We always make a stop at Adam Puchta when we are in Hermann. The atmosphere is fantastic with lots of outdoor seating, live music, and of course the cats! During Oktoberfest there’s a cover charge that I don’t love, but it does come with a wine tasting and free wine glass so that makes up for it.Of all the wineries, we enjoy the wine here the most. The Reidenstahler, Blackberry Punch, and Cat’s Meow are some of our favorites. The wine slushies are also super good!

Wine Tasting 5 StarsRestaurant 1 StarWine was good. Overall one of our favorites. I have to say I didn’t mind tipping the person doing our tasting. she was very nice and knowledgeable. We bought wine in the gift shop and it was annoying that there is a tip option for the person ringing out the bottles of wine. Why would you tip someone to run your credit card? We ordered food in the restaurant and again, there is the option for tip when you order. Isn’t taking the order and preparing the food part of your job? They give you a buzzer to come get your food. If you don’t tip or tip well enough when you order your food the buzzer doesn't go off. We sat outside for 15 or 20 minutes waiting for it to go off. It never went off when we went to get our food, it was cold.

Highlight of our trip!Delicious wine slushy, great wines for the tasting with staff who did a great job explaining everything.Lots of food choices - we had a brat, pork schnitzel sandwich and the potato pancakes…all great.The outdoor area with live music was fantastic.

We did the elevated tasting experience and had such a lovely time! Lee took great care of us and the wine is FANTASTIC! Best in Hermann in my opinion! And what's better than a winery with cats?

We arrived on Saturday oct 28th they have a wine slushy that is out of this world. Different flavors, pizza, giant pretzels, those cheese sticks are too die for.

The wine is good, the prices are not extreme. The events that happen at the winery are always fun and well planned. The have an "under ground" (literally) bistro that serves delicious food.

Winter review, I'll edit if we ever make it out during the summer.$6 tastings and you keep the glass. The wine was good. Not great, just good. The facility was very spread out. Not really a flow of seating in the winter. It's possible it makes more sense during the summer.

We loved Adam Puchta! We had just a regular wine tasting with Larry on a Friday afternoon. He was great! Saturday we went back for a private tasting. They had a charcuterie board from local shops. All very good! The wines were delicious, and Lori was wonderful and knowledgeable. This experience easily made Adam Puchta one of our favorite wineries in Hermann!

This is my wife's favorite of the wineries around hermann Missouri. The staff are excellent at what they do and are very helpful with everything. The owners are still actively out there day to day behind the counters and helping people with purchases and the like. I was told that this is the oldest winery in the nation with the original family fully involved, we are talking like the sixth and seventh generations I think.

We scheduled an elevated tasting. What a wonderful experience with a wine expert walking us through wine tasting paring with a local ingredient charcuterie board. The food was delicious, and Puchta has some fantastic wines! They have something for all. We would highly recommend the elevated tasting!

Adam Puchta Winery is our favorite Hermann winery. There is a variety of wines like no other and they are delicious! The staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is great! Snacks to compliment the wines also available. Highly recommend the wine tasting-you learn about the wines and you get to keep your glass 😉

Winery was great, food was great, bar tender was great. But the cats belonging to the winery are neglected to the point it was animal abuse. The cats have flees eye problems matted fur a some being malnourished. We assumed they were feral until the bar tender said they were indoor outdoor cats owned by the winery. 2 stars for not taking care of cats.

At Octoberfest and they are now charging $10 to get in. While they let you sample a few with the entry fee. It's not worth $10. If other wineries follow suite. We won't be coming anymore.Best thing is the bands they hired. Both are good. If this place is your jam. Just taxi here and stay.

Great winery in Hermann, MO. It was our favorite one. Everyone was really friendly. They have a couple good dry wines and lots of semi-sweet and sweet wines. Lots of patio and outdoor space to sit. Take the trolley out there. We went on a Friday and wasn’t packed at all.

Not a wine person, but the experience and wines were phenomenal! Adams Choice is an incredible wine. Loved the atmosphere and service of the tasting! Will definitely make a stop here a staple of any visit to Hermann.

Great tasting wine, great atmosphere! My family did the private tasting with Lee and she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The private tasting with charcuterie board was indoors with no line for only $20 more per person, would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time at Adam Puchta winery. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the tasting room was cozy and inviting, and the wines were delicious. They have some of my favorite Missouri wines, especially the Norton and the Vignoles. Adam's Choice is my all-time favorite! I also enjoyed their cheese and sausage platter, which paired well with the wines. The winery has a lot of history and charm, and I loved learning about their family tradition and heritage. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful, and I had a lovely picnic on their lawn with a bottle of wine. I highly recommend Adam Puchta winery to anyone who loves wine and wants to support a local business.

One of my top two wineries in Hermann! The $5 sampling fee covers 8 samples which is more than most, and you can add dessert wine tastings for only $1 a piece. The wines are fantastic! The customer service was excellent, even though a bus of a wedding party visited yesterday with no reservation or notice and clogged the place up unexpectedly. If you let them know a large group is coming, they can staff properly! I hope to be back every time we visit, though. Can't get enough!

Nice little winery in the rolling hills of Hermann. My wife and I stayed at the Cabin on the property and it was lovely. Quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded getaway. Only 5 minutes from downtown Hermann.

I had never heard of this place until last weekend, and what a gem! Drive just a few minutes down Hwy 100 and check them out! Lots of parking, beautiful fall setting and the trolley does make a stop there. Perfect for Oktoberfest or any other weekend.

Having lived in the Northern California Bay Area for years with Napa just a stone's throw away, I somewhat hesitantly came to Hermann to taste the wines. I quickly realized the error of my preconceived notions. Adam Puchta offers a large variety from dry to sweet, both red and white, so every member of our party could taste something new and something they knew they'd enjoy. We purchased a few bottles and cannot wait to share them. One note: when tasting both reds and whites, I might suggest getting two glasses. Some whites ended up with a bit of red in them which might have affected the tasting.
