I AM OBSESSED with Family Center!!! They are nice. Like SO SO nice. Helpful to the max in every department. Also, it is easy to talk to and all-around friendly. I prefer to support a small business, and oh my goodness, do they have the BEST most UNIQUE items.From boots to bird feeders, pretty much every kind of animal food you'd need (farm animals to pets), they have tools, clothes, a section that reminds me of Home Depot (a CORPORATION) with all the nuts and bolts and ladders, paint, etc. There is an area where they sell lawn equipment, and they fix it, too.We get our hay, soil, and all that from there. Also, super important when you live in a rural area is the medicine and supplies they sell. Our chickens get bumblefoot every spring, and they sell all the supplies so we can successfully do the procedure at home.They sell coops, candy, soda pop, and toys. It's like an amazing, contemporary general store, but way better! Okay, so saving the best for last (at least for me) is all of the lawn decorations, home decor, gifts, KU, and Mizzou and Chiefs gear.I'm not proud to say this, but it shows my dedication to the store, they had to shut off the lights and be like, sorry ma'am, we are closing early for the 4th of July.It's a full-on experience. And when they get the baby chicks in the spring omg and I really SUPER OBSESSED. They get a far greater variety of chicks than Tractor Supply, which is a corporation anyway.Whether you live along with the way or are merely driving through, you HAVE to stop at Family Center. It's just one of those kinds of places.I got ALL of my Mother's Day presents from Family Center. I can't wait until Christmas!!They are very friendly to veterans and currently enlisted military, which means a lot to me. They sell military memorabilia, such as artillery holders, etc. My son loves that, and he has many of those pieces.My baby got that huge stuffed chicken (named Chicken Leigh), and my son got a t-shirt, hat, and wrist-band combo for the Air Force, where he intends to go to the Academy. There is something here for everyone. I want to go up there now.

Love shopping in-store and using the online shopping and in-store pickup option as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They carry our favorite brand of dog food that we can’t find anywhere else locally or online and it’s always in stock at the store, so never a disappointment.

I love visiting this store when I come to town. They usually have what I'm looking for and then some. The associates are warm, friendly, and helpful. The store is always clean, organized, and well stocked.

Something for everyone and worth checking out. This place has a wide variety of things, from purfume to bales of hay, tons of pet supplies (from chicks to horses), hardware, plumbing, electric, clothing, mowers and saws, toys, boots, fencing, candies and sodas. Not much or any lumber. Some of the prices are high but they sale quality products that last. The management is responsive and treated me right on a mower situation. They have a skilled small engine service department that can usually get you fixed in about a week. The older staff is really knowledgeable and helpful, but I find some of younger employees less friendly and customer service aware, hence the four stars. I also wish they installed automatic doors for an easier exit. This is a small chain business with about six locations. Inventory seems to stay well stocked, but if they don't have it they can sometimes pull the item from another store and make it available for pick-up soon.

Family Center has always been a memorable place for me since I was little kid. I'll always enjoy my time here. They've really expanded the variety of new merchandise to choose from in all departments of the store. Definitely a great and locally owned store to do business with.

Family center in Harrison Ville Missouri is an excellent place to shop. They were wide variety of products that could be used in the farm or steel post chemicals. They also have excellent shoes and boots. I believe them to be a good store for our community Kent Jones.

Great hardware shop and animal feed stores. Purchased a pair boots. They are so comfy. Right off the bat I can see they carry quality products, and I feel and see quality in the boots.

Great staff and a wide selection at fair prices. The Dewalt inventory, and frequent sales, are impressive. Could use rigging gear for lifting. Everything seems to be tow rated, which can work in a pinch, but isn't the right spec for overhead lifting.

Tried to exchange a pair of jeans that were purchased a few days previous that were the wrong size and was denied cause they say they were washed lol so now I have a $100.00 pair of jeans I have to eat. Great return policy I see so double check what you buy from here cause you may have to hang onto it for awhile if it's the wrong item.
