I have been going to this store for years and I spend anywhere from $200- $400 A WEEK THERE,especially around the holidays around $300-$500 would be a good estimate.I am in that store EVERYDAY for something.Today when I was at the checkout the manager said sorry to inform you but you are not allowed in here anymore I said WHAT?She said you took toilet paper you didnt pay for we seen you on camera I said when was this?She said couple of weeks ago.I already had my car emptied and was getting my cash out to pay.She just walked off!!!I was dumbfounded and went to my car.I almost went back in but decided it wouldn't be a good idea,so when I got home I called the store line was busy then my phone rang and was doller general.Person on the other end said Yea did you need something?O said is this the manager and they hung up!!!I spend ALOT OF MY MONEY IN THAT STORE AND TO BE ACCUSSED OF TAKING A BIG PACK OF TOILET PAPER FROM OUTSIDE IS RIDICULOUS !!!IF I TOOK IT I PAID FOR IT!!!!!!!!AND SHE SAID IT WAS A COUPLE WEEKS AGO?COME ON NOW!!!!!!!BUT THATS OKAY I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE,NO WONDER THEY CANT KEEP ANY HELP.I WILL KEEP CALLING UNTIL I DO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND THEY BETTER SHOW ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one in Oakwood is the one where I do my shopping. It's a new store and very nice one at that. I buy tons of stuff there and usually I am not disappointed. Their employees are really nice and helpful and the store is well appointed. They have added lots of different food stuffs and goodies that's hard to resist! If you haven't shopped there I suggest you try it. .. you may be surprised.

I had not recently been to the Dollar General store in Oakwood, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find it much cleaner, well lit & organized than ever before! Staff are professional, helpful & courteous.

Just another dollar general and they all have their faults but they're about convenience and affordability. This one has that but it's also dirty in their and overcrowded. The aisles are almost too close to each other and it always seems like there's only one person working. So you'll have to find it yourself.

My 11 year old daughter is mixed and has naturally curly hair. Dollar General is a convience store to us that we use atleast 8 times per month. They carry NO products for African American girls (or boys). I think it's racially inclined due to the fact I've never seen a black employee there either..

No one does there job, price for dog food 21.00 at display, 26.00 at checkout. This happened a week ago and price still at 21.00 one week later. The manager knew about the price increase but to lazy to change price at display. Terrible management!

Fast and friendly service with low cost items to purchase. Name brands are available . Good location with plenty of parking. Numerous specialties to choose from, various categories of items of assorted variety. For efficient shopping, add this place to your list of places to check out.

Held up 19 minutes waiting for customer ahead of me to pay. Keep in mind the cashier is doing her job. The customer could not make her card work. After 4 attempts cashier calls manager up to help. Wrong pin card won't work for cash no funds available Finally she pulled out cash and saved the day sadly no cat food or ice tea !!!!

Confusing place. Merchandise stacked in almost every aisle.Almost impossible to social distance !Very disappointed in the digital app. Scan part of the app for pricing unreliable.

Frozen and cooler almost empty. No eggs. Clerk said truck 3 fays late with delivery. Need to keep on stock...happens too much customers will go elsewhere.
