Exceeded our expectations! Felt like we had a cheat code because we got to experience all that big cedar has, at a fraction of the cost. The front desk personnel were exceptional. I have stayed at thousands of hotels and never had better service! Rooms were very clean, showers were hot and golf was amazing! Having the shuttle to get us to the course was perfect. Breakfast was very good, levels above what I see on the road. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds.Nearby activities: 5 min to Big Cedar Lodge (Payne's Valley and Ozark National golf courses).

Jerry at the front desk is amazing. He was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. While he was on shift there were plenty of towels in the pool area. He made sure the front area stayed clean and tidy. He was always kind and helpful when we asked for directions or advice on places to visit. The rooms were nice. The location was good, but Jerry is what made this stay great.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was hesitant about staying here. We accidentally booked our stay at the Springfield location when we arrived the hotel clerk was able to get things transferred to the Hollister location. Please don't pay attention to the negative reviews. Everything was great. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and I didn't notice any odors in the room. It had a fresh smell to it. The breakfast was very good. We will stay here again no questions asked.

The reply from Bass Pro to this thread asking for me to contact them with further discussion, I answered and they did not respond. Imagine how they must treat guests who signed long term contracts! I and my extended family will no longer support this bait and switch organization whose multiple attractions in our area we use to frequent. They sold us a room with faulty heating during a literal freeze warning. They did not answer for a while at the desk. After 6am, they did offer us another room to shower in, and had the audacity to ask we come again. At least I know better than to consider a time share with Big Cedar Lodge. Our first trip together in decades and Johnny Morris should be ashamed!Rooms: FaultySafety: Handicapped spaces blocked by construction dumpsters. Workers insisted we park next to them after trying to park in a handicap space on the side next to their trucks.

First the good. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room is what was expected for a 2-star hotel. The breakfast was also decent for that level of hotel. Now the bad. The pillows were some sort of foam material that looked fluffy but offered no support, super weird. The pillows caused an allergic reaction for me. The mattress had a funny mix of smells of perfume, and various body odors. For these reasons, I would not recommend this hotel.

It’s on a very busy street so get a room in the back if you need a quiet night. Otherwise it’s a lovely place with super helpful staff. Breakfast was average fare, but few choices for a vegan or vegetarian.Nearby activities: Lots to walk to including Bass Pro and Wonders of Wildlife.

Very dishonest. Booked online and was told after I booked that there was a pet fee. After I checked in, I was told the fee was higher than I was quoted, in writing. When I questioned this I was told “this is America”.My dad is a US veteran, he was with me. This is how they treat veterans?!!!We cancelled both rooms, they lost hundreds of dollars when they could have just credits us $20 and we wouldn’t been happy.Noteworthy details: Do not treat veterans very well

It was such a clean, nice, well-maintained hotel. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious and every single employee I encountered was as nice and accommodating as could be. I loved the added benefits of being a guest there that also got you in to Top of the Rock and Big Cedar attractions.Rooms: The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and furnishings nice and updated.Nearby activities: Short drive to Branson, the landing, Silver Dollar City, or the Dam. Very close to TOR and Big Cedar and you can shuttle to them.

Just happened to choose this hotel because it was the nearest to a college visit. Turns out Angler’s Lodge was one of the highlights of the quick trip. Very modern hotel that smells great, is well above average in comfort (you can even buy your pillow), and has a really good breakfast. Looking forward to going back and staying at this location again. It is a traditional hotel location, but part of a larger resort system in the area with lots of pretty cool looking outdoor activities within the resort system. Some of them require as much as a 20 mile drive to enjoy, but if we had more time, we certainly would have taken advantage of those opportunities.

Not recommended. Been dealing with a failed air conditioner in our room for a few hours. Now it's after 10 pm, and still not fixed or a room swapped. Won't be back here again. They finally moved us to another room after 11pm on a Tuesday night, it's not like they don't have rooms available. Smaller room and beds, but at least the air conditioner works.🙄🙄🙄Disappointed in what seems like it could be a nice place.

