Will never return. Could almost grab the animosity in the air. Most toxic unprofessional attitude I have come across. WILL GLADLY take my money elsewhere. Outdated equipment, bad attitudes and belittling a customer is no way to operate a business. Wish you all the worst. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I have heard terrible things about this clinic, with several resulting in the death of an animal AFTER my family dog was dead due to negligence of this office and the Vet. Upon posting on Facebook of this terrible experience, my post was flooded with people sharing similar stories with this clinic, one specific reply from a family member of a 20 year employee who was required to sign a non-disclosure upon quitting because of the practices of this clinic. When asking for our dogs records the request has been denied several times, and not a single condolence was offered upon the death of our dog- which resulted because of a severely high dosage prescription that other vets have been astonished by.

I have a male Longhaired Tom Cat that can't seem to shake a furball.Dr. Blum's office crew put me on to some medication and Science Diet Fur ball relief food that would aide in helping him to dislodge that nasty furball. He has not brought it up as of yet, but the medicine and food seem to have brought him some relief. I am keeping a close eye on him, but truly the coughing has eased up quite a bit. I look for it to dislodge soon. I was greatful that they took the time to at least offer the help, as I was becoming very apprehensive over his condition. The deep coughing he was doing, caused me concern for bringing on a possible heart attack or possible stroke. Thank you, Holden Animal Clinic.

Rude and unfriendly is the best way to describe the young lady behind the counter. She had an attitude that they are doing you a favor. The veterinarian is very good, but the support girl needs some lessons on customer service. The groomer will not continue to groom your pet the same way each time. You must specifically tell her each time if you want something specific.

We come here for grooming. Melissa can not be better. Super kind and loving to our small dog. She does an excellent job on her! We can’t say enough good.The office staff are also nice.

Unfortunately my cat didn't like getting his shots and needed to be held by two ladies, but they did a fantastic job to make sure he was OK, got everything he needed, and helped me get him back in his crate when he was clearly scared and was ready to go home. They were fantastic here, so helpful, and reassured me that his reactions were fairly normal with cats. My dog was easy and didn't have any problems, she didn't even yelp when getting her shots, which was a first! This vet is the top of our list! 👏

This man gave my 10yo dog vaccinations while she was sick! She started having seizures the next day! They did absolutely nothing to help her after the fact. She died shortly after that. Another time he told me a cat was already neutered. It was not! I would drive 50 miles to not go to this vet again.

Dr Blum & his staff were really great, as usual.Had my fur baby of 12 yrs put to sleep and these guys were very considerate of what I was going through and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and able to handle her last moments the way I thought were right for us.I've been taking my pets here for over 20 yrs. and would not go anywhere else.

They are a great animal hospital. They do a wonderful job with each individual animal. They aren't afraid of my dogs. The prices are reasonable which is nice since every other animal clinic around this area will cost you an extra mortgage to get your dog her shots. So actually pricing is fantastic. The staff is a great group of young people ready to learn and help. Great place

Things didn't go very well for my dog and if not for me researching things on my own I would have never had known. My dog had a surgery done and was sent home without a collar even after I asked for one and a medication that was way too strong and not even recommended by the maker of the medication for a dog her size. I did give a pill to my dog however beforehand unfortunately and when she started acting strange I researched it only to find out the above information about it. When confronted about it they said it was the correct dosage. There were other errors as well and a lot of confusion both dropping off and picking up and no one seemed to know what was going on. So unfortunately I will not be bringing my dog back here for any reason. I also wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else.

This animal hospital veterinarian he is the best! Do not take your animals anywhere else! They are very loving very good people at this animal hospital. I own a big German Shepherd he got hit by pickup I rushed him right down there and a doc got him back there and seeed him up and where his leg have been torn open from being hit and he sewed him up right away!

I recommend this place for your veterinarian needs. They are decent on their prices and they cant be beat!! I dare you to try. They did a wonderful job on my dogs surgery. She had to have emergency surgery and the vet in warrensburg wanted 1k and couldn't work with us. Even the 2 programs they offer, " tht dont go off credit " well wouldnt help. We called holden and they did the surgery for a fraction of the cost. And managed to squeeze us in, as it was an emergency.

Dr. Blum has treated several of my pets. He has shown compassion and seems to really care about my animals. When we had to put one of our dogs down, he was very humane and comforting to us.He and his staff have always been great to us.

I'm giving them 5 stars, and I'm NOT staff. Just a client who's used their service for our livestock and pets for years. They've saved two of our dogs that Dr Means in Warrensburg almost killed. The staff has always been very nice and helpful, the care has always been great, the office is always clean and doesn't smell horrible like other offices. He's spayed/neutered all of our dogs and cats with no complications. I will ALWAYS recommend this office, and will continue to go the extra couple of miles when my babies need care. Do I need to ask around your town, not really. I go by experience, not by word of mouth.

I usually had a good experience, but stopped going here a year ago. My daughter I brought our dogs to be fixed and microchipped. They registered both dogs and the microchips in my daughters name. They set up the microchips under a fake email. So we have no access to petlink to update the info! I called and spoke to the most rude lady when I saw this at the time of the spay, she fixed it to put my dog in my name but claimed they never set up the microchip info. Today I called again spoke to another lady same thing, said nothing they could do, but did admit because my daughter didn’t have an email on file, when they registered the microchips one was made up. I have been at it a year to get this fixed, but can’t thanks to the incompetence of the Vets Office. There were no apologies even though they admitted they did wrong. I have emailed Petlink several times and no response. I have called several times but told because there is no correct email set up they can’t send a link to get a temp password. This mess would have never happened if the Vets office had just done the right thing in the first place!

I love the great care that my pets (dogs & cats) get from the doctors and staff at Holden Animal Clinic. Also, they have great prices for boarding our dogs when we go out of town. :) We moved here from a larger town and I feel blessed to have found a great place to bring my fur babies right here in Holden.

I’m seeing these horrible reviews, which all were made by people who are friends with the family that lost their beloved pet. Reviews should always be made based on first hand experience. I’m noticing how they are all suddenly veterinarians now! Considering they “know” wrong instruments were used. Remember, there’s always two sides to every story. I’m sure the veterinarians did everything they could to save this family’s pet.We have a premature calf that desperately needed help. His momma isn’t producing milk, and he was premature. On top of that, he had a case of pink eye so severe that when initially given an antibiotic to rid the pink eye, it didn’t work. When I called, I spoke to a woman named Stephanie. I was asked to bring the calf in, so he could be seen. Mind you, this calf is now 100% blind. When trying to load him to transport him, he freaked out and began to stress. I called the clinic again, and explained the situation. I expected to get turned away. Instead, they showed compassion to our baby and to us. I was able to go pick up antibiotics for him, at an extremely reasonable price. The veterinary assistant brought the antibiotics to me, and thoroughly explained how to administer them. This is my first time ever caring for a sick calf, and they made me feel comfortable in how to care for him right here on the farm.Today, just 24 hours after administering the meds. His infection is already cleared up and he’s walking around and playing. He’s still blind of course because of how severe his pink eye was, but his spirits are so high. I want to thank the kind, compassionate people of this clinic over and over for helping us care for our baby. I will be RUNNING towards this vet for care for all of our pets. I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best that we have been to in years. Very reasonable prices they work with you and their staff is always friendly. Dr. Blum has always taken very good care of our rescue horses, hes very knowledgeable.
