I will absolutely stay here again. The value for cost is fantastic. It’s family run, and they were so welcoming and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. Everything was clean and cozy. Very nice hot water and comfortable bedding after a long day. The AC and other appliances worked great.Be aware of the location—being right near the highway, there are highway sounds. Personally, I sleep with white noise and I slept soundly for my stay.Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Great AC. Nice hot water. Slept well.

After a long day driving we booked here late on a Friday night. Expected it to be typical side of the highway motel. But it exceeded all expectations. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and exactly what we needed. We had a car full of luggage and we felt comfortable leaving it in the parking lot overnight. Highly recommend

Super clean rooms! Probably the cleanest room in a motel off the highway I’ve ever stayed at. The guy at the front desk (possibly the owner) was super nice and straightforward. Nothing creepy or shady, just a super affordable clean room right off the highway. Perfect for a quick spot to pull off and rest. Also, did I mention the room is HUGE! Super cool about my dog as well! Will stop in again!

Called late at night needing a room for daughter traveling across country. Person on phone was beyond nice. Told me the hotel was clean and safe, which is what a father is looking for. Although sold out on the bucket stores, they keep a room aside and gave it to my daughter, let me know there was really no food in the immediate vicinity, allowing my daughter to purchase food ahead. She informed me the room was older but spotless and large, the parking good, and the area made her feel safe traveling alone. I saw notes several times before calling and booking about the parking fee, so I don't agree with other reviewers saying it was a "surprise." This was a clean, safe, inexpensive stop. Very happy.Rooms: Clean, comfortable.Safety: Many little towns along this stretch of I70 have questionable reputations, this town was safe and it was obvious the hotel had security measures in place.

Little "mom and pop" hotel right off the interstate. You can hear the big rigs going by, but if you use the complimentary white noise machine (5 different settings!) in the room, you are fine. The room had older furniture, fantastic Wi-Fi, and an actual table big enough for two people. Had the usual fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Staff was very nice, checking in and out was a breeze. Be aware, the nearest food is a ten-minute drive away.

I’m going to start off by saying that from the start this place did violate ADA regulations and requested proof and certification of my service dog. When I provided the information they still did not accept it and said it had to be a “certification”. We desperately needed a place to stay and ending up trying to “prove” my service dog is a service dog and then ended up having to pay a fee for him as well. Certification is not required or provided for all service dogs and I think places like this need to educate themselves on laws and regulations because this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.This is illegal in all 50 states. This is from the Missouri state law “ Under the ADA, a public accommodation may not ask you questions about your disability or demand to see certification or other proof of your animal's training or status.”The price point is extremely high for what this place gives you in return. I looked at pictures and reviews and upon arrival my room did not match or align with the pictures or reviews we saw on Google. I’m not sure why the room we got looks completely different from the rooms in the other reviewers photos. We paid $140 for the night- keep in mind a Best Western up the road was $140 as well.The room was very musty, and wasn’t cleaned well. (See photos for condition of room)I think this place could have a lot of potential if they put some time into regular deep cleanings, fresh paint and just more intentional cleanings between guests.This location is right off the interstate which can be a pro or a con. Pro because it’s easy to access and get back on the road easily. Con because you hear 18 wheelers blasting by all night.They have ample parking for trailers and anything you could be hauling which is nice. It seemed very safe. I wouldn’t call it shady or sketchy at all. My truck and trailer had plenty of room and were unbothered. Aside from the road noise the other guests were quiet and respectful.The owner and his dog were friendly and customer service was good aside from breaking the law.Wish I could have had a better, cleaner experience and been able to leave a high review like the others but unfortunately I didn’t experience what others did.

incredibly safe and isolated motel! if you’re staying here just grab some gas station food, there’s a fridge and microwave. harry the owner and his dog zoe were so nice and accommodating. fast checkout box in room for you to drop the key off and go!Rooms: tv, microwave and fridge, great water temp and pressure, air conditioner, beds were a bit bouncy but totally fine.Safety: there is truly nothing else around. super quiet and peaceful.

Great little, family-run motel. We were traveling with our cat. I called several motels to ask about their pet policy. Most only accept dogs. We were delighted to find this gem. Easy access off I-70, yet quiet. Room is quite clean with comfortable beds. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Another perk was to find a non-smoking pet friendly room.

My husband and I have been staying here back and forth from Colorado for the past 3 years. The owner has been very friendly and always accommodating us whenever we have stayed! We always have a clean room and he has always asked how my family and our dog who accompanied us is. Would highly recommend staying here! We will return on our next trip to see our family! DO NOT be tricked by good reviews like I was. Motel 70 is in a bad location (nowhere to eat) next to busy interstate, run-down, and creepy. We tried to check in early, NOBODY was there. When we got into our room, there was a dirty wet washcloth hanging on the shower head, icky patched walls, and grimy animal smells. We bailed and headed for Columbia. Not worth $80, and no refunds.

