully they were open on Labor day, because I had some serious fencing issues keeping my pigs in one spot and I was able to get my electric fence back up and running. Then the dishwasher I was installing for my mom experienced a hiccup, because the breaker was bad and it was some weird one and they had it and I was able to get my mom's new dishwasher installed.

Products are good, prices are fair but service seems to always be very poor. Given that a lot of yard items are not priced, some training for the staff would be nice so when you ask for a price they might understand what to look at.

Great store. Prices are reasonable and they have good sells periodically. The woman at the check out was NOT helpful at all and down right rude. I asked where something was and she just pointed and said"over there.. You can't miss it". Noone in line or any other customers around. Guess I was distracting her from her phone she was buried in.

It was a long shot if they were going to have exactly what I was looking for. They didn't. I did notice that the store was layer out well easy to search for what you are looking for. And it was clean for a hardware store anyways. I am going to have to get back in there and check out the rest if the store.

Poor customer service by the person who helped or rather didn't help me. I was looking for antibiotics for a dog. He tried to sell me a card u take to the register but it was for flea infestation. You could tell he wasn't sure & opposed to finding someone who was more knowledgeable, just said I guess we dont have it. I in turn took my business to the feed store in Licking who helped me with what I needed.

The store was nice enough and clean, sold out of several things but that's to be expected right now. The employees were awful though. Very rude and acted like it was a bother to even speak let along help with anything. The cashier literally only spoke to her coworker and never even spoke to us except to say "got a rewards membership?"

I shop at Oscheln Houston often. Jeanie, Sarrah and the whole crew are always friendly and helpful. It's great having a store that handles agricultural, hardware, lawn and garden supplies and other necesessities in a rural communitee like Houston, MO and it's a plus that they are open on Sundays when something breaks down and all the other stores are closed!

Absolutely rude ! We bought a 3 thousand dollar mower from these people and they didnt check hardware be for sending it home with us and the seat was not attached correctly so we took the seat back to the store with our receipt showing we paid cash John preceded to tell my husband because we wanted a replacement seat and hardware that we took food from his kids table and it wasnt his fault we will not be going back to this store they have no people skills and do not care about customer satisfaction

The staff is generally helpful. I get attitude from one cashier (for about a year now) but that's about it. Jeannie, John, and Ernie are my go to staff for their patience!

The employees are particularly friendly. They set up our log splitter and tested it before helping us hitch it up.This is also a great place to go for animal supplies and hutches.

For a feed store in a fairly small town it has a good variety. They also have regular sales that make it very worth while to shop there. They also offer veteran discounts and great customer service.

Really like the customer service there. Met some really great people while shopping there & became close friends. The only thing I don't like is when they are out of stock on the products we drive all the way there for, which is quit offen they are out.

They have pretty much anything you need for a farm & home (except big machinery!). Great plant starts and landscaping supplies too.
