I really like this grocery store, they carry alot of products I cant find in other nearby grocery stores and you get a small town, hospitality vibe from the employees. The only reason I would complain is because the parking lot sucks to park in unless you park in front. This is usually doable because they aren't packed like a Walmart parking lot but still not fun to worry about your cart rolling away with your groceries because you have to strap kids in.

When I purchased groceries today the checker assured me all four of my coupons went through, even though I found out when I got home that one did not. The checker also scanned a bacon twice. I ended up paying much more than I saved because the checker wasn't paying attention to what they were doing. To add insult to injury, when I tried to call, so.eone just picked up the phone and hung up before I could say anything. If that is how they run their business, I will just shop elsewhere.

You should really update your Google information and your website. Google still takes you to the Carney's website which only advertises their Osceola store now. The G & W Foods website doesn't even show a Hermitage location. How are people supposed to know what's on sale. Do you think everyone in this county is 80 and still gets your sale bills in the newspaper? Well, we're not.

Break down the hamburger they sell you. Look at the color changes in the meat. I have a medical service dog, that goes crazy when I open a package of there meat. Look at it before you eat it.

Don't advertise an 8 piece chicken dinner with 2 sides then only have Chinese food for the sides the chicken is not as good as it used to be so basically your paying 20 dollars for 1 fried chicken. Aunt shittys. Chester's was better

Yes I believe that if you guys are going to be closed with doors locked at 6:55 you need to say that on your website page not 7, on your door also. All I needed to do was grab 4 things which I really needed and I would have been out of there by 7 I promise you. This is the first kind of rate and review I've ever done . I would prefer someone answer phone and have told me sorry we can't whatever tell me an excuse t I'm disappointed

Typical small town grocery. Prices aren't too high and it is clean. People are nice and we don't have to drive to Bolivar to buy a few items. Glad they are here.Update: they sold to another company. Price immediately went up.

One of the friendliest stores I've been to!Their deli is the best!! I don't know what kind of soup I got the other day but it was wonderful. Great salad bar too!

Five Star is awesome! I like the layout of the store, their fried chicken is awesome! Meat and produce is fresh and tasty 😋 they carry my favorite coffee creamer! AND the employees are very nice especially Nancy.

Great selections, even gluten free snacks. I was quite surprised to find a good selection of choices for gluten free eating in this tiny town. There are many delightful deli items, fresh produce, and well stocked cooler cases with a large variety of foods to chose from. There is a good stock of cards and gift items. There is ample parking and easy access from the main highway.This is one of the best back roads America stores I've come across in a long time. This supermarket definitely deserves a five star rating.

Small town grocery. The deli was amazing. Salad bar was great. A tad on the pricey side but good. Bought a cheesecake and got it out the next day and it had mold on it.

The problem with this place is it's too high priced for what they're selling and also you have to watch out for the expiration dates on the things you buy cuz a lot of time I'll pick it up not look at it get it home and it's expired also watch the meat they try to sell brown meat. To me once you see the meat turning brown it should be taken out of the meat counter not try to sell it at a cheap price.

Never had an issue until recently. I've been going to Fivestar more frequently since I moved right down the street from it about a month ago, but then again I've lived in the area for years so I go in there pretty often. The people have always been very kind, but a lady I had never even met threw slurs at both me and my partner while we were shopping??? Again, I have never met this lady and we were both just minding our own business (we've never said a word to her prior to this). I think her name was Morgan, but an employee told us to stray away from her after they had heard her insulting us and using slurs towards us.

They are always so kind and nice there. The problem is they like other stores just don't have what you want or need a lot of the time. The one complaint I have is: if you have an accident and are incontinent in the handicap cart please tell someone (or clean it up yourself). So some unsuspecting person(like myself) doesn't sit in urine in the handicapped cart! Just gross!

Store looks like a train wreck from the 70s. Everything is dated and gross when it comes to the interior. I don't feel comfortable buying meat here because of that. Prices are high and they close at 7pm.....7pm....really? I get closing at a reasonable time but not all of us are senior citizens who are in bed at 7:30pm. I would recommend going to Wheatlands new store. Good prices and I don't worry about contracting hepatitis while shopping.

The store was very quaint. Alot of stuff, stuffed everywhere. The staff were not helpful. They were busy talking in a group behind the counter. The fried chicken livers were big enough to have been from a hog. Most of the yellow delicious apples had been partially frozen and thawed. Upon checkout the cashier appeared as though she had just returned from a feminist rally.

Cashier was not pleasant, friendly or attentive. She paid more attention to her phone than the customer. Store overall is porrly stocked, out of sale items, dirty and smells heavily if grease from fried chicken.

Today was my first time going there. Store had a bad smell...kinda like burnt cooking oil. Butcher was friendly, cashiers were very rude, did not even get a thank you when I checked out. I think they need reminded that with out customers they will not have a job. I will never shop there again.
