I set up an appointment to have my hair cut at noon on Saturday, February 24, 2024. I showed up 10 minutes prior to my appointment with one gentleman in the chair and a room full of walkins. The gentleman in the chair was finished right at noon, but instead of calling my name for my appointment, the barber continued on to the next person in the room, then the next. At that point, I got up and walked out the door. What is the use of offering appointments for people to pick the time that's convenient for them if you are not going to cut their hair at the appointed time? I went to a competitor and likely will not be back.

This is a great old-school barbershop run by a lady with a good sense of humor and a very sweet dog. She even has a neat antique barber chair. I go by regularly for trims and shaves. There's nothing quite like the feeling of a freshly shaved head from a straight razor. Prices are very reasonable so make sure you leave a good tip!Haircut price: $10.00Beard trim price: $5.00

Moved to Holden a little over a year ago and I’ve been looking for a quality barber shop here in town.. Well I finally found it today! Booked an appointment this morning and he got me in right on time. Wanted a mullet for my buddies wedding and I wasn’t disappointed. He also gave me a business card with his personal # and let me know that he could work around my schedule which is big positive since I’m usually not available durning the week.
