I moved to the area recently and I reached out to Taney County Animal Control to help with abandon cats in Cross Creek housing (Branson East). The service was exceptional, the shelter is located on the rural area and some of the cats will even say hello to You when you arrive. Highly recommended as animal control service and front desk has a exceptional service - Thank you.

Absolutely NO help.Have tried calling about stray animals to get them help and have never gotten any help.I get told to call the police, which don't even answer their phone. Police for stray animals? Completely ridiculous.If you find a stray better just call another city because Branson/Hollister doesn't care at all!

I moved down to Missouri in 2008. I adopted my first in 2009 , 2010, and 2011. I love the place and the people there. I just adopted 2 puppies yesterday and they were very well taken care of at facility. They have a great web site, which is my new babies..❤️🙂

I called them when we found a dog. They responded and came and got the dog. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They were courteous and sweet to a dog that had to have been terrified being away from home. Thank you for your service to the community.

Staff is polite, even when overwhelmed. There is no doubt as to their caring for the animals in their care, and they want to return the pets to their owners or find them new homes quickly, but with the right family.

We adopted Gordo now named nicknack in oct . Hes a little chiouaha mix 6 yrs old and the sweetest little guy ever! So glad hes part of our family! Our toy poodle lives him to! He has his forever home! Ty taney county animal shelter! Staff was so helpful and informative
