We are full time RV and we have been coming to Trailside RV Park for 5-6 years. It’s a very nice campground and they continually work to upgrade the park every year. It’s clean, the staff is very friendly, it’s convenient to shopping and two major hospitals. They have a large dog park, clean restrooms and a nice pool. The grounds are well taken care off. I give the park a five star rating and we will continue to come here every spring/summer. Thank you Austin for making this campground such a nice place to stay. Quiet, small campground right off I-70 in Grain Valley, Mo. Reservations were easy to make, owners were very accommodating when needing to change reservations (please be considerate and give plenty of advance notice of change). We already have a few more stay reserved here. Convenient to shopping, food, and stadiums. Grounds are well kept and restrooms , laundry etc are very clean. We enjoyed our stay but forgot to get pictures.

Just off the highway, very convenient. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Site 59 was easy to pull into and out. Much older campground with full time campers, who are very friendly making for a very nice atmosphere. Could not hear any traffic noise. Amenities appeared very clean and well taken care of.Wifi is available, although we were unable to access during our stay 😢 nor were we able to connect* to any ‘over the air channels’ (* not likely campgrounds fault).All-in-all, this stop was an high 4 and would recommend it every time.

We absolutely LOVE staying here anytime we come to Kansas city. The location is great, only 10 minutes from tons of amenities, restaurants, and shopping in Blue Springs, but with the privacy and proximity to outdoor activities you get by being outside of the city limits. The people here are so friendly and accommodating, and the whole place is very dog friendly. Their monthly rates are affordable and the laundry, bathrooms, pool, and dog park are all clean and nice, you can tell they put a lot of work into the place. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would!!!

Very friendly staff. Easy to make reservations even at the very last minute. We are traveling and only needed a place for the night. All the amenities for an RV. Right off main highway, full hookup with 50 amp. Dump station,laundry & swimming pool. The only thing is we could not get wifi unless we were outside the camper and close to the office but that didn't really bother us we have unlimted data on our phone's so we were totally fine with it. Highly recommend

Kind, courteous staff. Easy access. Well kept property. Clean facilities. Quiet RV park. We were only there for a single overnight, but were impressed with it. Laundry, pool, and playground on site. Restrooms and showers plentiful in number and clean with good water pressure and temp. Will return again if life takes us this way. Cheers!

Very clean laundry, shower/bathrooms and park. Nice shaded spots.Owners were very pleasant as were the camp workers. We will be returning there in mid September. Location was perfect for where we needed to be.Nearby activities: 20/25 minutes to Kansas City, plenty of shopping options close by. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well.Safety: Felt very safe there, never any issues in the 6 weeks we were there.

I came down just to do an rv dump and the lady was so nice and accommodating. She also sold me some post black tank cleaner.Even though I live local I will be back to stay a weekend and definitely more dumps.Thanks so much! New customer!!!

It was good a experience appreciate the hospitality. The shower house and bathrooms were very clean, and was very happy you had washing machines n dryers The Dog park was also a nice touch. However we do feel the lot size was pretty small and the outdoor area where the BBQ grill is, could use some work. Would of liked to have had a firepit also. But thank you so much , will be back!!

We were grateful for the shaded spot! There were a tremendous amount of ants on the picnic table, so we didn't eat outside in order to not carry them into our camper.Safety: Very secure place just off the highway

We need an overnight spot on a Saturday night -- in a location where many require both Friday and Saturday stays. Trailside RV park was a Godsend. A beautiful RV park with full hook up service, a swimming pool, fenced dog park, laundry and very clean showers.Very friendly neighbors too. Definitely recommend this park.

