I have a pack of four, ranging in age from 5 months to 11 years and I couldn't imagine another doctor caring for my companions! Doctor Early is always excited to see my pups and they are very comfortable with him. Patty in the office is always very nice. Love this vet!

I could not even start to explain how much stress Dr. Early has saved me. I would trust him with my own life. He has always been so sweet to my pup even when my pup was an A-hole too him. My baby recently got shot in the face by a crackhead, and doctor early has taken such good care of him. I owe dr. early so much more than i’ll ever be able to repay him for saving my baby.

I had to have my best friend euthanized today. I have had Shotzie for 14 wonderful years. She REALLY was such a good dog. 🐕 ❤️Dr. Early and staff were so very kind and accomodating. If this awful kind of event can possibly be made any more bearable, they helped make it so. Thank you so much.

Almost feel bad leaving this review, but I want other pet owners to be aware. Staff and Dr.Early are very nice, but he provides minimal care to pets. Dr. Early had seen my cat two times, and both times, he did NOT do a thorough examination. Told me my cat had gum disease, but absolutely nothing to treat it. Now my cat may have to get ALL teeth pulled. Took her to a new vet, and right off the bat they did a full exam, and found she had an ear infection/mites. This could have been caught IF Dr. Early did a proper exam. Lastly, DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL TO DR. EARLY TO GET SPAYED. He will NOT provide any medication after for pain, which is not normal in the slightest.

Dr Early treated my Boomer earlier this week. I found him to be very knowledgeable and he was really efficient. I loved that he asked for me to call Friday for a progress report on how Boomer was doing. He also gave me further instructions on what I needed to do. I think he is a very good doctor

Worst animal clinic ever. Went to Murphy animal hospital and they did so many things that this place didn’t do. Took my cat there and they didn’t do anything about their gums or ears. They just want money. Keep telling you next time so they can just keep getting paid. Don’t recommend at all. Anywhere else is better. Tried to get my cat spayed here too they don’t provide any medicine after (crazy)

Absolutely horrible experience with this old school veterinarian. Had our 2 year old male dog neutered by Dr. Early and the neutering procedure was fine other than the fact that this vet doesn't believe in giving post op medication for inflammation, pain, or infection.Asked him about this and he said that male dogs usually do fine and don't need medications. He didn't give us anything and our dog's incision site had swollen up into a giant ball. Called after a few days and this vet suggested we give our dog regular Tylenol for his pain and swelling. We wasn't about to give our dog Tylenol so we had to go to another vet that is trusted by the family and they about fell over after we told them everything. They immediately helped our dogs swollen incision site and prescribed pain medication, something for sedation, and antibiotics. If we hadn't done anything our dog may be dead by now due to infection and the extreme amount of pain he was in. Absolutely a disgrace to think a male dog doesn't need pain medication for a surgery such as a neutering. I do not recommend this vet to anyone and will never go back. I suggest people stay far far away from this place as this vet doesn't believe male dogs can feel pain.

Doctor Early always takes amazing care of our animals. He's like the dog whisperer. My dog has terrible anxiety when going to the vet. As soon as Doctor Early walks in he gets totally calm. He's been taking care of us for years and will continue to be our go to vet hopefully for years to come. A++

0 stars if I could it would be a 5 negative stars. Rude and disrespectful on how they handle animals and talk to me .My dogs were scared the whole time because of how dr Early handled them. I didn’t like it . He acted scared of my animals. Never going here again. I I would hope others would not either.. lord help this man because you came into the animal business long time ago and you continue to handle animals the wrong way.

I have taken my German Shepherd/Boxer mix to many different vets in the 6 years I’ve had him. He has hated every single vet I’ve ever taken him to except for Dr. Early. Dr. Early understands that he is a very nervous boy and makes sure he is calm before doing anything. If he has a moment of fear, Dr. Early let’s him calm down and continues. I truly could not ask for a better vet for my nervous boy. If you have a dog that doesn’t like being surrounded by multiple vet techs I would highly suggest this vet! He is very professional and understands every animal is different in their own way!

Just moved into the area and was impressed with the reviews about Dr. Early and the Herculaneum Animal Clinic. I found a wonderful, compassionate doctor for my precious fur baby. And when just a couple of weeks after her initial visit she fell and injured herself, they got her in that morning and took wonderful care of her and followed up with me for several days to see how she was doing. Great place and HIGHLY recommend them.
