This is the closest Schnucks store to where I live in House Springs and the store is always well stocked and clean inside as well as outside in the parking lot. Employees are helpful if you need assistance and if you shop their sales and specials you can justify the slightly higher prices easier but the cost of everything anywhere you go is beyond insane already. Definitely you get better quality and selection of meats and produce here than the lower priced grocery stores in the area and they have an amazing deli and bakery second to none which makes it worth the trip and a little bit more cost.

Nice, clean store. Teammates usually always helpful. Has a nice "homey" feel to the store. Produce is always stocked well and the meat counter had some nice looking stuff.

I have been shopping here for close to 8 years and today was by far the worst experience I've had here. As I was unloading my groceries, a 10lb board from the check out counter fell on my foot. Then the guy name Alec that was bagging my groceries was just throwing them in the cart. He picked up my container of seafood salad and it went flying out of his hands onto the ground, lid popped off and seal broke. I could see the seafood salad all around the container. He tried putting it in the bag and I said no absolutely not!! I dont want that now. He then grabbed my load of bread and smashed it with his hands. So I then asked him, "I'm not trying to be rude but can you not just throw my groceries into my cart please as I don't want my items broken or crushed". Then next bag he purposely threw into the cart and said "oh sorry it slipped." Someone needs to train this guy on how to properly bag groceries or put him in a different department. People don't want to pay an arm and a leg for smashed or broken groceries and if you drop something on the ground and the food falls out of the container, you should probably ask if they want another one, and not stick it back in the bag with a broken seal!

Was not happy with the fact that I went to get some chicken wings from the hot bar and well I had to stand their and wait at the counter while the guy that was there before me cleaned out both full pans of wings every last one of them 3 buckets full did not say hey would you like to get yourself 10 or 12 wings before I take all 200 nothing and the guy working the deli watched and seen him do it , and of course I said loud enough " wow thanks for leaving some for the rest of us " so I turned to the deli guy amd asked are you gonna put some fresh wings out and he says no probably not ! And it was like 730pm . Was pretty rude of both of them , then as I was walking down the next isle theres the guy with 3 buckets of wings and I can hear his conversation on the phone and he says , "well fine then why don't we just stop at jack in the box then it's right in the parking lot " so I again said loud enough " jack in the box you mean 3 large buckets of wings is not enough "? I should have said they are giving out free donuts over there and when he looked snatched up a bucket of wings and took off , trust me he was not hinna catch me even if i tripped over his 2 other buckets of wings !

This was my main grocery from the time that it opened. I’ve decided I’m done with this store. Their new checkout policy is ridiculous. Self check out is only okay for 10 items or less. My other option is to stand in line behind many other customers because they only have one or two cashiers working. The last cashier I had put every one of my items in a separate bag. I had 14 plastic bags!!! I walked to the front of the store and re-bagged my items into 6 bags. They are nuts! By the time I left I was furious. Walmart is closer to my home. I can self checkout and they are cheaper. Bye Schnucks…..

Is it appropriate for the Store Manager to hang up on people? Apparently it is acceptable. Gilbert in Customer Care was just as rude. I am a weekly Schnuck's customer and they have seen the last of my money. Stay away folks. Very unprofessional organization. Deceptive practices.

I will never shop here again. Two registers open. Huge line of people waiting and they told me you can only have 10 or less items for self checkout. Then get rid of the self checkout and staff the registers. I only had 20 items or so. Mostly vegetables and fruit that I was buying a few of. Who goes to the grocery store and buys 10 items. I will never go back.

The whole coolers went down in the greens, cucumbers and green peppers wall, I ask the employer Brandon who works in the produce section and he told me he could look in th back since they had to move them all, he sure did find all three items, thank you sir, much appreciated!!

Very well stocked clean and appropriately staffed. Always love the store brand brats. Good selection on quality produce. Delicious deli items are always fresh. Checkout lanes were mostly staffed. Parking lot was clean and cart corrals were tended to.

Used to be my favorite store. Convenient with my service dog. In & out thru self-checkout. Then management decided to punish all of us for their inability to control thievery. Could have put one person checking bags, but no. Now we wait in a long line for upwards of 10 min for 1 or 2 cashiers who make errors and bag everything separately. Schnucks management suck! If you have ANYWHERE else to get your groceries, go there. This company does not deserve our business.

I had stopped shopping at Schucks for about six months, because every time I went there, lines were ridiculously long and only one cashier. Self checkout was open. I prefer not to use self checkout. I switched to Karshes, though they were further away. I started going back a couple months ago, as it seemed they had put more cashiers back on. Tonight we went shopping. One cashier and she was closing up her line. Self checkout only now. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I was there early in the morning. They didn't have anyone checking customers out. I had to use the self check out. Which under normal circumstances would be fine. But the machine kept telling me to remove the milk from the bagging area and scan it, which I had already done. I had to have them fix it before I could finish checking out.

Long story short, my mom and I were running super behind for an award banquet we had to pick up flowers and gifts for the award recipients. We were really nervous we were going to be late and not have the gifts on time.My mom called and Stacey was so wonderful and pleasant. She went out of her way to locate and put together flower arrangements with balloons so that way my mom could run in and quickly pay. We were right on time to the banquet thanks to Stacey, and everyone received their flowers/balloons. Thank you, Stacey for going the extra mile to help us!!!!

Decided to try the Seafood counter after hearing commercials on KMOX. The butcher was very helpful in recommending cooking instructions for me (a bad cook). The marinated salmon was a hit when I got it home. I'll try it again.

45 + year Schnucks customer and I will continue as such.However, I bought a beautiful Schnucks Caramel Apple Crumb pie. About 2 inches of crumbs, 1/4 inch of apple and then crust. Nice caramel drizzle on top. It would be good with some apples. Ate one slice and discarded the remainder.

The seafood guy was very nice. But went through self-checkout. I had an issue that I needed assistance with and the person who is responsible to help just deleted my whole order rather than walk over and help me I was rather upset. Then the one in decided to stand back stare at me the whole entire time I was not pleased I reported it to someone hopefully they reported to the manager. Her not assisting us was just laziness I'm sorry to have to say it I gave you a 3 because the guy at the seafood counter was very nice and other people were nice there that that woman either needs to learn how to treat customers when they need assistance or find herself another job my opinion

Poor service at the deli. Ordered 20 chicken strips. They were still cooking told me they would be ready and packaged for me in 15 to 20 mins. Lady I ordered from went to break apparently. I went back after waiting 20 mins. They weren't out yet. As I am waiting I hear another customer ask for 10. When they came out 25 mins after ordering they gave that person her 10 and told me to wait 20 more minutes for my strips. Absolutely ridiucouod This store is truly going down hill.

The site is very clean, staff friendly and more helpful than most. My only issue is that the store had such limited connectivity that one can't even use the Schnucks app in store.
