I had the chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the Cobb salad. My girls loved their kids meals. At the end they got to get something out of the candy machine if they are all their food ;) For kids that's huge.The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. The older man and women were so kind to our girls and had great recommendations.We aren't big on chain restaurants. So this place was exactly up our alley. You will not be disappointed!

Some great food here, not fast food. What I wanted was not on the menu, so I asked for a bacon, tomato sandwich and add scrambled eggs. Super fresh and GOOD. The side sampler was delicious.Very nice management and serves. 👍🏼👍🏼

We came here expecting a different restaurant. However, it was not a wasted trip. The lasagna and ham bacon Swiss was fantastic. The chocolate cake is good too.Kid-friendliness: They were more than accommodating of our toddler.

Oh my is this a wonderful restaurant!! We met friends on a Friday evening before a show at Owen Theater. Excellent prime rib, home made rolls, amazing salads and fresh green beans with onion and bacon! We had heard about the amazing lasagna, chicken salad sandwiches and meatball subs so we have to go back! This is a family affair with mama making the meatballs from scratch, one daughter does all the baking, another is the chef! I wish I could give a 10 star rating! Great atmosphere in an old home, service was outstanding too! Our new favorite place to eat!

It is well worth making this place a main staple here in Branson.Parking: There is parking on the side and around back.Kid-friendliness: This is family run, the mom is the cook with a lucrative Youtube cooking channel. Don't act out, Mom's carry wooden spoons. (She actually very sweet)Wheelchair accessibility: Handycap parking right next to the wheelchair ramp

I have celiac disease & the sign out front advertising gluten free options brought me in.The staff were all super nice & treat you like a friend.They have a lot of sandwich items & the gluten free option is to get them in a GF pita wrap. The pita was thin, tough, & chewy. Luckily the chicken salad inside it was delicious so I just ate that. & the coffee was excellent!My husband had a meatball sandwich & it looked delightful.I would definitely go back & just not get the gluten free pita wrap.

I had the homemade lasagna and I must admit it was delicious, definitely not your run of the mill recipe, the homemade meatball on the side was a great touch. For dessert we had the pineapple cake and all I can say is I want more! I am glad that you can still find family owned restaurants with three generations working in unison creating excellent delicious food!

We had the most delicious lasagna today. It was so tender & favorable. They served a very large piece with a biscuit but that is all you can eat. Very reasonably price. We love this place. Our guests had different dietary needs & the owner made exceptions for them to accommodate those needs.

I'd give 1000 starts if I could. My mom and I ate lunch here on May 25th 2023. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the chicken salad sandwich and red potato salad. I think it's the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had in my 55 years of life. I also bought a slice of pineapple cake that is very rich and over the top delicious. Thankfully calories don't count while on vacation lol. Christine and her family are amazing and incredibly friendly. My mom and I asked many questions and everyone was so kind to take time to answer. Christine's mom was very kind. I could've sat with her for hours, just talking. My mom and I each bought a cookbook and look forward to her 3rd edition. I'm hoping that Christine will be able to add cooking classes if she's physically able to. I highly recommend this establishment. You won't be sorry!

My Cooking Nook is exactly what Branson needs! This is that quintessential, family owned and operated spot that takes great care with the food they serve and how they serve it. They have everything, from authentic meatball subs to fresh salads with dressing prepared to order. The daily specials will absolutely make you come back for more and Fridays are a must visit for their deliciously prepared prime rib dinner. Fantastic place to eat, excellent service, food was delicious, presentation was amazing. Very family friendly and worth the stop, skip the franchises, walking distance from the Branson Landing. Look for the yellow building on the corner and greet these fine people with smiles. They are sure to please!Kid-friendliness: Best kid friendly setting we have been all week! I just moved here and some many restaurants are over priced and not very good. We ordered the prime rib hogie with Aug and unique chicken sandwich. The fruit coleslaw was so different and good. We are definitely going back.

I have wanted to try this place for the last few weeks and im so glad i finally did! I really enjoyed everything the FOOD was absolutely amazing it is such a diamond in the sea of restaurants Branson has to offer DO NOT PASS THIS UP.