The location was convenient, right off the highway, which is great for a quick overnight. The park is dated with rotting wood separating the spaces. The staff was very friendly and it looked like they had put down fresh gravel for my one night stay, I might not have even gotten close to level if they had not. There is no continuous fence from the park to the Interstate, you are right next to the highway. The hookups were dated and even though my site had sewer, the pipe was broken at the top. I debated just dumping at the dump station but was able to make it work. There is a RV repair shop right next door which was great, considering I lost my sewer hose somewhere while driving cross country and needed new pins for my tray that was about to fall off. There is a great park across the street to walk, which was great as I was traveling with dogs. On the way back from my cross country trip I made it further than I thought while driving and called to cancel my reservation. They provided a full refund and were very nice. Everything in me wanted to give a better rating due to the kindness of the staff, the park across the street, and the convenience to the highway but with the condition of the sites and the hookups I could not.

We have such a deep and resounding respect and appreciation for the people who run Trailside RV park. As first timers, we couldn't have been more green in every aspect of RVing. From the massive amount of information provided by Ted in the office, to the overwhelming assistance and knowledge provided by Chris and Trudy. The owner, Austin, came and showed us the ropes as soon as we arrived. We have made life long friends in a matter of days and love the community that this park has. The renovations are unreal! The bathrooms and showers have been entirely renovated and updated with superior craftsmanship. The pool is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. We will forever be grateful that we chose to stay here and will stay here anytime we are in the area. It is a quiet retreat with loads of kind people who put such effort into helping one another.

Nice and shady.. Not quiet! Very busy interstate right beside the campground!..the wifi is terrible.. they put it by the office and they have no kind of extender.. if you have a booster it might help.. I'm in lot#66.. no internet even after spending 200$ on a wifi booster.. plus they love to have there tanks flushed in the morning, early, so you can be woken up to a horrible smell.. if you're spending this kind of money, maybe you should find another site, this one is not worth the money. No amenities! Other than laundry. Not worth the money they charge!! Don't do it unless you have too! The owner of this site does not care! They will charge you almost 1000.00! Just to stay 28 days! Absolutely horrible! Will never stay here again and will never lie to people about this place!!!

We were thankful that Trailside had aone-night vacancy on our way through town and at a good price. However, the very narrow sites (ours did not have a picnic table- really little space for one) and the unisex bathroom/shower room (they closed one and the unisex one is being renovated) did not work well for our family of 5 with 3 young daughters. It looks like it will eventually be a nice campground when all the renovations are completed.

Pictures don’t quite show the reality of this RV park. It’s run down. The host told us it’s under new management so improvements should come soon. We made reservations months in advance and they had our reservation but didn’t know we reserved 3 nights (we had confirmation) we reserved full hook up but they didn’t have one available (again confirmed). Also women’s bathroom was closed and the men’s became unisex. The host said they have a new software system and everything didn’t transfer over. She was very apologetic. Poorly managed at the moment.

The best part about this RV park were the spotless and beautiful restrooms and showers. The pull through site needed a little maintenance especially the area near the hooks up which were very muddy. A little gravel would fix that. Staff was very friendly. The location was next to a lovely walking trail which was a real bonus!

Heading west in 100 degree weather our generator was working but not sending power to coach - No AC !! These folks worked us in right away (within a couple of minutes, not days). Our technician, Mike identified the problem and repaired it on the spot for about $150. We were very lucky to find them. Couldn’t be happier with their knowledge and friendliness

I have stayed at Trailside numerous times during my travels to visit family. Never have I been disappointed with my stays. The grounds are very maintained and the staff always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this park if traveling though.

Staff very helpful and nice. New owners cleaning up and upgrading daily. Tables need replacing, sites are close, but for someone who needs a place to camp while visiting in area , it’s just fine. Didn’t use pool or clubhouse but looked clean. In a year I expect continued upgrades.

I was turned down for a month to month spot due to owners determining I wasn't financially stable. I'm not sure how they came to that conclusion( I asked to pay half up front until we figure out if we'll stay)without background check,or credit check. Working full time and so is my wife for 30+ years... 2021 30' new Rv and 10 yr old truck. Looks like discrimination and racism is what you'll get here..Also rude unorganized and there lot looks disgusting.
