Adopted from Goode Life back in spring of 2018. Our staffy mix, Bo, is the best dog we've ever had and we're grateful for the addition to our family. Thank you for your work in saving animal lives and finding them forever homes. How anyone could downvote/1* review a group of people who VOLUNTEER their time to save animal lives is beyond me. Shame on them.

My day was ruined by Goode Life Pet Rescue after being told less than 24hrs ago my application for vinny is approved  this kitten was adopted  and only found out when i called pet smart while driving out there to get her. The email told me to set up a meet and greet but i called,no answer, emailed no answer then later got a email telling me meet and greets are done at pet smart just be there by 3pm. And by 2 pm this cat was gone. This whole  process was stressful as it is since you cant actually speak to anyone  then says you have to set up appointment  on your website, but then cant get an appointment because there are none you just go to petsmart and if you get there fast enough you may or may not get the pet you had your heart set on.  This is my first and last experience with a shelter. Never again. Why even show a sign "by appointment only" when you will give the animal to the first one to show with the fee. Forget the person who kept inquiring about this and letting you all know we wanted this little girl ,i did not know people got this treatment from the people who worked at these shelters but this will be the last time i do this process. I will never forget this. Its like having another pet death in the family  when they give away the very pet you were approved for. And ive seen others get this treatment in here but I assure everyone this is the rescue i went through,not a different one in the same area .You have no location the address showing on this google listing is a storage lot or whatever but there are no pets to come get from the address so i have the correct shelter. I have emailed so many times i have the correct one.Do Better and treat adopters with more respect. We have a heart  for pets stop breaking them!

There was a kitten I was very interested in. Their email isn't working, everything gets returned undeliverable. I've tried calling and leaving messages. I have even filled out an application to no avail. I understand this isn't a conventional rescue with a place with the animals, meaning they are in foster homes and not a facility. But over a week with no response is just plain sad for the animals that are wanted but can't get adopted because no one wants to actively try to get them adopted out.

When we applied to adopt an older dog they promptly notified us that they would consider our application. Within 2 days we had been approved. When we picked up Peanut, we left his medical records and rabies tag. The people at Goode Life were able to locate them and mail them to us. We're very happy with our new family member.

Staff is helpful. Office fails to return phone calls. The staff does their best to find great homes for homeless animals and they'll go the extra mile if necessary.

Got painfully reminded why I don't adopt from shelters by the mean and cruel staff who decided to publicly humilate me on my social media regarding an adoption I was trying to complete, leaving me mortified. I had to deactive my social media for awhile afterwards. I don't know what I did to deserve such cruel treatment, all I wanted to do was give an animal its forever home, I even had already went out bought all the supplies because I was so excited. Apparently the staff think public humiliation is the appropriate approach to circumstances that are beyond your control. They even threatened to call the police on me if if tried to start a scene, which I had no intentions of doing, nor did I even show any signs of aggression, I was heartbroken. You also should beware, they like to stalk all your socials. I will continue to adopt only from family and friends. Please be careful, and have a nice day.

I cannot say enough good things. My entire experience working with TGLPR has been amazing. Stacy and team were great with fast and clear communication. I did wind up adopting a dog that was the perfect fit! The team clearly cares so much for in animals in their care. They try their very best to set you and your adopted pet up for success and a smooth transition. If you're considering adopting, this is definitely the place to go!

We were told we had a puppy, and to pick him up at a fosters home. The foster mother made an excuse as to why we couldn't get the dog on the assigned day. I felt something wasn't right. My daughter was told by this shelter that the dog we paid for and was promised was adopted weeks ago! I certainly don't understand this at all. We are heart broken and the place where we were to pick the dog up is an empty lot. I cannot recommend this place at all or ever.

My mom filled out an adoption application during the week and got accepted for the cat she wanted the day after. She went to go pay for her on adoption day and they sold her cat right in front of her to someone else. She even told them that she’s the one they talked to a week prior and they didn’t care. This place is just money hungry and unfair. Wouldn’t recommend coming to them.

I've adopted a dog and cat from the Goode Life and am so happy to have them both in my life. The entire organization is first rate, excellent care for the animals and concern for placing their animals in the right home. Their vet partner agreement is great and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pet!

Recently adopted a dog named Jackie from this rescue. We've been actively attempting to adopt from area rescues for over two months to not avail. Fate slowly steered us in the direction of this amazing rescue. We now have our furever dog and she now has her forever humans. God bless you guys!

All the staff was very helpful when we arrived at Pet Smart today. Just completed a couple ofForms and walked out with Heidi and Sadie in less than an hour. They played in the yard and currently Heidi is on the couch and Sadie is on the floor both sleeping. First few hours went very well,.

I can not thank this organization enough. You all have done a tremendous job over the time I have personally worked with you and for you. I loved fostering for you and also anytime I had a litter of puppies and a mom you have taken them in when so many others just wanted the puppeoes. You have taken on some medical cases no one else would as well. Anyone would be lucky to work with you or adopt from you.

Animals always look sad and defeated when I visit. The staff are always rude, and overall that's what always keeps me from adopting from shelters in general. It ain't just this shelter, but they're definitely, massively apart of the problem.

Everyone was cheerful and helpful. The only thing zI did not care for was being threatened that they would come and take the dog if they saw him chained to a tree outside. That was rude and not needed. There is a polite and kind way to get your point across

It's pretty crazy that you are required to set up an appointment to adopt an animal, on top of that you can't call and talk to anyone either, you have to leave a message and wait for a call back. Do you want to get these animals adopted or not?
