I visited here earlier today in search of a small fan. Duane, the stock clerk, was so very helpful. He showed me three different places where the fans were. They were on the top shelf... no wonder I didn't see them. The one he recommended works great! Thank you so much, Duane, for the awesome help!Note to self.... they even sell my hairdye! XoXoXoX

Crowded, junky aisles, 2 people can't be on aisle at once, stock all over in way, horrible shopping experience. Store just too small for that type of business. Not too friendly cashiers as well.

Most of the staff is very rude. They follow you around like you are trying to steal stuff from the store. I was in there one day and when I got ready to check out the cashier asked me where was the items at that I had stolen? I had to let her look in my purse to show her that I had not stolen anything. She never apologized as a matter of fact she went as far as to tell other customers in the store that she was going to catch me stealing from that store. The store is always messy boxes all over the place I have even picked up stuff that was knocked over in the floor just so I could get down the isle. I think the DG needs to look really hard at its employees in the HAYTI, MO. STORE

As with all the Dollar Generals the prices are very reasonable and most all the paper products are even cheaper than Walmart. This store was friendly enough, but nearly every aisle had something in the floor that had to be pushed or moved outta the way in order to steer cart through

We have a dollar general store here in hayti mo it need new management because the one that's here it's working when the trucks come in the stuff comes in it doesn't get put on the store shelves it sits on the floors r at the end of the owls for days then when you go to check out u stand in for 20 min r longer to get checked out ppl r leaver here am go to kett min to buy what thay need what good is this store to us

The dollar store. Is a typical store. But the boot heel Missouri area is one of the weirdest places I've ever been in my life. Flat Flat, Flat land. No privacy at all no hills or woods in between homes. A good pair of binoculars or a scope you could see that the Earth is round... You could look across afield and not see nothing but stand in the bed of my truck a few feet higher and look across the same field you see a whole new field and homes... The police in Steele Missouri know everyone in there town and they like to harass out of towners. Never seen so many people who are nosey. I was there with my wife visiting her son. The 1st night the police rolled up on my wife and I and said they got a call saying she was being held against her will. We were there for only 4 and it was just my wife her son and myself and we were going back to our motel. The next few days while at her son's house I would see the police ride by and pull over about a mile down the road and the same 5 cars from these apartments not all at once but one would pull out go talk to him and and the would come by his house then the next one would pull out and go talk to him and make way by her boys house real slow but the same 5 cars. Her boy told me that the town was full of 🐀 cheese eaters. So if your ever in the area of Steele Missouri be very very quiet There hunting wabbit around those parts. And you better be as slick as bugs bunny if you have out of town tags on your vehicle

Dollar General is one of my favorite stores and until recently the store in Hayti MO was a good example of them. My guess is that manager of the store changed. If you go to the store in Hayti expect : to have a wait of 5-20 minutes to check out, to have to dodge around merchandise waiting to be put on the shelves, for @ 5-10% of the shelves to be empty of inventory. Go to the store in portageville (clean well run and it is the expanded items store)

They have came along way they have hired a new Crew they where busy stocking the shelves today . the cashier Loretta was very pleasant.soefficient The assist manager very helpful .they have done a great job .😅😄

It's ok. The store isn't very clean and the shelves aren't kept straight. They need a stern manager to get in there and get it done. Other than that I guess it's ok

The employees were terribly rude, the store a mess, you can barely get up and down aisles and of course there is only one cashier- I believe that is true for all dollar generals. Dont go if you are in a hurry!
