The people r over the top ,very kind an helpful ,today I picked up my Low cost Fresh Turkey like every year and not only was the price lower then I thought ,I recieved another $10 off because of the coupon on turkeys ,then the young girl asked if she could help me take my grocries out an put them in my car ,just like everytime ,an when I said no thank you ,she assured me she would love to help me , that's wonderful to look out for their coustomar , last year we had the meat dept smoke a brisket for us , man that was the best brisket I have had since the last one they smoked for us , thank you Yoss Meat dept guys and cashiers you guys awesome, Happy Holidays

*Update* seems they got rid of her. Haven't seen her in a while. Prices are fair and sales are good. The crotchety old man bagging groceries hates brown paper bags for some reason and refuses to bag my groceries, so I have to do it myself. I guess for me this store is an Aldi. Seems like I should get a discount if I have to bag my own stuff.

A good deal, fresh meat cuts daily, only draw back is, it is a small town grocery so if you see it, get it then especially diet coke, code red mt dew. The staff from the newest hire to the oldest veteran are just the most friendly folk I've had the pleasure to meet.

I love this store because it's close and small. They usually have what you'll need and sometimes things you wouldn't expect to find. I'm gluten free and wish that section was larger but there are still options.

Yoss is doing a great job of keeping their customers happy. It used to be difficult to “buy local” and get everything I needed. Thank you for always accommodating. If they don’t have it, just ask. They’ll get it.

Store gets high points for clean but some items seem higher priced than others such as fresh made salads. Some employees need some in service training in customer relations. On entering the store the person collecting carts from parking lot was rude. He pushed his carts into their lines then as I entered pulled one out. I thanked him as I mistakenly thought it was for me. He informed me he intended to just move it to another row but I could have it. He seemed a bit disgruntled. I guess I'm expecting too much as a 70 year old woman. He blew his chance to make himself and your store look good.Update May 1, 2021I have to give credit where credits due. Store is much improved especially over previous one. Clean and well appointed. Love the grab and go cooler up front and new pharmacy. Everything looks fresh and staff wearing masks. Such a delight to shop! Keep up the good work!

Always friendly staff, clean store, great sales. They have added a nice variety of items for all types of cuisine, and make it easy to shop local and not drive to the big box stores. Awesome liquor department where they always pass savings on to the customer. Great management (even that one squirrelly guy)!

I've lived here 25 yrs and I never imagined this grocery store would be so amazing!!! High quality good prices great deals friendly hometown workers. Caleb the manager is always accommodating to anything you need that may not be available. It is remodeled clean and offers a lot more variety than ever before. It was worth the short time of a little inconvience while under construction. I do all my shopping there and love it!!!

Its the only grocery store for several towns away (about 35 minutes), but its pretty acomidating in verity. The prices are good as well, not gouged for convenience thankfully.

So I have been in this store numerous times and there have only been a handful of times the employees were kind. Everyone there seems to hate their job, they never say hi, there is never any smiles, and no-one offers help! If you ever see anyone talking it is to each other and never a customer, we, as customers, are a bother to their existence!!!!!!! It is sad that in such a small community one of the main businesses is so negative. I dread going into this store! I try everything I can to avoid this store; even if that means I have to drive another 15-20 minutes.

Friendly, motivated employees, updated store. I am diabetic and they have been the only store to carry diet ginger ale. Recently they have been out, and they are checking with their vendor to see why they don't have any, etc. They care, they also said tell them about sales, and if it is reasonable, they will try to be competitive. Impressed!

Yoss Brothers Grocery is a very nice grocery store in Holden with a very large selection of groceries for a small community. If they don't have it or carry it on a regular basis, ask. I highly recommend shopping for selection and convenience and to be there in support of their continued success!

Newly remodeled, lots of new products. It's finally getting to be a place you can shop daily and have decent pricing, with good quality.The staff is supper helpful, ask for specials and they will order it in for you. They are fixing there pos parking lot to!!!Yoss Brothers is making a substantial investment in this location.I for one, will give them all the support I can, SHOP LOCAL, support are local businesses, Yoss Brothers is making a difference.

they have a good variety of food, things you don't normally see in small towns. the people are friendly,and VERY helpful! I love this store and so happy they are here! I hardly ever go ANYWHERE else unless it's just convenient . thank you YOSS BROS for coming to our town :)

Wonderful They had everything I needed Great hamburger Backers chips All the canned goods I needed. Reasonable prices and didn't have to deal with the rude people at Walmart Everything clean and nice clerks. Only my second time there but Yosts has made a difference there.

I typically spend 45 minutes in this store twice a week. It is the only grocery store in Holden, and my only option for groceries. Online shopping is not available in this rural area. So, while sale items and generics are decently priced, not great, name brands are generally overpriced. They are frequently out of stock on items I buy regularly and have discontinued several items I require for a medically prescribed diet. Today, I was refused service for a text coupon item in the deli. I wasn't even offered a raincheck. Most of the employees are friendly, except for the deli workers, who have trouble formulating a complete thought. The one person who seemed to know anything was not very pleasant about it. If I could get groceries somewhere else, I would, but I am stuck with this place.

Yoss is a great place I always find everything that I am looking for. The prices are a bit higher but not by much. Beats driving all the way to warrensburg. Everybody is very friendly and helpful except for one person she was very rude to me and several other customers in multiple occasions. I believe her name is Sam. She almost yelled at me when I accidentally put in the wrong pin for my card and complained that she had to start over which took not even 5 seconds. Then proceeded to tell the customer that was behind me that he needed to go to the next register and it was because she didnt want to do her job. Afterwords She said to her coworker at the next register "I'm gonna need to go outside for a while". This is not the first time Sam has acted this way. Sorry for the rant other than Sam I really like Yoss. And i just feel that management should know how she treats your customers. I also do believe that the meet in the deep freeze by the rest of the fresh meet should definitely not try to be sold.
