I had a really great first time visit to this store today!! The manager, Tanesha, was friendly, helpful and took her time to tell me about all of the clearance and sales going on this weekend!! While she was assisting me, I also noticed that she greeted each and every customer with a smile and was so good about saying bye to everyone and telling them to visit again soon. The customer service is fabulous here. I shopped for a couple of hours and got great clearance deals as well as household essentials that I already needed on my shopping list!! I also found good deals on food and snacks!! I absolutely adore the super cute Halloween decor too -even shared photos of the decor with some friends who also want to come buy it now!! The store is also well-organized; especially the seasonal isles!! So thankful for the valuable deals and the friendly atmosphere!! Definitely coming back to this location for future deals and Holiday related decor throughout each season. 🎃🛒👻🛍️

Horrible, absolutely horrible. Had to use self checkout, which you have to use most of the time due to the fact that there are no employees. Buying cold medicine so it needed an employee to log in. No employee anywhere. Looked all over the store, it was totally empty, not another soul. I could have robbed the place blind. Waited, looked, never saw anyone. Finally walked over to the little office and knocked and opended door slightly. Was greated by RUDE employee who said "excuse me I am on break". Told her I needed help at check out and just about then another employee magically appeared and I was able to check out. This store is just horrible. Horrible. It must get robbed every day. I recommend going up the road to Centralia.

I usually come to this store for seasonal items and office supplies. This building does not have air conditioning, and the parking lot is atrocious! A few times I've been in they had fans blowing around the store, which just makes it loud, and makes you not want to be in there very long. There are carts, upon carts, and boxes down a majority of the aisles that makes it very hard to get around. Can't imagine it falls under ADA compliance... Had to wait five minutes for someone to come up to the register, even though there was someone in the office. But surprise, there was a stock cart blocking their view of the register.

Absolutely horrible and unprofessional!!! Accused my daughter of stealing even after a receipt was shown, when I called the police in charge of taking care of the situation I was given an even different story from what he originally transpired and even more accusations, I asked for video proof so that if something did happen I could do what was needing to be done as a parent, was told they would get the video footage and get back to my and was never contacted by then again, the police called this morning saying that they said I threatened, which never happened as well, and informed that the video footage was no longer available 😂😂 and to just let it go!!!! I will be contacting corporate about the situation!!!

The last four times I’ve been here they have been closed during normal business hours. I am aware that there is probably a reason for this. Short staffed people sick ect. My only question is, why leave all the lights on like your open? How about you get a open or closed sign so I don’t have to unbuckle my kids just to walk up to a locked door in 100 degree weather. Also my wife has been there twice where employees are outside smoking she goes inside to do her shopping and no one even goes inside they just assume she will used the self check out. I will be sticking with Prengers until you guys can figure this out. OPEN CLOSED

Who doesn't like Dollar General? The only issue I have is I have not seen a Dollar General store that is organized and neat. They all have items in the floor the shelves are messed up, and the one in Hallsville always has racks in front of the registers and you can't get through some of the aisles up front.

Dollar General was ok. Every employee very helpful n friendly. The only trouble I have is all the boxes in the isles. I would be glad to work there after the store closed and stock shelves. Just a thought. Store in Hallsville,Mo.😁

This used to be my go to store but this month it's been nothing but a disappointment and waste of time. If you shop at dg bring your flyers and watch the prices. And they don't honor their sales just a fiy. Other then clearance sales I won't be wasting time at any of the 3 stores in my area.*Select yellow star toys bogo 50%. Total waste since they put a sign right by the toy in question. Total scam.

Do not go expecting to take advantage of the DG app deals. No service inside the store, no apology or explanation from store or corporate. Today alone my trip cost over $10 more than it should have on a $50 trip. That is significant. Worth a trip to Columbia Walmart or Centralia Dollar Tree. Super frustrating.

Friendly clerks. Always ready to help find or explain an item. They don't always have what I am looking for and the isles are always cluttered with stuff to stock. I like the new freezers
