The food was pretty good. The service was good considering that they were a little understaffed. It is located within a hotel. The decor is Irish Pub, but it is oddly well lit. It seamed too well lit for the decor with white LED lights. Other than that it is a nice atmosphere that goes along with the theme of the area. I would suggest trying them out. If you are in the Branson area you should check out this area. There are some cool shops and restaurants here.

Great Late Lunch Here. Atmosphere is very German Focused as it is located on Downing Street Hollister. Lots of Vintage Pictures with TVs at any view of seating. Had a Bavarian Pretzel for the app with some of the best Spicy Mustard I’ve had. The Ruben was top 3 Ruben’s I’ve ever ate. The meat was Tender, Hot, and Flavorful. Not only that the food came out prompt with a friendly server and the fries came out crisp hot and garnishes of parsley. Highly Recommend!

I'll will never go here again as this isnt the 1st or 2nd time this has happened here. i dont know how anyone could be proud to serve such "poor" quality house food. Just threw it all in the trash no lunch at work for me today thx yall.

Came on Local's recommendation & not disappointed. Excellent food and beer selection. Friendly wait staff with attention to service. Beautiful day, so chose to sit outside on patio and the flies were a nuisance. Inside an old English-style Inn & Pub, so very charming, but can be noisy for conversation. We shared the Reuben, which was piled high with pastrami, and a Wagyu burger. Both filling and flavorful! Hope to make this a regular stop anytime we're in Branson!

This place was crowded, so we thought it would be good. The service and atmosphere were fine but the food was not. I had a luke warm to cool Shepherd's Pie and my wife had fish and chips. She asked if the fries were plain and unseasoned and was told only salt was used. When they came, they were battered and had stuff sprinkled on top. Her fish was hot, but too salty. The Shepherd's Pie was not even broiled on top and the cast iron it was served in was below room temperature. I said nothing and just made the best of it. Although cool, the Shepherd's Pie had a good flavor. As we were getting ready to leave, I saw another Shepherd's Pie come out to a guest in the exact same unbroiled fashion. There is unmelted cheese grated on top and no "crust" on the potatoes. This place was busy at 8pm on a Sunday, so I'm sure most guests had better results with their food.

This is one of our favorites!Traditional pub restaurant atmosphere in a historic building. The staff is very good. The food we have had is great. We love the Pastrami sandwich andFlourless choc. cake.Drinks are also unique and well made. Prices for food may seem high at 1st glance of the menu but my wife and I feel its worth it. Fish and burgers were also very good.

Such a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. I think this is my new favorite local spot. Half our party got their wagyu burgers (the Mother Heifer, HAFB, and one other) and they didn't disappoint. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to specifications. Shepard's pie was wonderful and so filling. The cob fish and chips were beautifully fried and fresh. Buffalo chicken sandwich was enormous and absolute perfection. We can't complain or knock any part of this dining experience. Alice was our server: she kept our drinks full, was absolutely delightful, and was a good sport with the jokes my hubby and Dad had. Emaculant bathrooms and capable bartender. Definitely will be coming back.Kid-friendliness: We went for lunch hour and it was very family friendly. Enjoyed the cooler weather on the patio.

The food was absolutely delicious and fast and the portions size is quite large. The food and drinks are very well priced and was delivered very quickly. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! For tonight we (my wife and I) ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken and Fries and a Mushroom and Swiss Burger with fries, two non alcoholic drinks and one most excellent Sangria - and two desserts, the butter gooey cake was sublime.Including a Military discount and tip - dinner was $65.This was easily one of the best meals in Branson I’ve had.Five Stars all the way!

We are in Branson, MO, this week and decided to have lunch at Downing Street Pour House. Our grandsons ordered a grilled cheese with fries, Rogers got the Black & Blue burger with kettle chips, and I ordered the fish and chips! Guinness and Bloody Mary. Damn Delicious. As a plus the weather is nice so we dined outside.BIG thanks to Ashley for making our visit fantastic—you rock!

Mother Heifer burger was outstanding! It was lean and really juicy, pastrami on top is like a cherry on top! These guys know how to make burgers. Food is like a traditional pub affair. Good selection of draft beer and whiskey choices, some cocktails. If you want to come down and have a good time, and enjoy "normal people" food, this is the place.

I had a disappointing experience today at Downing Street Pour House. I am in town visiting my family. Numerous family members suggested the Pour House as a great place to go and eat. Immediately after giving our drink orders, I inquired about whether or not the bread/buns had soy ingredients. Our server replied that they had Gluten Free buns. I politely clarified that my allergy was soy and that it is different from gluten. I asked her if the kitchen was able to check the bag that holds the bread/buns for any soy ingredients because it is often found in baked goods. She appeared frustrated but said she would check. A few minutes later she came back and said the kitchen told her that food falls on other food and things get mixed up in preparation and that she could not guarantee that my food would be soy free. No mention of the actual bread/buns or whether they were checked for ingredients. She then hovered over us waiting for our order. I had to request she leave and give us more time. We ended up leaving money on the table that more than covered the coke my mom had ordered. Another server suggested that we should speak to the manager. I declined. I only requested that the bags in which the buns/bread come were checked for their ingredients. I can tell a great deal about an establishment by how they react to a request such as mine. Many servers at restaurants are happy to check with the kitchen and in return the kitchen is happy to help as well. There are no snappy replies or frustrated looks received. Sadly, my experience today showed that many members of the staff at Downing Street Pour House lack good service skills. This review excludes the kind server who offered to get the manager for us. At that point I really just wanted to get out of the restaurant as fast as I could.

Wow! We were finishing up our day as mobile rv techs (FLOW Mobile RV Services) when we stumbled upon this gem! Amazing food, amazing service, and beautiful atmosphere! We've been back 3 times in the past few weeks because it's so good. That's saying a lot because we rarely eat out...wife is such a good cook we prefer to eat at home and I'm really good at smoking meatBut, this place had us coming back for more! Looking forward to our next date night here!

Sadly with everything that is written about this restaurant I expected more. This being my second visit I was not that impressed with either. This visit I split a cheeseburger with my wife. We ordered it with cheddar but got American cheese instead. Asking the waitress she said she put cheddar on the order but maybe they were out of it! And I'll add that I've had much better hamburgers. This one was just good and not great. I expected better!

This was our first time to eat here and we will return when back in town! It was amazing! We had the Fish and Chips and the Smokehouse Chicken with potatoes and okra. We weren’t sure what to expect, it was beyond our expectations. Homemade touches with incredible flavor. Our service and server was spot on. Don’t pass through Hollister without a stop here—-you won’t regret it!

Stopped for a drink. But the history is amazing. The look of the building inside and outside. Supposedly, it is haunted by the original owner in 1912.Very unique story and history of the Town.Unique dining experience. White table cloth, quaint outdoor seating and small bar.

We had the best experience here at Downing Street Pour House. We came for an early evening dinner. I had the pour house punch and blackened mahi. He had the double smoked pork chop and a beer, and we also ordered the smothered tamales for an appetizer. We had an appetizer, drinks, and big meals for all under $70. The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic, and I can't wait to do it again.

The 'fries' appetizer is a must! That and a salad was the perfect meal after exploring nearby areas during the day. Then check out this dessert! Very nice combination of flavors. We'd heard they had good burgers. My hubby got one and was not disappointed. Solid and helpful service. Great lil neighborhood spot! Cool local atmosphere too.

Ok, unexpected and wow. Just stopped for a pint and saw a daily special for a soup and figured at 10 below zero a warm soup sounded good. The special was a ham potato soup and it was so good i couldnt stop eating it. Great job.
