I wish this shop was much closer to my home town, but the two hour drive is worth it. Well stocked with essentials for your model railroading needs, and plenty of extras. The staff is very knowledgeable, and take time to answer questions for folks new to the hobby.

Just came in today for a few Rc parts not expecting much it was amazing. There was a wide stock of traxxas Rc cars, parts and motor systems there was also paints, trains, and tons of other cool things. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Stopped by here on a road trip last year, and for a small shop, I was pleasantly surprised at just how much they had, from model trains, cars, planes, and plastic kits, there was plenty to choose from, and the prices were very fair, definitely sold me on a couple! (Ignore the dirty truck, it was a long trip 😆)

I stopped by here on vacation when my son's Traxxas truck broke a wheel caster. I bought the part and since I was on vacation and didn't have any tools with me, asked the owner if I could change out the part right there at the counter. Obviously the shop has all the basic tools to do this kind of thing and then some. It only takes a screwdriver an an allen wrench. But he replied, "sure, if you have the tools", and walked away.I was blown away that he could be so callous. So I said nothing, went back home and got the job done with my Leatherman.I would give this shop a 5 star rating for everything except customer service. For me their service was like a slap in the face. The owner could have lent me a screwdriver and an allen wrench to do the job - such a simple job - but instead he said "nah." So if you're considering this shop, I'm also inclined to recommend "nah" unless you're desperate for a specific part, and even then, don't expect the owner to care about you. Such a stark contrast to the rest of the very warm, welcoming Ozark area.UPDATE: After seeing the owner's reply to my review, I wanted to re-emphasize that he offered zero explanation to me on why he wouldn't let me use his tools. He didn't offer any explanation at all, just refused and walked away. I called him on the phone when I saw his reply to my review. He said he tries to explain his no tools policy to everyone that asks, but admitted that he may have forgotten to explain to me in this case. So far he has not edited his response to show that, so I'm mentioning it here.

My friend and I come from out of state just to visit this shop from time to time as we do not have a hobby shop in our home area. We have yet to be disappointed by the haul we come back with each time. A shockingly wonderful selection, and great atmosphere.

This hobby store is fantastic. Very clean no dust on any of the boxes and everything organized great selection of just about every thing you could think of. Very helpful owner and pleasant.My main reason for visiting was HO railroad bought a couple of buildings no rolling stock this time still spent $250.00Great experience. Its nice that its very well kept. Thanks keep up the great job.

I haven't been there in 25 years! It was my first real rc nitro truck I bought and built, unlike today's cars come rtr! I remember the huge war plane hanging from the ceiling with its red grin and it's huge propeller surrounded by many little nitro engines! I was going to buy it but the owner or someone else asked if I ever flew before and I said nope so they explained to me what a mistake it would of been and so thanks for the advice! I still have that chassis

Good overall variety of N scale and HO model railroad supplies for the size. Also the most organized modeling shop I’ve been in, not overwhelming and messy like some. Will be returning regularly.

I just recently moved to the area and found this wonderful shop. They have a wide selection of parts and accessories for plastic modeling, trains and RC vehicles. I’m not in to trains much, but after looking at all of the cool things this shop offers I might possibly start.My hobby of choice is plastic models and they have pretty much everything you would ever need. The pricing is quite reasonable for a local brick and mortar shop.While I was in the shop I met the owner, Rusty. Very friendly and easy to talk to. We hit it off right away. This place will be my “go-to” for my modeling addiction from here on out. Thanks for putting together such a great shop, Rusty!

Finding a hobby shop these days is tough. Whenever I’m on vacation, I look to see if there are any left to go to. Luckily this fine establishment is fighting the good fight with online retailers. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their inventory was impressive. They carry more than your common model kits. I dropped over $100 and left very happy.

He was able to find some very old stock for a plane I had. I scoured the interwebs for this part to no avail. Very courteous and knowledgeable. My favorite shop within 200 miles for sure.

Our special needs son absolutely LOVES trains. This little shop has a display area where the hobbyists work on their creations. Absolutely the nicest people there. They always open up the display room and let our son just stare and stare and stare at the train town creations. We live 8 hours away and when we get time for a family vacation we try to go to Ridgedale so that our son get go here. Sweet memories for sure. They have a great selection of trains and all the other things needed for the true hobbyists!

My husband really liked this hobby center, once they were open. Be aware: while they have scheduled hours, the store may be closed during the day without notice. Apparently staff ran to lunch, but please post a sign when you will return.

My husband has been waiting to retire and set up his railroad layout in his new family room. Today we planned our trip to visit this very helpful establishment. Rusty the Owner was extremely helpful and POLITE. I'm sure we will be back many times in the future.If your looking for something to do with model railroading this is the place to check out! Rusty and Nate are very friendly and helpful.

A surprisingly good hobby store in Branson. HO, N, and O scales are well represented with engines, rolling stock, buildings, and scenery supplies. Also a good selection of R/C equipment both air based and vehicles. If you are in the area, it's worth the stop. They have a web site, too.

The only thing I didn't like was that it's on the second floor of the building. But if you are handicapped, they have a chair lift for customers to sit on to get upstairs.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You'll have to walk up a set of stairs to find the well stocked inventory. Hobbies are expensive and they're prices are what you would expect to pay

I have been stopping by this hobby shop while on vacation for several years. My main hobby is model railroading and this dealer always has a good selection of this type of merchandise, especially structures and tools. If you are in the neighborhood, I encourage you to stop by and see what they have.

Visited in July 2021. Its one of the best stocked hobby shops train wise as we have ever visited. About 5 minutes from downtown Branson. It is absolutely worth a trip!

Frank at Branson hobby center was one of the most helpful people I've encountered at a business, start with this there was several things I needed for my arrma kraton 4s but I did not have my car and he mainly sells traxxas parts so made the comparison harder for my well needed parts with that being said he had several opportunities to just let me buy parts off guess but we searched and found my guesses to be wrong a few times and he was honest and didn't let me buy the wrong parts. Very well clean place also. Both Frank and bis co worker were some of the best I highly suggest going here that is if you want honest good people and good reliable parts and information on all your rc needs.

Didn't have much of a crawler selection I told the man numerous time that I did not have my tools because I'm out of town. I had to see what size wheel bearings my truck had he didn't look them up nor offered to do anything for me, or help me out NOT going here ever again I'd rather drive 45 minutes to Springfield to get what I need

Being a tourist city with lots of things going on. The wife had my ID so I couldn't leave with my items cause of no ID. Had the money. So make sure you have your ID handy. First time in literally years I've been asked to see my ID when using my debit card.
