I am so happy with the service I received at Prairie Tails Spa. Not many groomers are willing to take on cat grooming, so I was thankful to find them. I've never had a pet groomed before and decided to go here based on the great reviews. I have a former street cat turn indoor love bug that needed a good deep cleaning. Samantha and the team were punctual and communicated a lot; they answered all of my questions in a timely manner. When I picked up my cat, he was so calm and clean! He peed in his kennel before I arrived, and they cleaned it out for me. Their service level is above and beyond. If you're in need of cat grooming, I'd recommend Prairie Tails Spa. I bring my fluffo in to get groomed regularly and real talk: she hates water and any tail/butt area touching. But Sam, the owner, got her looking beautiful and smelling good. My dog, brat❤️ that she can be, tried to take off a finger....Sam wasn't phased and has sooo much patience for the animals in her care. I will forever be grateful that I found a groomer who still loves my pup even after dealing with her less-than-pleasant side.

We have a Bernese mountain dog. We vacuum 7 days a week because of how bad he sheds. We brush him 2 to 3 times a week and still MORE FUR!!! 😳😳😳. We started going to Prairie Tails Spa about 3 months ago. He comes back looking like a puppy. Fluffy and shiny! When he comes back home he doesn’t shed nearly as much. Highly recommend the fine folks at PTS.

Always take my English Cream Golden Retriever there, they always do an amazing job with him. He feels great when he leaves. The staff is A+ for the patience they have with the animals and how handsome my dude is when he's done!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!! Picked up our dogs today and one of them was covered in something that was wet and smelled rancid. Her legs were brown from the top down to her feet. She was far dirtier then when I dropped her off. Apparently they had left her in a kennel with water running that was flowing dirty rancid water into her kennel and forgot about it. Accidents happen but it wouldn't have been as big of an issue if the place wasn't literally disgusting. Its very very unkept and smells terrible inside. Both our dogs came home smelling like the inside of the establishment which is far from pleasant. They also have several animals free roaming and our dogs were allowed to be in contact with them. They do not leash the dogs when they bring them to you and simply let them out and hand you the leash. So the dogs naturally come in contact with every animal roaming. They also have a large unkept bird cage that has bird droppings all over the floor. Another aroma and substance for your animals to contact. Oh and almost forgot. The time before when my wife went to pick up our dogs there was no one to help her because they told her they were busy trying to locate LOOSE RACCONS in the building. Apparently the owner also rescues wild animals and brings them there and they are in the same building and can escape and come in contact with your pet while they aren't watching!!! Stay away!!!

Been using Sam since before she own Prairie Tails Spa. Her service now is only different in the fact that it now her own establishment rather than working for others. To her, the animals come first and she will always recommend what is best for the animal. Some may not realize that different breeds require different grooming needs. She knows the difference and always provides impeccable care to the dog. Knowing the background of not just her, but her business and the type of people she would employ, I would trust the shop with any of my furbabies. This isn't just a job for these folks, this is life.

I have had Goldendoodles for 12 years and have NEVER been happier with their grooming. She has such a gift with animals. It’s obvious she tailors her approach to the unique needs of the pet and goes out of her way to make them comfortable. Sometimes you find a groomer who is really good with your dog, but their grooming skills aren’t great. Then, you find someone who really knows their craft but stresses your dog out. Finally! Found the unicorn! Exceptional service, true love of animals and a master groomer!

Can I just say WOW! The level of patience and kindness this woman has towards animals is amazing. I have a 12yr old doxi with a previous back injury, so I'm always nervous taking him places. Prairie Tails was not only kind to him but soooo patient. She didn't push him to do anything he didn't want to and really treated him as if he was her own pet. She is adaptable to what your dog is comfortable with doing and that really makes a difference. Not only will I be back but I'm telling all my friends and family about them as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Not only were we able to get our dog in quickly, but they did an excellent job. They were kind, informative, and even gave us some advice to prepare her for the next visit. She had only been groomed one other time and was a little nervous. They seemed to really care about the animals they serve.

Walked in today with our 2 German Shepherds to have their nails trimmed. They were fantastic with our girls and Rebecca was wonderful in giving us tips about how to handle the anxiety our older dog has.
