Everything is above retail price. They do carry alot more than Lowes or home depot. The clothing section is awesome. I just wish there prices went down or Missouri s 11 percent sales tax.

This store has a wide variety of products and services. The employees seem nice and the atmosphere is welcoming. I love the baby chick's. There are a variety if those as well.

Had a great shopping day at this Buchheit today with my husband. They had everything we were looking for and more. The store was clean, the bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly and they made sure to open more checkout lanes to service their customers quickly when only a few people were in line. They are still taking precautions for Covid where a lot of other places have began to slack off. Tracy was the associate that checked me out and she was friendly, smiled and talked with me as she rang me up and got me bagged up and checked out in no time. She was a true pleasure and took pride in her job. I will be sure to shop at this location from now on.

I loved it in here. They have almost everything. It reminded me of another store with a little bit of anything in it... Grandpa Pigeons/Grandpa's. Anyway keep up the good work and the good vibes from your extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. I wish we had 1 in our town, until we do we'll just have to use This great store in Herculaneum.

One star is too kind but zero stars is not allowed. Absolutely full of incompetent employees!! Twice now they have miserably failed at such simple tasks. 1. Called to ask if they service chainsaws onsite before I made the 45 minute drive out there. They said yes so I took the trip. Got there and then the ignorant incompetent employees said they have to send them off to perryville for service. 2. Got a flat tire on my trailer at the Valles Mines exit on a Sunday. No one around the area was opened or had the tire I needed. I called this Buchheits and the incompetent employee said they had what I needed. Drove all the way there only to find out they did not have the rim and tire I needed. This location is absolutely filled with dumb lazy incompetent employees.

People are helpful. I get animal sanctuary supplies there such as equine food and pellets. Cat food and accessories and dog food and accessories. Helpful and even help me carry the heavier items to my vehicle

There is a gentleman that works in the paint/plumbing department named Mike. He went WELL out of his way to help my dad and myself when we came in and had questions about his wood burning stove. Mike was exceptionally knowledgeable to my father's needs from start to finish. He was absolutely amazingly friendly as well even with the hundred questions we had for him, his patience and composure were absolutely excellent. He is of the VERY FEW that showed us what and where to go without just pointing in the general direction, and saying it's down there. (There are a few that work where the screws and stuff are that just point). When I told him I was going to leave a review he said it wasn't necessary that he was happy to help and it was his pleasure to provide us with information. You got a GREAT employee there hope to see him there for a long time to come. Thanks again MikeBecause of him we will be back to shop at Herculaneum Buchheits

My hot water heater went out on Friday night, November 3rd. We had a busy weekend planned . Went to Jefferson County for a family gathering. While in town, I went to Buchheits to get a hot water heater. I had one picked out that would work. But I would need some extra plumbing to make it work. I ask an employee to help with gathering up what I would need. They informed me that there was another product that would work although it was a 40 gallon tank. I ask wouldn't that be too big to fit in place of the 30 gallon I had picked out. I was assured that it would work. I planned on installing it on Sunday night. As I prepared to install the water heater it was too large. My wife had to drive an hour and a half back to return the tank. Apparently, the knowledge level of the employees helping me was not adequate. This was not a good experience.

I went there to buy a bunch of bags of dog food apparently you have to be in a club but the way you got it worded the price was $18.99 so that means this club price should have been the price when I get up there and pay for all that dog food it came out a lot more than I thought and she did not even offer me to get in the club. Buchheit has a wide range of good products for lawn & garden, livestock, pets, home construction projects, tools and equipment, and hunting supplies. The only downside was that they were a little understaffed and it was difficult to find help in some departments.

Building Supplies was so helpful when we went in for corrugated steel roofing. Everyone was SO kind and friendly, what a wonderful shopping experience! I believe the manager's name was Nancy.I asked if they had what I was looking for somewhere else just because online says they have 5 and I couldn't find it with all the rest of that product, her reply was why would we put it in 2 different spots. Sorry for asking you a question. So I did a little walking around myself and found it in a different isle. Thanks for not helping

Bought some chick's. 1st time raising chickens. Can't remember the guy's name that helped us. We had many questions for him. And he was very knowledgeable and very patient and helped us the entire time. Great staff.

This year we have bought about $500 worth of chicks from here and all but $40 of them.have died of markers. I have told several employees and 1 manager even refused to replace my chicks like their policy states teling me its my fault they died and she wont replace birds i murdered. I have had chickens/ducks/quail for several years and never had this problem. The only reason im giving it 2 starts is because some of the workers are super sweet

I have an ongoing building project that I've ordered exterior metal for on numerous occasions. It's cut to my specs so it's usually a week lead time. The worst part though is you never know when it comes in, because even though they take your phone number down, they absolutely will not call you. A simple phone call is out of the question. You have to do all the communication and sometimes even find out where it is in the yard. After this project, I'll never special order anything thru them. The customer service is a joke.

I shop for collagen casings so I can try to make beef sticks, and as always Buchheit's never lets me down, and as a transgender woman I felt quite comfortable even though I could not find my magic carpet cleaner and I know it is an extremely rare product they told me they were temporarily out of stock