The price was right and the room was clean, pet friendly, beds were just right for a quick night’s stay right along the interstate. Large lot to park our truck with boat trailer. The owner was super kind, a family owned business, and even had cute holiday decorations out to feel at home.Rooms: Simple and functional (clean beds, good pillows, working fridge and microwave) nothing fancy or modern and that is not their angle. Its intended to be a clean, safe, and affordable stop along the highway.Safety: Well let, not creepy at all, not much around other than trees!

We were traveling west from West Virginia to Kansas Speedway, and this was the perfect place to stop. The rooms were clean, the water was hot, and the beds were comfortable. There is wifi, so I was able to get some work done. My husband likes TV, and there were ample channels to watch. There is also a grill and picnic table on the grounds. The owner was so nice. We plan to stop here again when our travels take us across I-70 again.

Simple, no nonsense motel. Everything was clean, towels and bed weren't too bad, shower was hot with nice pressure! The person who checked us in and out was very nice and polite! Grassy area for our pup to use and also a picnic table. The location was also nice because it was right off the highway, but far enough away to not hear anything! Overall, we had no complaints and would stay here again.Noteworthy details: They have a few pet-friendly rooms! I think the pet fee is $10 per pet per night.

We stayed at this motel last night. Quite impressed! The rooms are basic but have everything you might need. Hairdryer, microwave, fridge, all the movie channels. The gentleman at the front desk is delightful and very friendly! The bed was much more comfortable than some of the fancy hotels we've stayed at. I was a little stiff when I got up like I am at home but not in pain like I expect when we stay in a room. Recommend!

For a roadside motel this was an absolutely wonderful find. The room was spacious and very clean, the beds were super comfortable and the little touches such as a white noise machine made this overall an excellent stay. As a small family run business you can tell the care that goes into running this motel. I would recommend a night - or many nights - at motel 70 to anyone needing a stopover on rt70.

The owner is extremely kind, unlike most businesses today, this place honestly cares about its costumers. Older motel that is well kept & clean! Nice area to walk dogs, perfect location just off i-70 and you only have to walk 3 feet from your car to your room! Arby's is just 4 miles away. They supply quality bath soap & shampoo as well as real TP! What's not to love? Wish all hotels/motels could be this awesome:-)

I am so glad we came across this place. I was looking for a room under $100 in the St Louis area. Based on reviews I did not see anything in the immediate area I was comfortable with. I am glad I looked a little outside of town. This is a gem! The man at the front desk was SO nice. The room was SUPER clean! Nice and spacious as well. The room was ready for us and the a/c was set to a nice 70 degrees upon our arrival. The man at the front desk even hand delivered a bag of ice to us as we were unloading our car. I highly recommend this motel. It felt safe and it was very comfortable and accommodating. Excellent value for the price.

There is nothing else around, this is a great location! Right off the highway and no competition. We actually ended up here because we broke down. They were so accommodating and friendly. It's the 4th of July, we're still here!!!! Haha. Still broke down. They're lighting fireworks tonight and have invited us as guests to join them. We're very lucky to have found this place. The rates are fair. I do wish they had vending machines or a small necessity shop. They would benefit from it since there is nothing else around at all. Very nice backyard for kids and pets to run around. It was pretty clean for a motel off the highway honestly. I didn't feel dirty. I don't usually frequent motels because I usually feel dirty just being there. Will stay again actually as we pass this way yearly.Rooms: The room I'm in is in need of a few paint touch ups and some wall washing but the carpet is white and actually clean. The beds were clean. Lighting is ample. Has a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The water smells like well water which I expected because of the location.Safety: Very well lit. On site 24 hr management. Cameras literally everywhere. I feel safe walking around.Walkability: I think he said the nearest thing to walk to was 8 miles away. It was a gas station.Food & drinks: None. There are none. Coffee though! There is a fridge though with a small freezer! Also a microwave. Bring bottled water. There are no options for food delivery either. I mean zero, I tried hahaNoteworthy details: This is directly off the highway. It's very convenient when traveling. The lot is well lit and there are a ton of cameras everywhere. There are zero food delivery services of any kind. No pizza, Doordarshan, uber eats, grubhub.

Yes this motel was super cute and affordable. My fiancé and I love finding the mom and pop places to stay when we travel. I will recommend this motel to all my traveling friends and family.The room was perfect and we slept well. The room was very clean.Safety: The cameras and it’s off the beaten path.