Awesome place to stay. Feels like you are staying in a Bass Pro Shops. Breakfast was fantastic and a great start to a cold morning fishing. The restaurant next door, Tall Tales, has delicious food and good service. My only detractor was a lack of good boat parking with electrical hook up to charge the battery. With a name like Anglers Lodge I hope this is something they can rectify to make it easier for fisherman. That is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

My husband booked this hotel when we were planning our second trip to Branson, and he choose a good one! This hotel is very clean, it smells amazing inside and is very cozy. The staff at the front desk always greeted us with warm smiles as did housekeeping. Our room was decorated nicely and a bonus (which didn't always use to be a bonus at hotels), the room came with a small refrigerator. I'm not a breakfast person but my husband said they had one of the best breakfasts of any hotel he'd stayed at. This hotel is a few minutes from Downtown Branson and Big Cedar and while the area is growing around the hotel, there was gas and food close by but not much else (Not a complaint! I enjoyed the quiet and lack of street noise). Tall Tales Bar & Grill is steps outside of the hotel, their food was amazing and came out quickly but they seemed unstaffed so the service was not the best.

We just got back from our week long trip to Table Rock lake. Our stay at Anglers was absolutely perfect. The room was clean and cozy with the Bass Pro theme throughout. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also very nice. The food was hot and delicious. They kept the are very neat and clean. My only two suggestions- flavored creamer for coffee and more seating. Our family of four sometimes had a hard time finding seats with the large golf groups. The pool was also very nice and a nice break from the heat! Overall it was a great stay in a nice quiet location. The shuttles were a nice addition as well, and the drivers were all very friendly and accommodating.

Came back from Breakfast and was locked out of room. Card key would not work, went down to front desk made new card key still wouldn't work. They called security came with some masters key wouldn't work got lab top plugged in card reader wouldn't work. Maintance came tried to break into room like you would break into a car, no luck. Maintance tried his master card key and it worked. 1 1/2 hrs later I got in my room. Missed tee time caught up with my 7 guys on hole 3. Anglers lodge said couldn't do anything for me because of group rate, but Buffalo Ridge refunded my green fees. Thank you Buffalo Ridge.

Unfortunately I also encountered the same issue. I had made a reservations and had to cancel that same night, due to finding out a family member becoming very ill and we would not be able to make the reservation date. I cancelled that very evening so I assumed our reservation was cancelled until we received an email from the concierge service stating that she was looking forward to helping us in any way with our reservation. We called immediately to rectify this matter and was told that without the cancelled confirmation emailed we would still be charged. Considering we had cancelled the same night as we booked the reservation, I was disgusted to find out they were still charging my credit card. The Supervisor was so rude and condescending on the phone, I could tell she was very versed in her responses. This was not the first time she had done this to potential customers. We have always enjoyed their facilities, but never again. I am sure if there is a response to this email, they will once again reiterate their so called cancellation policy, even though we had no idea was still had a reservation with them. SO DISAPPOINTING!!

Was at this hotel back in June for my vacation when I was coming from St. Louis. Environment is great the people there are great. The taxidermy there is amazing. Plus the food there is good too. Plus the chocolate milk there is good. Don't have that particular type of chocolate milk here in St. Louis. The closest to it is Prairie Farms Chocolate milk. Besides the fact. Anglers lodge is the best hotel in southwest Missouri. This is the hotel I'll be coming back to on my next vacation to Branson.

Checking in, with Claudia, set the stage, for how nice everyone was. She was so nice and helpful. Breakfast is awesome!! With a great selection. The Lady over breakfast Sunday the 13th, morning(sorry no name) was welcoming and immediately helped me. Also, the Lady over breakfast, Monday the 14th, was very nice and welcoming. The decor is beautiful and the pool/hot tub are crystal clear. Our room was immaculate. I spoke to our Housekeeper, Escarlet. She is a sweetheart! We will absolutely be back.

I was going to dock a star for the very low water pressure and the a/c unit that didn't manage to keep the room very cold. But decided on 5 stars for the nice pool, discount for the aquarium, and the *fantastic* breakfast. The staff was kind and helpful, and atmosphere was cozy.We really enjoyed our stay.

BEWARE!!! Made booking through Expedia. Although there is a pet fee listed on website it is not clearly visible when you make a booking on your phone and is not included on final amount you agree to when booking. (I clearly stated that I would be bringing a pet) Arrived at hotel to find this out and was unable to cancel booking at that time. Additionally, I was charged additional 10.01 from hotel due to the 75 dollar fee being paid at time of arrival. Called customer service to dispute 10.01 and was told they could not help me with my dispute but would pass it on to their accounting department. I am not an unreasonable person but just wanted to communicate that it should be made clear at booking that fees are added. It was a stressful situation that did dampen what was to be a great experience.
