This place is seriously going down. We have tried for 3 days now to get water and the same lady won't get up and go to the back to get it. She even took Ronnie back there and he seen it all but because she would have to move a couple boxes off she wouldn't do it. Can't wait until the new family dollar and dollar tree open so we don't have to put up with this place anymore.

This is a great place to make free money. The employees are too lazy to update the price tags. They are legally required to sell you the product for the advertised price. Best time to take advantage of this is when they have $5 Saturday coupons. Get $26 worth of stuff. Ring it up. Give them the coupon. Then find the stuff on your receipt that rang up wrong and argue with them. Like I said, they can't do basic math and will spin themselves in circles trying to figure out what to actually charge you. We do this pretty much every week. Last Saturday we got refunded $18 on a $26 purchase when they only actually owed us $2.20. $8 for $26 with of food and necessities is a really good deal. Big thanks to dollar general for helping out the common man in these tough economic times.

Policy on charging cards is off cleaninnes and. Orgnazation is off never have stuff when you come in rather not been placed from back on to the floor or isn't been order. Just. Kinda dispointing use be good place to get fast grab but when employees are shown one way over other employees it kinda makes things hard and where the customer friendly help to find things. Disorganized. I've seen few workers bust hump and others barely do. Maybe store had better managment. And organization would be better place to shop over all cashiers are respectful not rude but one things sure if I am looking for a product and for over two weeks or better its not ther I don't know and how many customers look for something like peter pan honey penutbutter. Amd no where to be found then u get told shrlfs that takes ladders to get um how convenient for the customers yep we should climb later grab what should be at reachable for the customers sad I use brag how things was better priced and easy to get but over the past yr I would shop a stofe that I hace pay 2$ more for across the road. At yoss due to to this day I can find what I need and if they don't have I can request it and they get it orderded in. One tbings sure this store needs a major change in all departments amd policy as well. If its becuss a supervisor is hiring people who lack motive to do may be then they need to up the game and hire those who will work and do for the customers or come up with a plan that would make employees want to keep doing thed job incentive just saying. Gues you get what you pay for it is dollar general and this isn't first store who's had reviews done and when they changed it the store became more shopable for people. You can like me hate me but one thing sure I won't sugar coat just cuss I work somewher or I shop there customers want to come in grab and go not shop all day for few things just see they haven't had it for weeks or months. If store is not doing as well maybe it's becuss the store supervisor and corp lack of. First and formost in this kinda department its about seeing your customers happy taken care of and respected and its for sure store wise lacking customer service care. When employers only have. A hand few. That do and other don't. It makes it hard Those who do ther job.correctly harder

Just bought a bag of dog food a week ago. Opened bag and stale smell hit me like a ton of bricks. Best by 01-09-23 on bag. This store sells food almost a year old probably left over from the pandemic! I'll go to Yoss and Wal-Mart.

The store is well stocked and they even have fresh produce!! I found that they have an AWESOME supply of a large variety of merchandise that I haven't seen in other Dollar General stores. The new manager and the employees are very friendly and very helpful!!

I got a loaf of bread. Went to check out and the cashier refused to give it to me for sale price. The sign was still up and they said it was an old sign. Well that's not my fault, that is management's fault for not making sure old sale signs are down. Management said they couldn't over ride it. It may of only been about a 50 cent difference but when ur on a fixed income, that adds up. Lost my business!

Our new Dollar General is managed better than the old Dollar General store. Great place to pickup necessitates without having to leave Holden.

Its,got good buys,great for stopping real quick to grab what you need on the way home. And they always have a nice little things to decorate with. Pay attention and you can get some great sales!!

Not the average Dollar General store. In the 3 weeks that I have shopped in this store (or tried) it has continuously been in chaos. One employee is constantly screaming for other employees to help her at the register (going as far as to run outside), there is always product and/or boxes in the floors of the aisles, and you can't begin to sort through sale items to buy anything. I have shopped at many Dollar General stores and none of them have been like this!

I mean it's not bad as far as there selection but I defanitly think they could be more friendly and helpful but at least they don't follow you around like most stores do when they stereotype

Typical dollar General. Nice access to parking. Store layout a little crowded but nice variety. Had everything we needed and wasn't hard to find. Nice service and friendly.

I wanted Mexican Coca-Cola bc it is made w/sugar, not corn syrup. I looked for it but could not find it. When I asked a clerk where it was,I was told it was near aisle 6. But I still did not find it. I bought other items, but I left feeling dissatisfied about not finding the Coke. There are only a few places where I can buy it.

Usually have what you need, slow to re stock. Not everything is a dollar, they round up not down. Kind of like a general store, little bit of everything.

When I first walked in I was asked about my mask I told the lady I think I had one in my purse if not I was going to buy one. She had one on but she had it down around her neck and the entire time I was in there not once did she put it up over her mouth.

This is the most unorganized store I've ever seen stuff all over this store sitting in the middle of the aisle. It's like this every time I go.Seem like the people are always working on restocking the shelves but they never get done.

This is the worst store I have ever been in , carts of merchandise always in middle of isles , only one person working register with 10 or more people in line . I rather drive 30 miles to Walmart then to ever shop in this store !!
