My cat showed signs of a possible uterine blockage and upon calling, I was able to get her in immediately. The doctors and nurses are very transparent regarding treatment plans and pricing. There are no unnecessary steps taken to rack your bill up. Another great thing about this clinic is the pricing, had I gone anywhere else I would have spent twice what I did for surgery. Dr. Hess was very attentive post-surgery, calling to check up on Luna and myself. Thanks for such a great experience!

Even when I move farther away, I continue to go here because the prices are fair, and the ladies have always taken the best care of my dogs. When my dog passed, they sent me a letter with his paw print and they cried with me. They understand any concern you have and treat yours as theirs. I appreciate all the ladies who have helped and worked here over the years. I will continue to refer this place to people and go myself. Thank you Harrisonville Animal Clinic for all that you do!!

Running a little late. Won't let me put up a flyer to raise money for a service dog for my son and I for a rare condition. This is not the first time they have ran late or had issues with them. Idk about this! They are a vet, why would they be against helping out a client?

love harrisonville animal clinic. they’ve always been very kind and calm to me, which means a lot especially since my dog is a huge barker when he sees other dogs so vet trips always fill the both of us with anxiety. they’re always so loving and patient with my dog when he’s anxious and having a hard time opening up. i really appreciate vet staff like them :)

I brought my cat to Dr Hess for roughly a year. He kept getting sick with what I thought at the time was chronic sinus infections. My mom, who has seen Dr Hess for years with MANY of our animals, assured me she was great and reasonably priced. Keep in mind, throughout the year I took my cat to see her, I never personally met her one time or even spoke to her on the phone which I thought was strange (and frankly awful bedside manners). She supposedly xrayed my cats lungs and found “severe inflammation” which led her to an asthma diagnosis. Never saw the X-rays. I kept arguing and asking how asthma would cause thick, green mucus to come out of his nose that he blows out all over my house… because in humans, green means infection. Nope, she wouldn’t budge that it was asthma. She had me trying all kinds of drugs on him, mostly steroids which stopped working completely. When I moved, back in August, I saw a new vet who at first agreed it was asthma because he wasn’t having a flare up. I took him back in recently during a flare, and the vet said “anything other than clear discharge is absolutely a sign of infection” and diagnosed him with chronic rhinitis. Not only that, but, magically his lungs are perfectly clear and not inflamed at all… So, now, my not even 4 year old cat has to live with sinus infections and will have to rotate antibiotics for the rest of his life because Dr Hess refused to listen to me, when this could have been prevented with earlier, PROPER treatment. Very disappointing.

My dog got hit by a car & I had to wait 2 days to take her to a vet, thot in situations like that vets would see her. Even tho I'd never been there B4 & didn't know they're appointment only, figured vets are vets cuz they care, right? Not really. These ppl let me & my 2 dogs sit outside on their sidewalk for almost an hour, refused to see her. And the temp was like 27° so eff them, too!

We waited over 50 minutes for our appointment. We arrived early and waited patiently. We were the only people in the clinic. No apologies for our inconvenience. We miss Dr. Morse. It will be our last visit.

They are horrible THEY KILL ANIMALS!!!! So I was just reading some of these reviews and I'm seriously thinking the staff must be posting these reviews!!!! Because we just lost a 2nd dog to this most noncompassionate so called vet clinic!!! Didn't bother notifying anyone UNTIL AFTER he had passed all alone in that miserable place!!!!!

I took my dog into be boarded on Saturday. We wanted to pick him up the next day but were told we couldn't because they were closed on Sunday. I was assured that someone comes in on Sundays and cares for the dogs. I picked him up this morning and he has not stopped crying. When he got home he immediately went to his water bowl. I've never seen him drink so fast and so much. He is not acting like himself at ALL. If you are looking for a place to board your dog this is definitely not the place to go.

They saved our mastiff’s life. His stomach has flipped and he was in bad shape when we brought him in. They took him back and got to work. He made it through and has recovered beautifully. We’re so thankful for them!

I truly used to love this vet office. So much so that even after I moved an hour away I would still bring my animals to them. One of my dogs is on a prescription for his epilepsy and I called today to get a refill (he only had 2 pills left and I told them that), to which they told me that I would have to bring him in for a wellness check and blood work but that they could give me enough to hold him over until his next appointment if I scheduled it right then. Which was great because I told them it was not possible for me to get him in for a few weeks due to my work schedule, the short notice of this, and living an hour away. Then after putting me on hold multiple times, the vet tech came back and told me that they actually can’t give me a single pill until he comes in for blood work. So basically they gave me 1 day notice to bring him in for “yearly blood work” that they have never informed me of being a requirement before to get his medicine. I understand policies and was so willing to bring him in for an appointment but I HAD to get his prescription refilled immediately as he was almost out and I was about to go out of town for a week. I am so disappointed in how this tech handled the situation and how little she seemed to care about my animals need for a reliant medication, when that is quite literally supposed to be her job.

We’ve been taking our geriatric dog and young cat to Harrisonville Vet Clinic for the past three years, and it’s the best service we’ve ever had (we used to live in Independence MO and tried a few clinics there). They went above and beyond when our kitty became deathly ill. We appreciate their compassion and down-to-earth approach to pet care. The prices are also totally reasonable.

Used to absolutely love this place and now ever since COVId, all I’m allowed is drop-offs and I hate that I can’t be there and speak to the vet in person. I probably won’t be coming back here after today for this reason. I took my dog in to be seen for seasonal allergies this morning around 9 and it is now 4pm and the lady tells me they will be calling me “within the next few hours”. It’s a Friday and I don’t have all day to wait around to go pick her back up for something so simple. The fees here are very affordable and they are great usually about working with me on what is actually needed for my dog instead of selling me things I don’t need, that’s why I loved them. However, not with the new COVId protocols AND the gentleman that was veterinarian that I loved has since retired and I never get to actually see the vet anyway. I will most likely find somewhere closer to home because I dread dropping my dogs off here lately.

Called to see if I could get my dog in the kennel area for the weekend and they assured me there would be no problem. This is his first stay in a kennel and I was anxious but they let me know he would be fine and would have a great time. We will see I pick him up on Monday!

Went here when my GF puppies passed. They dealt with me in a very kind and meaningful way. Helpfull in all the tough choices as to what I will get back. In the short wait I was watching their techs interactions with the other customers and the animals that were their. I would never hesitate to go back to this vet office for any of there services. They were well priced and very professional and caring in all of the dealings that I had and or observed.

Update: They have taken excellent care of my pups over the years. Today was a sad visit as we helped our senior over the rainbow bridge. As heart breaking as it was I must give them credit. It was done with privacy, pet comfort, and my emotional comfort taken into account. They were amazing and I will continue to see them for all my pet care.Had my pups teeth cleaned and two bad teeth pulled. They were great with him. He was scared when i droped him off but by the time he was ready to come home he was happy and wagging at all the ladys there. His teeth look great! And all for just under $100. I have been taking my fur babies here for a few years now and i have never had an issue with service knowledge or price. Highly recommended.
